Sheppard's Bush Conservation Area

Checked it out today beautiful hidden gem in Aurora Ontario.

Lots of tall old trees and trail path amazing.

Nicely paved parking area. The area is not big but all trails are almost covered with trees. Prefect to visit even on a sunny day.

I love this place with tall trees. It gives me feeling in the middle of forest. Comfortable walk pass. I will come back to finish other routes.

Decent place to go. Can get really cold in the places with dense canopy, was here for the colors of the fall which I did get a plenty of. There are picnic tables, buildings from 1920s and they offer tours from Monday to Friday.
Readily accessible through Aurora Go (in case you are travelling from far away).
In case you want, you can bring your dogs for a walk. There are multiple trails that connect with one another, so plenty to do.

Great place to walk your dog (on leash only) when you are tired of walking around the block or on the paths in town. The trails are clearly marked and one leads to a pretty stream. The parking lot is a good size and has been recently paved.

Perfection of nature! Such a great place for a walk anytime of day to clear your mind, and heal your soul

Sheppard's Bush is a wonderful forested spot in Aurora. Accessible any time of year, there are some great walking trails.

Perfect place for a weekend, it has a couple of gazebos with benches in it.
However, washrooms are close because of COVID.

Awesome trails! My boyfriend and I run through them all the time and it’s such a peaceful walk when you want to wind down. There is also a nice park at the beginning of the trails with soccer fields and outdoor exercise equipment which is pretty cool. There’s a little river that runs through the trails which makes it nice and cool in the summer time and it’s a gorgeous walk in the winter as well. ️

Easy abd short trails, huge soccer ground with many soccer fields; however, the old cottages were closed due partly to Covid-19 and partly because some bugs infestation.

This place is always an incredible walk with amazing things to see. Stop by and build a stick hut in the forest.

Such beautiful walking trails! Lots of birds and wildlife. There is a tree that is the biggest I have ever seen, the width is incredible.worth a look forsure! Lots of benchs to sit and enjoy the views

Sheppards bush has prominent trails and it's really shows off the seasons. It has gone from spring to summer in 3 days. It's like someone had a wand and changed everything. I would give it a 8 out 10. Just a thought. Lol

Awesome trail for kids. Wide and spacious. Can get crowded so would go during business hours. Lots of small creatures to see.

I've lived right next to it for years. Great trails for biking and hiking and really great for cutting shortcuts through town.

The peaceful place with beuatiful trees and logs. I really recommend hiking there on a sunny weekend! Its not over populated like other places to have a relaxing place. Great for a brief day trek of you don't want to travel too far out of the GTA. There's excellent fitness stations around the first rate soccer field.

Ahhhh. Nice fresh breath of air and trails. Not crowded at all. Great for your mental health during these times.

I like it here. Last weekend I went was beautiful but the ground is still a bit muddy with the snow melting. Otherwise a great experience!

A small little Trail within the city. You could see buildings and Warehouse right nearby. It probably would look nicer in the summer when all the leaves are on the trees and there is more privacy walking throughout. And winter with the leaves all down you can see straight to the city or buildings nearby. The pathway was quite icy so good boots are recommended. You can walk around the path as most of the area is very flat. There were families and people with dogs mostly walking.

Good place to go for a hike. Lots of trails. Make sure you wear spiked boots during winter months.

Best walking trails in Aurora. Great place to reflect and spend time in nature. Easy access from many neighbourhoods. A river runs through it. Benches to sit and immerse yourself in the quiet.

Pleasant, peaceful forest walk located inside town limits. Mostly, flat. Can be icy after winter rain or snow melt. Well worth 30-60 minutes of relaxation and re-energizing.

Amazing forest with lots of trails, I used to come here very often for a Sunday hike. It has narrow forest trails for walking, gravel forest trails for both walking and biking, and paved trails out in the adjacent meadow (also for walking+biking). There is so much to explore in this small area from the forest to the meadow.

Simply the best area in Aurora if you want to experience nature. They have special events for holidays and everything is well maintained. Great place to for a walk with kids.

This is one of the places I cant get enough of. It is truly a beautiful place to walk through at any time of year. Whether your out with the family, walking your dog, or out doing photography, you wont be disappointed.

Nice place for a walk. A couple different trails although none of them are very long. Can get very busy around midday.

A small bushy area. Not recommended in a rainy day as slippery and full of bugs. For a normal summer day, It's fine to have a quick visit.

Any place to walk in nature is fantastic. This has nice paths and tons of squirrels and chipmunks around.

You can spend all day at Sheppard's Bush if you love to walk the trails. I love to hike the trails with my dog and I get to meet the friendly locals who are also out walking the trails.

Biked this trail with a friend. It was right after a rain so a bit muddy in spots but it's a beautiful trail.
