Shin Shin Chinese Restaurant

We used to go to the Shin Shin all of the time before the new owners took over. It used to be wonderful.

We got takeout the other day and the food was mediocre at best. They no longer have some of our favourite dishes such as crispy beef and spicy green beans. Very disappointed. I would not recommend this restaurant since the food was nothing special. Just like any other fast food type Chinese food.

Food is good and reasonably-priced! The shrimp siumai is highly recommended, lots of shrimps and very tasty. The owner is also very pleasant and friendly.

Ordered on line, food ready in 10 min, sure enough it was ready and piping hot. My husband loves chicken balls and these are the best, not all dough and little chicken like most places, Prices and potions amazing! Thank you, will be back

My hubby and I ordered Shin Shin from DoorDash, and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed their Singapore Noodles, Egg Rolls, Chicken Soo Guy and Gravy. Everything was delicious. Will be ordering again!

I ordered from Shin Shin for the first time ever and I am a Chinese Food snob. This is the BEST Chinese food I have ever had. I love how they do the sweet and sour chicken balls (in smaller pieces with actual chicken) and the amount of sauce was very generous. (and yummy)

The food is always an excellent value for the price. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of when you eat there. My mom adores their chicken with black bean sauce.
Most recently, they even gave us some free slices of watermelon after our dinner.

I ordered through doordash but they also deliver. I recommend going through their delivery. When I got my food from the dasher they forgot 2 dishes so I called them up and told them and they had their delivery guy come and drop them off to me. Great food and excellent prices. I recommend it any time.

This restaurant was recommended by my friend and after trying it, it has been one of my favourite spots to come to for Chinese food. I ordered the beef lo mein, the sweet and sour chicken balls, and the cheese wontons. The food always seems to be made on the spot as it is extremely hot when taking it out of the takeout bag. To start, the beef lo mein is very flavourful with a good amount of beef. Although the container seems small, it is indeed a large portion in which you can share with others.

The sweet and sour chicken balls are a must have. Unlike other restaurants that provide more batter to their chicken balls, this restaurant does not which allows you to taste the actual chicken piece. This also allows the chicken ball to stay nice and crispy rather than becoming soggy overtime. The cheese wontons were also quite tasty and fried fresh upon order. Overall, I would recommend this place for those craving Chinese food and will continue to be a loyal customer.

Ordering was quick and easy (by phone). Delivery was quick and complete. Food is very tasty except I did notice that they changed the chicken to the frozen breasts. I don't like that but I find more and more people using it. Overall very good.

Ginger chicken was delicious. Spring rolls were nice and crispy with no oil taste. Mu shu beef was very fresh tasting.

Family has been to Shin Shin many times since the 80s. Friendly and attentive throughout the entire visit. The food is excellent.

The classic Shin Shin is gone. This was the worst Chinese food I've ever had out of Windsor. The prices are ridiculous, white rice doesn't come with entrees, the chicken is rubber, the consistency of the hot and sour soup is gross and Szechuan chicken was full of bell peppers over taking the flavour. When we complained they wouldn't refund us but argued with us. I would not recommend this establishment any longer.

Best Chinese Food in Windsor. Great prices, professional and friendly customer service and delicious food. Everything is well seasoned and piping hot when we ordered take out. Food was ready for pick up in 20 minutes. I ordered a combo platter for $12.99 and it did not disappoint!

First order from this restaurant and delivered by Skip. I didn’t get exactly what I ordered and ended up with 3 orders of sweet and sour chicken balls when I was sure I’d ordered 2 orders of their sweet and sour chicken which is a fairly new item I’m told. The 3 orders chicken balls were overdone and greasy. The rice and noodle dishes tasted good although the bbq pork noodles had barely traces of pork.
Dinner wasn’t a write off but not sure I’ll order there again.

Went there last night and the meal was delicious! Had the pan fried lo mein with chicken and vegetable, egg roll and spring roll. All were so tasty! Jimmy was so kind and welcoming. Would highly recommend

Great eating experience. Had pan-fried noodles with chicken, shrimp and vegetables. And Chinese brocoli, a must. Great service. Will definitely keep this resto as our favorite in Windsor.
