Awesome part of Ottawa to spend great time at least 45min.with your family. Enjoyable to walk, watch boat launches or fisherman but totally different in winter and summer

This is such a great spot! Great park for a picnic, to just to enjoy the nice weather or enjoy the sunset. It’s also a great place to go Kayaking, Paddle boarding & Canoeing. As for swimming, it’s a nice spot but you may not like it if you don’t like feeling seaweed and such in certain spots. But the water’s calm and warm these days. Definitely a go to spot for my family and I.

Lovely spot on the Ottawa river. Rocky beach and very shallow water. Nice for a short walk, wading and great for a paddle. It is my goto for Ottawa kayaking. Getaway on the edge of the city

Interesting place to visit year-round. Good spot to see across the Ottawa River to Gatineau/Aylmer Quebec.

Lots of trails but not groomed in winter, at least when we were there February 11 2023
