Sheppard Beecroft Medical Clinic

Ive had Dr Rosenthal as my family Dr since he opened his practice on Beecroft. He has looked after my two children now, 25/27 since they left they’re obstetrician. Whenever Ive called he has always fit me in, yes, Im sure he can be short at times. Ive not seen it, but Im in health care and have worked with many physicians. As a family Dr, he is one of the most knowledgeable and caring Dr’s I know. He also shows up! Many are doing zoom these days. If your lucky enough to get him as your famiky Dr. Your in great hands. Im so sorry to hear others have not had the same excellent care we have had. Mostly the walk ins it seems like. Dr’s are human. We all get overwhelmed at times and for walk-ins. He did take them early on I guess. But since the pandemic, i think he has enough with his regular clients. I dont think he has as much time. Our medical system is grossly over worked and underfunded. For walkins, look up OHIP site and register with a family Dr.

Very roud, arrogant, aggressive gentleman on the counter… I believe was the doctor. Never see something like him

It is hard to get an appointment at other clinics in my area with long waitlist that can take two weeks but Dr. Rosenthal and his receptionist are friendly and are available to take an appointment swiftly and get getting medical as soon as possible is appreciated.

My daughter and I have been to Dr Rosenthal on a walk in basis. The receptionist is always pleasant and accommodating. Both times Dr Rosenthal saw us in short order and efficiently diagnosed and cured us successfully. I highly recommend this clinic.

I needed prompt medical attention, i called and they were fully booked, but still fit me into their schedule.they worked very efficiently.

The receptionist AND doctors at this clinic are extremely pleasant and helpful. Our family goes to this walk-in clinic when our family doctor's office cannot accommodate us and we receive top notch care from Dr. Rosenthal. The clinic accommodates us quickly and everyone there is very friendly. The clinic is clean and operates efficiently, unlike any other walk-in I've ever attended. Thanks!

I called in the morning and got an appointment asap! Make sure u did a COVID-19 rapid test before hand to ensure you do not have Covid!

After I called in, I waited probably 5 mins in the waiting room and got seen right away. The docter was super professional and straightforward. He definitely knows what he is doing and can quickly reccomend a procedure for ur symptoms. I highly reccomend this place! Make sure to call in before going in!

I had a wound in my back which in first place was not properly dressed and when I went back the next day with blood reipping from my back and asked the doctor to clean and properly wrap it, he said he has no time and I should go back next week or go to ER! This clinic is a horrible place and should not be considered as a safe place to be called walk in clinic. Their license should be revoked. Do yourself a favour and do not go to this clinic if you value your health and safety.

I have to say that dr. Rosenthal and his staff are amazing! Veryy efficient and caring. Never rushed, they follow through with results quickly. Also very understanding. Would definitely recommend!

We've been going to this walk in clinic over 6 years now. Dr Rosenthal is by far the best Dr we've met in Canada. He is super nice, efficient and truly cares about his patients. The rest of staff is great as well, we've always got excellent service from anyone we interacted with there. I'd strongly reccomend this clinic!

I've good experiences here lately and the reception is great at getting you in if you're in a pinch.

Dr Rosenthal has been my Doctor for 18 years now. I find him pleasant, responsible and professional. Also - it is nice that when you book an appointment there is little to no waiting when you arrive for that appointment.

I have been going to Dr Rosenthal and Dr Gerstein about 20 years. Very helpful, accommodating, and proficient.

Dr Rosenthal is very quick and efficient. Takes patients in for same-day appointments and gives information right away on the next steps of treatment. Best walk-in clinic I've been to

I called them and they were able to take me in immediately. I saw the doctor, quick in and quick out with a diagnosis. Super fast and knowledgeable doctor at this location.

So kind, helpful, and informative. My visit for something quite embarrassing, and I not only left feeling well taken care of, but I also left with knowledge and reassurance about my issue. I am not sure the name of the male doctor who works at this clinic, but I have never seen a worse bedside manner on a doctor. He was openly rude to patients in the waiting area - so much so that I hoped he wouldn't be the walk in clinic doctor I saw. He of course, was, and was rough in handling my injury and very unapologetic and in all honesty, just very rude. Front desk staff was absolutely lovely, and no a single complaint there, but if you need to go to a walk in clinic in the area save your time and go across the street to another clinic.

