This place is awesome, I didn't realize it was that good until I was invited by friends for a evening out

Our food was cold are linguine chicken Alfredo spareribs with fries can’t understand how food could be cold. If it’s coming out of the kitchen, it was us, and just another couple so you can’t blame that the kitchen was swamped, or the rashes were swamped and couldn’t get to our food the best part was our waitress. She did a good job other than that we will not be eating there again

Excellent place for a large gathering atmosphere is good. Staff is attentive with little exception.

It was an overall good experience. The only downside I can think of was that the music was a little loud was hard to talk with the people I was with.

Ally was an excellent server! She went above and beyond! Also, very lovely! Thank you for the awesome dinner!:) The hot & honey sauced wings are delicious! Please bottle that sauce and sell it. The garlic parm lattice fries are goooood! The crispy shrimp noodle bowl is one of our faves.

Amazing place, took my 3 boys out for dinner, Amazing staff, very friendly, attentive, didn't wait long for our food, great portions, had so much leftover, had to take home, will be a returning customer

Caramel cheesecake is a must. Basmati rice were little undercooked. Good service and staff.

Went last night before the Elvis concert and me and my family had to leave do to feeling violently ill the rest of night so went to Emergency to get checked out and we all 4 of food poisoning after spending $115.49 0n food I wasn't hoping for this result and now we are left sick and disappointed which our experience overall hopefully you reach out and make this right.

Food was good, server absolutely terrible and when we mentioned something to the manager (which turned out to me the owner) he was the rudest person i very met. Hope he treats his staff better then his customers we will NEVER be back

Well its pretty simple.beer started at $6.00 each.by the time i left i had paid $8.00+ and $9.00+ per bottle. $14.00 for a draft.service sucks.really wasnt any.had to go to the bar everytime i needed a drink. NEVEE, will i return!

Tonight we came to shoeless joes on upper James for apps and drinks. We had 3 flatbreads, nachos, calamari and wings. Honestly- they were all extremely hot and so enjoyable. The food was AMAZING and the service was incredible! Thanks!

Had an amazing night on Monday. Came in with a group of people to enjoy soem food and drinks and we were amazed with everything. We had Britney as our server and she was so attentive and sweet! Food came out fast, drinks were quick too. Everything was clean in the resturant.
Music was a little loud, but so our group so it was okay. Manager even came up to us to ask how everything was at one point, he was super sweet and seemed to care a lot about all the customers in the resturant.
Will definatly be coming back and hope to have the same server again!

Stopped by Shoeless Joe's for my first dine in experience since the pandemic and I want to take this as a moment to give an amazing shout-out to our server Brittany. She was able to explain all the health and safety steps that the establishment was taking to ensure we felt at ease during our dining experience. She also always made sure we had everything we needed even during a busy Friday night and was one of the most attentive servers I’ve had.

Britney the server was amazing! She turned a bad situation into a good one, going that extra step to make sure that her customers let happy. So because of how wonderful Britney is, I'll definitely go back.

1st time there.and the last.told waitress there was no soap in mens bathroom. 1/2 hour later.still no soap. DURING COVID.ordered small draft for $5.99.but bill came back with large draft for $8.00, even though i was given a small. CHECK YOUR BILL. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF, manager is clueless.left no tip.won t be back

My boyfriend and I came here last week for a last minute date night and had one of the best experiences with the server named Mikayla. I usually don't write reviews but she had a positive impact on us that I thought id share. She checked on us multiple times and made sure we had everything we needed. Drinks were refilled without us even asking which definitely showed she cared. She gave us a couple of suggestions to eat because we are both indecisive when it comes to eating, turned out to be amazing food. Will be going back after this experience and hope to get her as our server again.

I went to shoeless joes this past weekend and wow what an amazing experience I had. The food and drinks were great but the best part of my experience was our waitress. Her name is Brittany! She was so kind and enthusiastic while serving us. I haven't been to shoeless joes before and she had the best recommendations for me and knew the menu very well! She served us in such a timely manner too! Overall Brittany made our shoeless joes experience very comfortable, fun and we will definitely be coming back for more! I hope I get her again as a server. 10/10 would recommend!

I had Brit on Monday and she was absolutely amazing. She was so personal and sweet and I will tell everyone I know to make Shoeless Joe's their spot for dinner! I've been in before and it wasn't the best experience but Brit made it spectacular this time.

Was in with some friends this weekend and sat on the awesome patio upstairs. The vibe was great and our server Valentina was even greater. She knew exactly when to check in on us and the service was great. Very professional. 10/10 and will be back.

