Shin Ramen and Sushi

Black tonkotsu garlic ramen was absolutely delicious. The broth itself is delicious and the noodles hold the coat well and retain flavour. Wish there was a spicy garlic flavour as well. Egg in the ramen was perfectly cooked and so flavourful. And the quality of the pork was amazing. Every aspect of the dish is fresh tasting and hearty.

I went here for dinner with a friend and got a green tea, miso soup, and the Special Tray ($14.45) which includes Dynamite Roll, Spicy Crab Roll, California Roll and Salmon Sushi. It was all so delicious and very filling. The staff were very nice and I liked the decor inside.

Mine and my son's favorite ramen restaurant so far. Both the shio and shoyu ramen are amazing.

Edit. While I still really love this place I have had issues twice ordering for takeout the latest being today. I asked for just the noodles and charsu nothing else (due to minor allergies) but it came with everything on it. I know it happens however I can't say I'm not disappointed

Good food and good portion. The ramen was really flavourful and had a nice smoky and slightly spicy flavour. The veggies and noodles were just rightly cooked. The chicken though had an aftertaste and the seaweed kind of made it all a bit fishy for my liking. Can easily split this for two meals.

The spicy salmon roll was amazing. It was so filling and had layers of flavours.

Looking forward to trying more sushi varieties from here.

Just wow… I come here often for school lunches but decided to bring my boyfriend here for dinner. The food is amazing. Full of flavour and very tasty. And let me tell you they do not hold back with portions. Great 10/10 experience and great customer service

We ate the Shin shin ramen and tonkatsu ramen along with the sushi special tray. All of the dishes were soon good? The broths in the ramen were rich in flavour and you can tell that you use good quality ingredients. The price was fair as well. We will be coming back!

I found it by luck thanks to Uber and I wasn’t disappointed by my meal. Excellent sushis and they do onigiris! Fresh and nice dressing. I suggest this spot to order any japanese food.

The staff was welcoming and warm. They accommodated our large group very well and the service was super quick. The dessert videos on the screen make you want to eat more, hahah

As an Asian, this is truly not an authentic Japanese style ramen! It Vietnamese style! It has pork minced in the ramen? What the hell and super spicy! Feel like entering a Vietnamese restaurant, selling Vietnamese ramen! Wild not come again.

Hands down Best sushi in Etobicoke area (maybe City) Staff is fantastic and service is always great.

Someone in my community group had posted about the good food she had a Shin Ramen Sushi that I decided to try it. Since it was my first time, I played it safe and ordered the "Special Tray" and it did not disappoint. The ingredients were very fresh, prepared with care, even down to the texture and right amount of vinegar in the rice - amazing!

Loved the ramen. This place is a neighborhood gem, a must visit in south Etobicoke. In this crazy inflation times, you can get a dinner for 2 for $40 including a tip.

Hidden gem in South Etobicoke. Tried the Tantan Ramen, Spicy Tonton and Salmon Unigiri. Love the spicyness of the ramen coz it was just the right amount of spice perfect for cold nights.
Service was fast also. Definitely will go back and try the sushi rolls.
Parking can be full at times, so I suggest park across the street.

I just got here in Etobicoke and this place feels like my go-to Japanese place already! The broth of their miso ramen was so good definitely not going to be my last time here!

Small restaurant but good quality food. Food came quick, staff was very friendly. I had the black tonkatsu ramen.

Underrated “hole in the wall” type of ramen spot. Their ramen is rich, decadent, and comes with incredibly generous portions sizes. Would order from here again.

Great little location, food was fast to the table, everything was delicious and enough to fill both me and my date. Will be comming back again

Loved the food. Went here some days back. One of the best Ramens I have had in Toronto. But what disappointed me the most was, while leaving i am not sure if she was the manager of the owner but she came and asked us about our experience and we did tell her that we loved the food, but she forcefully asked us to leave a tip at the restaurant before leaving. Why would you put a compulsion on that? Being a student, you become very skeptical about giving tips. But asking for it was not just right. My whole experience in terms of customer service was ruined. I would love to go back to this place but because of how we were forced to tip them I wouldn’t ever go back here.

The food was okay but the customer service was not: We were sat at a dirty table; used dishes were not collected from the table; appetizers and mains were brought out at the same time; servers did not check on us after serving the food.

The workers seem to care more about their takeout orders than their dine-in customers.

I’ll bring my ramen craving elsewhere next time.

Amazing Ramen the best one so far in Toronto. I saw a review about the garlic flavour and is really true, amazing. Super recommended.

One of my fav sushi spots for dine in and also take out! Super yummy and fresh, not too much rice, good combination of flavors and big cuts of sashimi.
The Ramen is also good. The noodles absorb the flavors of the soup. Nagasaki Ramen was so good my parents took us again. The staff are friendly and owners are very nice. The place is small but the atmosphere is nice.

Food is really great, it's fairly close to authentic Japanese dishes (not the sushi). But really tasty. Floor was pretty dirty and kind of slippery but not really a big deal. They were playing only Taylor Swift music.

Great Ramen! Had the seafood Ramen, chicken karage (fried chicken) and salmon tataki. Everything was great, the seafood Ramen is quite spicy and the server had mentioned that due to which I had halved the spice levels. But it still spicy, but delicious!

I tried the Sapporo miso ramen, chicken karaage, and spicy tonton ramen here. The Sapporo miso ramen has good flavour, but I found the broth to be overpowered by the salt. It was a bit too salty for me. The toppings in the Sapporo miso ramen were really good. I enjoyed the noodles. I think they noodles were best part of the dish. I do wish that the Sapporo miso ramen came with slices of pork though.

The Spicy tonton ramen broth is super spicy. The pork they gave with it was good and the same can be said about the noodles. However, it was lacking toppings. I wish there was more in there. The egg in this ramen was overcooked though.

I didn't dislike or like their chicken karaage. I found it to be okay. It was a bit soggy for me and I wasn't a super fan of the dipping sauce they gave with it.

Overall, I think this restaurant is worth trying if you are in the area. It's decently priced, and you get a really big meal for the amount you pay.

I moved to the area six months ago and have been five times and today will be my last. We always order Ramen. Every time it is totally inconsistent in broth flavour and amount of ingredients. My husband just got out of the hospital and was craving Ramen. We both ordered the Shin Ramen-basically spicy seafood. I had one shrimp and one shell fish in my entire bowl of soup. My husband had very slightly more. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress she said “well we must have given all seafood to your husband”. Bazaar customer service and no seafood in either of our soups. Never again.
