Shining Stars Montessori School

I recently completed my placement at Shining Stars Montessori School, specifically in Casa 2, under the guidance of Ms. Manvir and Ms. Cathy. I wholeheartedly recommend this childcare center to all parents. The coordinators were not only knowledgeable but also incredibly helpful and kind. The entire staff, including Miss Silvia, who provided me with this valuable opportunity, demonstrated a genuine commitment to each child's well-being. This is the perfect Montessori school for parents who want their children to thrive in a nurturing environment and develop across all domains.

Mr. Harry (Harminder Singh) has truly been a shining star in our child's educational journey. He brings an unparalleled level of enthusiasm to the classroom every day. His ability to connect with each child on a personal level is remarkable, creating a warm and nurturing environment that fosters a love for learning. It's evident that he genuinely cares about the well-being and success of each child under his guidance, which helps them gaining the confidence and skills necessary to thrive in a diverse and ever-changing world.

The school itself is well-maintained, clean, and equipped with an array of educational materials that stimulate curiosity and creativity. The staff at Shining Stars Montessori School, including Mr. Harry, work tirelessly to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported. Our experience at this school has been nothing short of exceptional, and I owe a great deal of that to the outstanding leadership and dedication of the school

We couldn't be happier entrusting our little one to the care of the wonderful staff at Shining Stars day care. They communicate everything that happens during the day and take into consideration all of our requests and wishes. The teachers, in particular Mr. Harry, Ms. Amoy, Ms. Mandeep Kaur take the time to make each child feel special and loved. For a first time mom, this type of care and attention to detail is invaluable. My son adores his teachers and would recommend this facility to anyone!

My son has been attending Shining Star Montessori for 1.5 years and we have always had a positive experience here. It’s wonderful seeing my son get excited about going to daycare here. The teachers are always caring, my son’s favourite teacher is Mr. Harry, he is amazing and very kind, Professional, caring, friendly, and compassionate. He welcomes my son every morning in such a cheerful manner. I can see the growth and learning every day. Daily updates on his activities and his progression were sent to me. Happy to say that our little one is in secure and safe hands. Highly recommended!

This school was a good experience for me. In Casa 1, I completed my ECE placement. The supervisor and teachers are all very welcoming here. Mr. Harry was my RECE, and I gained a lot of knowledge from him. He is an extremely seasoned and skilled teacher. All of the students in the classroom adored him, and he had excellent teaching techniques that he applied depending on the scenario and the learning area being covered. In the classroom, he fosters such a supportive learning environment. He taught me a lot of new teaching techniques and skills that will be very useful to me in my future teaching profession. I'm overjoyed that Mr. Harry was my mentor. I'm grateful to the entire staff for making my time in class such a great learning experience.

My daughter has been at Shining Stars Montessori in the CASA 2 for over a year now and we could not be happier to have found such a professionally run school with caring teachers who are very educated in their field.

When you walk into the classroom, you are always greeted with a smile and the teachers are very engaged and in tune with the kids and their specific needs. They also have an open ear for any information I want to share in regards to my daughter, weather at drop off in the morning or at pick up time.

I cannot say enough good things about teacher Ms. Cathy, who encourages the children to problem solve and become critical, independent thinkers by allowing them to explore, experiment and discover in a safe, guided environment.

I am particularly impressed about how much communication happens in the classroom. My daughter is constantly learning new words to express ideas and feelings and the daily book discussions have increased her vocabulary tremendously. She knows that asking questions is always welcome and her confidence about her newly acquired knowledge shows every day.

Mealtimes are also very meaningful as it is a shared, relaxed time where the children learn to serve themselves, help others and clean up by themselves as much as they can. My daughter has adopted this at home and it has become a routine to set and clean the table after meals, which makes us happy and she feels very accomplished at the same time.

Also, having a mixed age group has taught my daughter much about cooperative learning and made her aware of her own role within the group.

Finally, I am impressed with the program's flexibility when it comes to my daughter's schedule. There have been days where I had to drop off my daughter earlier or pick her up later or even switch days and teacher Ms. Cathy has always been more than accommodating about any changes.

I wholeheartedly recommend Shining Stars Montessori to any family who embraces the Reggio philosophy!

My son has had a wonderful experience at Shining Stars. Ms. Cathy has worked closely with him in Casa 2 to help him with daily routines, phonetic awareness and number sense. The care and love he receives from Ms. Cathy and the whole Shining Stars team is absolutely wonderful. Ms. Cathy’s patience and positive attitude is so refreshing to see. I would recommend this school to all first time parents.

My son is been here for 9 months. Ms Cathy is very helpful and caring for all kids and is taking care wonderfully. Best school if you want to adjust your child accordingly. Lucky we got here. Five star to staff and school. No doubt.
