Shirley's K9 Klippery

Our entire experience with Shirley’s K9 Klippery was amazing. We have a very large, hairy and sensitive dog. He’d only ever been groomed once before and they did their best to calm him down and the results were beyond our expectations. Rogue will definitely be back in the future!

Great people fantastic groomers. Have a Sheltie and that's one of the harder ones to groom and he turned out great. They're very good at listening to what you say when discussing grooming.

Amazing experience here. I took a very nervous cat for a nail clipping, which was being fostered by my senior neighbour. They handled the cat so expertly that the cat, my self and all were left at awe!
Very good experience. I will be taking my own dog as well.

Amazing service, took my 3 year old dog here for her first groom and they did amazing! Charged a very reasonable fee and my girl looks incredible, thank you so much to all the people at Shirley's! Will be coming back for sure!

My dog Pluto isn't the easiest to take care and hates groomings but all of the staff at Shirley's make him feel as calm as possible while still getting the job done and I always appreciate it

Not recommending it for cat.

* Place is full of fur and it’s not cleaned and smelly (imagine going to a saloon and seeing hair everywhere on floor or chair you sit) it was the same here. Go if you feel it’s hygienic for you.
* Gave my cat for (Bath, Brush, Teeth Brush, Hair trim, Ear clean, nails). Took them 2+ hours and job was not at all professional! My cat was not properly cleaned or brushed after hair trim because the lumps of her trimmed hair was all over her.
* Felt like I paid for wasting my and my cat energy and time.

I brought my new kitten to Shirley to put on some soft paws but she informed me she is still to young. However she cut my kitten nails and didn’t even charge me I was so impressed. She was friendly and the best customer service I will be back in a few weeks.

I cannot give enough stars! The people here were absolutely fantastic with my 5 month old girls. I asked for just a clean up and they did exactly what I asked for. Rum and Raisin did not show any signs of stress when we picked them up and the ladies all seemed to love them. The process and price was fantastic. Will definitely be returning with the girls to get them used to full grooming. They were patient and kind and very willing to work with us to get them comfortable with the grooming process.

Excellent experience here. My family was in the process of re-homing cats so we needed the cats cleaned properly before we took them in.

Shirley's K9 Klippery did an excellent job with bathing the cats; they disposed of the blankets and carrier liners; and cleaned out the carriers for us.

The employees here went above and beyond my expectations and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Beware! I made an appointment to have my cat's claws done a week in advance. Drove all the way to Whitby with a crying cat only to find the place empty. Waited. No one showed up, and no phone call. In fact, they wouldn't answer their phone either. Thanks for wasting my time and gas and upsetting my cat.

We’ve been looking for a groomer for Diamond and finally found one that we can trust and does an amazing job.

My Standard Poodle has had her share of groomers in her 2.5 years and I have to say that Lisa is the best. The haircut, the blow out, the scent of the shampoo was all exceptional! It has been two weeks and Willow still looks and smells amazing. I am so happy I found the best groomer in the area. Highly, highly recommend.

I brought my senior cat Braveheart and we'll be back again! He had a great grooming spa day, she did a wonderful job! The price was right and the level of care here was top notch, thank you.

Shirley's K9 Klippery is amazing! I brought my 2 dogs there today for the first time and it was perfect. Everyone was so kind as soon as I walked in. Both of my dogs are a bit nervous of the groomer but they both were awesome thanks to the wonderful environment they provided They gave them an amazing haircut and I will definitely be going back there. I brought my Golden doodle in for his groom with Mercedes, I showed her a picture of the Teddy bear cut I would like and she executed it perfectly! So happy with his cut and my boy Murphy is a happy guy going into and out of this salon makes me so happy to leave him in such great care! Thank you Mercedes!

I called to get my new puppy a bath a nice girl answered and I asked her if she can squeeze my little puppy in she was very nice a respectful and she did an amazing job and the place is really nice!

Shirley’s did an AMAZING job with my 1 year old Scottish Fold! They were a little slow to call/email me back but this did not take away from the incredible service they provided. The place is small but clean. The staff were experienced and friendly. I was super nervous as this was my cats first time going to the groomers. They were very reassuring and took the time to walk me through the process. Will be back for all my grooming needs.

This place is awesome. My dog Chuck is a heavy shedder. Shirleys shampoo and deshedding treatment (80% guarantee) turned out to be 100% better. Prices are very fair and they know how to trim nails properly. My vet 43 dollars to nip the ends off. Petsmart? Forget it! Shirleys 10 $ 15 with grinding. Look no further you will love the quality of work done here.