Awesome service! Had an amazing time stopping by for a couple of apps to share with friends. Shoutout to our server Julia and the manager Tom for seating us and anticipating our every need. Will definitely be recommending for a fun night out with friends to hang out or watch a game.

Me and my boyfriend had an amazing experience. Our server was Brittany and she is absolutely amazing, and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed, and made us feel like we were part of the Shoeless Joe's family. Best service we have ever received! Can't wait to go back and have Brittany again.

When you love a restaurant  so much that back to back visits are a must, that all Birthdays must be celebrated  there and that weekly visits have become routine you need to tell the world about them!

So without further ado. Here is your Shoeless Joes low-down

Shoeless  has an amazing patio that is a must try. The best and largest in the Hammer. If you are dining on a patio this Summer this is the one to dine on!

Interior is just as great. Booths are spacious, large screen tv's all around. Sports ticker with all the scores. A sports lovers dream. Not into sports; no biggie this place is Awesome.   You will love it!

Menu is great. Lots of choice. Ribs, Hamburgers Flatbread, pasta they are all there; best of all your taste buds will love you because the food is  sooo good. Dessert is heavenly with the Godiva Chocolate cheesecake and the Ultimate Cookie. These two really take the cake. Portions are big so bring your appetite and prices are great so your wallet will thank you.

Service gets two thumbs up and is a winner in my books! I always feel I'm taken to my table, served and delivered my meal in a timely manner even on the busiest of nights. Servers are great, friendly and efficient.   While the GM/Managers  always checkin to ensure everything is to your liking.

Covid Safety Protocols are fully enforced with socially distanced tables, markings on the floors, hand sanitizer upon entry and staff wearing masks around the restaurant. Guest masking rules are enforced  as well.

With all these  precautions you know that your health and safety is taken seriously when you dine here.

With a bday celebration last week and our weekly visit this week we wanted to send out a special thanks to Tom the owner and GM. He took care of us on both evenings, checked on us repeatedly  and did everything he could to make both our evenings special.   I have never experienced this type of service anywhere. Thanks you so much Tom!

Also a shout out to Dana the hostess who greeted us upon our arrival, held the door open for us and is always very friendly whenever she sees us.

Always a great way to begin and end an awesome evening out. Can't wait to come back this week!

Our waitress BRITTANY was phenomenal. She was so nice and fun! When we weren’t sure of what to order she would make great suggestions and her suggestions tasted awesome. Hopefully when we go back we have her as our waitress. YOU GO GIRL!

Brittany at Shoeless Joes in Hamilton served our group of 40 people in record time following our soccer tournament. Amazing service. Koltan made sure all our orders were prepared ahead of time so we didn’t have to wait long. They went out of there way to provide exceptional service. Highly recommend.

My partner and I had a terrible experience here. Right from the beginning the hostess was extremely rude, not even saying hello before basically telling us they don't want our service. We got seated at the bar right beside the stairs, when there was plenty of room around the bar. We considered walking out before we even saw our server, and we should have.

Our server, who was the bartender took nearly 15 minutes to get to us, another 15 to bring our drinks and my partner sat for the entire meal without anything else to drink. All while the two gents beside us got seated and served their drinks within 5 minutes (they had a different server). We had to ask a host for our bill as he was walking by, because our waving hands couldn't get the attention of any of the 4 servers standing around at the bar, socializing.

I hope BOH staff of this particular shoeless Joe's gets a good tip out, because the service we saw was just atrocious.

On top of the poor service, no mask regulation was happening. Guests were walking all over the restaurant without them and no one seemed to care or even notice.

Sad that on our first outing to a public restaurant, we received a "very dirty " wine glass and to my surprise not only was the staff not surprised but the solution was pouring that wine from the soiled glass into another.so called "clean glass ". Trying to support local businesses will be tough if they thrown away the foundation of customer service.

Staff were all so nice.
My friend and I came for lunch with our new babies.
I asked the server if there was an elevator for our strollers because we wanted to sit upstairs on the nice patio.
Her and another staff member helped us carry our strollers up the stairs while we carried our babies safely upstairs.
My server was so nice when I asked for little scoops of ice cream for our babies.
Food and drinks above our expectations and overall good experience.

I hadn't been back here in a few years after two subpar experiences however, the food and service today was outstanding! I would've given it 5 stars but the portion sizes were a little smaller than expected for the price. Regardless of that, I will definitely be going back again sooner than the last time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice restaurant/patio experience.

The most pathetic order of nachos I've ever seen. It was like a sample, I ended up making dinner afterwards because of the teeny tiny portion size.
