I go there expecting a quality product fully knowing you usually get what you pay for. It's possible to buy just as good elsewhere cheaper but if your not concerned about saving a few dollars it's great.

I had one of the worst flower buying experiences probably in my life recently and was going to change this to a 1 star rating if it wasn't for one of the associates I went back and spoke to on our recent visit to Sheridan Nurseries.

When I went back to solve a problem with recent (very expensive) flowers we purchased, I was met with a lot of attitude and head scratching from a few associates as if I was in the wrong. When I finally spoke to someone named Julia, she was understanding, caring and went above and beyond to come up with a solution. She asked a manager when appropriate to do so and she took ownership of the problem even though it wasn't her fault. She is exactly what customer service should be and the manager on duty that day was also very helpful. Thank you Julia for taking a terrible experience and turning it into a great one. Word of advice to the management.clone Julia!

When I walked in, one of the workers was standing right near the entrance and looked me right in the face. She said nothing. I still said “good morning”, to be polite but she ignored me. I figured she did it because she was speaking to someone. While I was browsing, a white, older male walked in and she stopped her conversation to greet him as he entered.
I immediately walked out after that. I did not feel welcomed
I was planning on buying a few things too. Will be taking my business elsewhere! I was definitely treated differently in there.

Too much cheap, ridiculously overpriced, made in China, junk garden decorations.

Many plant items overpriced compared to big box stores with no appreciable difference in quality.

I think they are riding on their reputation for the most part.

I love to shop here year round, a bit pricey for some things, but a lot of different and unique items you wouldn't find at big box stores, even just looking around is a nice experience. We go here especially at Christmas (for a tree) they make everything so beautiful, here's Santa and a little visitor, I wonder if he sat on his lap?

One of my favourite nurseries to shop for a wide variety of healthy plants. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
They carry everything you need for both your house and garden. A great place to shop for Christmas decorations, clothes, and gift items.

If you are looking for christmas decoration for your tree, this place is a must visit. They have got some cute decor and a great selction. The price is a bit expensive but guess the quality is good. Lots of Indoor plants, succulents, pots, etc available. Warranty policy is great.

I bought many trees and bushes. I hope they will grow up next year as my expectation. Well organized and nice friendly staff

Love the return policy on dead plants. It has saved my garden many times from plants not surviving the winter. You can get any plant you are searching for here and the staff knows a lot about plants.

First time customer. I was so surprised and appalled that they asked $100 for delivery within Whitby regardless what you order. This is a money grab indeed.

I walked into Sheraton. Whitby location just before Xmas with this great big crystal vase and to my surprise your employee designer Tracey grabbed this monster of a thing and went of and did this beautiful flower arrangement, what a wonderful job Tracey, thank you so much, you where wonderful, and thanks to Sheraton for always helping with my projects

Thanks to Summer and Randy we found the nicest tree this year. They even helped load it on the car, Merry Christmas!

My husband and I went here today to buy a Fiddle Leaf fig and a spider plant. We were so impressed with the service and kindness we recieved from the lovely gentleman in the plant section and the fellow staff too! We love coming here. Our plants look amazing in our new home. ️

Absolutely beautiful decor ideas I found them a bit over priced, that being said many beautiful things

I came in the store and saw an employee named Karen physically attacking and swearing at a customer because he did not have a mask. It was so horrible to watch. I think she needs mental help because she was screaming at him and grabbing him even though she is supposed to be socially distancing. Her mask kept falling off as she was yelling at him. I'm not sure if he was medically exempt from wearing one or not she didn't even give him a chance to speak but that is UNACCEPTABLE behavior from anyone. I will not be coming back here. I am disgusted.

Prices comparable to Vandermeer, quality of products and staff awesome. Their warranty is awesome. 2 year warranty on the tree we purchased, this is best among the nursery here.

Took my mom here the other day and we found exactly what we were looking for. There was staff all over the place to ask for help. We even had a lady come up to us and ask if we needed anything. Customer service was perfect and they were very knowledgeable and friendly. The plants are well taken care of and have alot of variety. It's a little out of our way but we will definitely make an effort to be back for future purchases for our garden items from this nursery. A+

Went there last week. 1st time. The 1st guy did not know the 2 nd girl at the door check in screamed and was upset at asking her to check for verbena the herb not the shrub. She claimed she new and did not have to check with anybody. Sorry little girl. There exist verbena the herb. Bad attitude bad for business.

A nice place to shop. Nice layout, friendly staff. A very decent variety of plants. Huge tree section.

I always find their of flowers and plants to be widely diverse and beautifully displayed. It is a treat going to the location in Whitby because every year they have some new variety that I haven't seen. They are a bit more on the pricey side, to be honest. However I've bought plants from Lowe's and Home Depot to save some money but the yield is not the same. So given the beautiful selection, I chose to go to this store every year now.

Curve side pickup was fast and easy. The tree yard and plant areas are open for walking as well

Always clean and well organized Nurserie. Great variety and options however, they are quite pricey.

Wide range of garden products plants flowers fertilizers. Reasonable prices as well. 4 stars although staff seems friendly and their Shirts says here to help.we asked for a tree expert to assist us and no one showed even after another employee called.