I walked in right when they opened with an asthma attack and they handled the situation so fast. Especially with covid going on they they were cautious and quick and I got exactly what I needed. Thank you!

Dr. Betty Gerstein has been my family doctor for over 5 years. She is super knowledgeable, extremely professional and very caring towards her patients. Dr. Gerstein addresses the concerns right away and provides correct diagnosis and prompt referrals if needed. Both my daughter Anaida and I love her and consider ourselves lucky to have such a great doctor. Dr. Gerstein is simply amazing! She is truly one of the best doctors out there!

During more then 23 years, all members of my family visit doctor Rosenthal in walk in clinic. I can say that he is most helpful, highly experienced doctor which we ever meet in Toronto. Thank you doctor Rosenthal! Svetlana M.

I'm been to this clinc many times over the past 15 years and have always recieved profeesional, well explained advice.
I would highly recommend Dr. Rosenthal!

While the receptionist was extremely warm and friendly with the wait time being less than 15 mins, the doctor I saw was unbelievably rude and condescending. I've had an issue on-and-off for over a month, but he interrupted a number of times with "but what's the issue you're having TO-DAY? " (with an enunciated "TO-DAY"). He was annoyed, exasperated, repeating "I don't know what symptoms you're talking about, tell me the symptoms, what are the symptoms". He wants to hit an in-and-out quota more than serving the patients themselves - there's a difference between being efficient and being simply rude, wanting patients out the door ASAP for the sake of having a "no long wait time" reputation in the block. I won't be coming back here again and will be telling friends and family to avoid this walk-in as well. From the other reviews, it's clear the doctor decides who he likes and doesn't like within the first few seconds instead of treating EVERYONE who walks through his doors with a basic level of decency.

Dr Rosenthal used to treat my family 15 years ago, and even back then, he was a fantastic, highly experienced doctor. We have always missed him since we moved out of Toronto.

He is one of the best family docs and GPs I have ever been treated by.

False advertising. Went there for 8am walk-in on a Friday as per their ad. Doctor tells me that secretary isn't there until 9 and doesn't even give me the time of day, tells me to go elsewhere.

I Hope this clinic could help Canadians wake up and realize free healthcare is nothing but scam. Keep your tax dollars and decide who should get it; forcing it out of your pocket and moving to doctors’ pockets isn’t working out

Visiting this walk in is like a visit to Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. So pleasant on one visit we considered switching family doctors. Across perhaps 3 or 4 more visits, only one was good and the others were all shockingly rude and ignorant. This was true for both doctors. Not worth the abuse so we quit and haven't been back. I wouldn't advise the gamble.

Was not sure if I should go here after reading reviews. The wait time was short! Front desk was friendly and Dr Rosenthal put my mind at ease, was professional and efficient and received the best treatment! Thats where i will be going next time.

Not sure what's up with all those negative reviews. I always get nothing but the best treatment and experience in this clinic. Darlene is great and very nice and dr Rosenthal has always given me the best advice and treatment!

My Girlfriend went to see this MD for an ongoing cough and an ear infection, the MD did his basic examination but it appears that the MD was having issues with another MD from another clinic or hospital and he did not hesitate to use some abusive and rude language toward the other MD which discussing the issue with his Secretary. When my girlfriend came came home, after 1 hour she started to have a severe abdominal cramp/ pain. Thought it was a food poisoning but we have been sharing home cook food for the last two days but I did not go sick.its appears a tongue depressor was used at the clinic which apparently was taken by the MD from a bowl or box.most likely my girlfriend got a free bug from this clinic.difficult to prove.but I would not recommend this clinic anymore.be warn!

Doctor is fantastic. Was able to quickly diagnose my issue, gave me a detailed explanation of what's going on. Highly recommended!
