Sheridan Mall IDA Walk - In And Family Practise Medical Clinic

Went for a walk in, did have a bit of a wait (about 1hr and 15 mins) but the dr was quick but thorough. Very kind and compassionate, even came out of the room to double check info with another question which I appreciated. Pharmacy here is very convenient and extremely quick. I had my prescription ready within 5 minutes. I recommend.

Dr karimi is the best doctor. Very profesional, he cares about his patients and the staff are nice.

1. Receptionist = fast and very helpful
2. Doctors = very professional
3. Pharmacy = speak to patients with easy word to understanding.

If I could give zero stars I would. It is a very racist clinic. I am Mexican and I speak English, but not perfectly but 70% yes. Yesterday, Wednesday, March 30, I tried to receive medical attention at this clinic, I called to schedule an appointment a day before and I arrived on time at 2pm. When I arrived they told me that since I didn't speak perfect English, the doctor couldn't see me, that I had to bring a translator, he doesn't have long to go and I hardly know anyone. I asked the secretary if I could use Google translate since that's how I communicated with my midwife when I didn't understand something she said to me (she's barely 3 months since I gave birth and she gave me a vaginal infection, that's why I wanted a doctor in order to receive treatment) I tried to contact a person to come to the clinic as my translator but the secretary told me that I could not use a cell phone inside the clinic that if I wanted to use it I would have to leave (he told me this several times), I mean Who in the 21st century doesn't use their cell phone to make a call or use WhatsApp inside an establishment? In the end they did NOT attend me, they told me that if I wanted them to attend me, they would look for a translator.

Very terrible location,
It was my first time going this place and unfortunately i was given a doctor by the name Abedi who was unprofessional and had no humour whatsoever who was acting everything except a doctor, very rude and disrespectful. I believe its shame on how somebody let this kind person still work in such important place for the community. The receptionist not only rude she is aggressive too.