Great place to find most things to grow from seeds plants bushes /shrubs trees and everything that you need for them.

Definitely the most expensive nursery around here but the quality is just unmatched. You can tell the pants are well cared for, no pests or disease on any of the plants ive brought home. Not the best place for indoor plants but for vegetables and any outdoor plants it's my go to.

Awesome selection of plants and trees. They had some beautiful Sharp's pygmy japanese maple trees, juniper pom pom etc.

We went with list of perennials to pick out. Staff knowledgable & in no time cart loaded up & checked out. Good COVID protocols in place & staff & customers abide by them. One of our go to nurseries & have good quality stock.

Very knowledgeable, helpful staff make it easy for the part time gardener. Excellent selection and very good quality.

Not a huge selection of plants, plant tags not clearly labeled to show the price.

The isles could have been numbered so staff can point you to the isle number.

If you have a plant shopping list be prepared to do a lot of searching to find what you want.

Love Sheridan, this year many items for stocking stuffers. Many Christmas items on sale 40-50% off.

It is a great place all the staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable. It is dog friendly and our dog loves going! Which makes our life much easier.

Their houseplants are in poor condition (usually overwatered), with visible pests. There is no difference in price.

Great variety of plants and flowers and lots of decor items. A little more o the expensive side but you get what you pay for

Tracy was SO helpful and directed us to the perfect plants, two we knew we wanted (she picked out the best ones for us), and one we didn't know we wanted, but of course we did.

I did not enjoy my time here. I actually had to leave earlier than expected as I was forced to wear a mask on a day when it is sunny and 32 degrees. It is very tough to breath with a mask on in extremely hot weather. I also do not understand why they place the price labels underneath the items but then ask you not to touch the plants or labels. The amenities is the only good thing about this place.

Lots of plant choices.beautiful and well maintain.very knowledgeable staff. One of the girls explained the plants according to the seasons.we were convinced of the ones we wanted.and we got home with the best ones.for sure another trip to this lovely place

Great place and friendly staff. 4 stars because some of the small plants are a little pricey. But overall nice shopping experience.

We had a question about lawn care and the staff member we spoke to was so helpful! She clearly explained the cause of the issue we were having, and provided several possible solutions to the problem. Always have a great experience here, but usually we're just buying plants as opposed to asking for specific advice - so we really appreciated her patience, knowledge and assistance!

I went to buy some seed today, at the door I was asked to Make a two dollars donation which they were only accepting in cash, I did not have any loose change so I handed a $5 bill to her and was handed back $3 in change. When I was ready to check out they refused to take the cash as payment reason being because of the pandemic.
If you are trying to keep vigilant what is the explanation for the inconsistency in your pandemic protocol when you gladly accept my cash as donation and enjoy the tax break but deny to accept the same cash as a form of payment.
This is a direct insult to your customers intelligence!

Firstly, none of the flowers I wanted were in stock (I guess they're busy with stocking on masks). Usually they do have a nice selection, but not this year.
Secondly, ABSOLUTELY the most expensive nursery I've been to. A two-feet tall Hydrangea is $50!
Mandatory masks ($2 each, which they say goes to charity), stricter rules than a pharmacy.so be prepared.

Great quality products at this nursery. Their prices can be a little higher than other garden centers/nurseries. They have implemented great policies during Covid to keep their staff & customers as safe as possible.

I understand the situation of the pandemic at the moment but being required to wear masks especially on hot days is ridiculous. Due to the situation we did not buy anything and had to leave the store.

Today I called to find out what time nursery is open till. I was told at 6 PM. I went there at 4.40 PM. I was at the line up for a couple of minutes I was told that the Nursery is closed and come back tomorrow. I drove from far. I understand this is an unprecedented time. But at least have a plan, at least let people know when they call.

Wonderful selection of plants & flowers, however only 1 of multiple staff was willing to help me. Majority were in clusters talking about private life, not something a customer wants to hear.

We had redone our whole front yard as well as my parents.
We bought many trees bushes and plants for each yard.
My parents had 2 trees that did not make it past one year and we also have a dying tree.
We contacted the nursery only to be told they dont have our emails on file with the receipt.
And i know for a fact we gave them the emails.
That was a big waste of alot of money.
We have bought from them many times before that.
Will not be going back.
Very disappointed.

A lovely little garden shop. There's lots to see here, my husband and I bought two really nice trees as well as a couple other plants for home. The people were wonderful and we enjoyed visiting there outdoor Garden. It's like a tropical oasis.:) it was very nice that they gave us a guarantee on some of our trees as we know that some trees may not survive there is a two-year warranty for certain species. My husband got a Japanese maple. Overall pleased however prices can be a little steeper.

Stopped in to pick up a quick birthday gift, they have alot of good selection a little pricey. I find they don't have as good of a succulent selection as Vandemeers and they don't appear as healthy. A good nursery all around.

Enjoy coming here and looking at different varieties of home decor and plants. Can't wait to see all the outdoors plants in a few weeks.

I enjoy shopping in the store. It is very unique. The plants are great quality. It's jut a bit expensive for me. Special excursions only for me.
