Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill

I’m not one to write reviews and I do apologize for this, but the food was not prepared well at all. Both my partner and I had a hard time enjoying the food, there were people arguing with one another and a fight was close to happening. There was only 1 server who was doing everything on her own and cudos to her for holding it down.

Just a poor experience overall.

Had to ask 3x to put on Leafs game. Waited 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge
Me on a NON BUSY sat night.waited another 15 min for tenders.will find another place to watch Leafs game

Last week Saturday my co workers and I decided to eat here after bowling. I wish we would have looked at the reviews before coming here. I can see why they have a 3.6. This was one of the worst experiences I had at a restaurant.
The server wasn't pleasant. We would ask her a questions, she would answer an run off, not waiting for our response. Throughout the evening she hardly checked in on us, and we were not offered or given water. Next the food: The wait time to get our food was horrible. We waited for our food for a long time. We were a table of 8. The server came with 2 dishes, 15-20 mins 2 more dishes, 15-20 mins the rest. No explanation as to why we waited so long or apology. 2 or 3 of my co workers ordered the goat cheese burger. They took one bite and that was it for them. They said it was not edible. I ordered half rack of ribs, mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Coleslaw was ok but the ribs and mashed potatoes.horrible.it was lacking in seasoning. The mashed potatoe tasted like it came from a package, no butter, salt, etc. The ribs were light in colour, hardly any bbq sauce, lacking in flavour. I had eaten to pieces of the ribs and that was it for me. The others said their food was ok. I will say the nachos (appetizer) was the only thing I can say tasted good. We complained to the manager Ronnie. He said he would discuss it and come back. First off, any manager I have dealt with was able to make a descion on the spot. Ronnie came back 20 minutes later. No charge for the burgers which was obvious and my food 10% off. That was crazy for two bites of horrible ribs and mashed potatoes. After complaining he took off 20%. Still not right but I paid and he said we didn't have to pay the tip for having a party of 8.
I don't know if I would go to another Shoeless Joe's location but I definitely not go back or recommend this location!

Cold beer, great Nachos, and Julie was the best with a welcome smile and hello. There is plenty of sport on all the screens and sport minded customers. Family and friend's with a warm atmosphere. CHEERS

The first time at the restaurant. The moment of entering, to being seated at a reserved area (because of team bonding and hangout time before a game), till leaving was a very appreciated experience. The food was great, the service was also good. I recommended going back again in the future.

Amazing food and drinks, we ordered nachos, buffalo cauliflower, margarita and moscow mule. Staff was super friendly and ambience is great with lot of TVs for a sport night. Would definitely recommend this place.

This is my second time at this location, let me tell you if I wanted to drink an eat my food in a freezer I would have, it's 22 Celsius outside with a cool wind and inside was very uncomfortable having to eat an drink with my jacket on its not pleasant, my husband had ask for the air to be adjusted they did then next thing you know the air is back on, when we go out we like to enjoy ourselves we do not like to be sitting in a freezer very uncomfortable an unpleasant we will not be returning, we want to enjoy ourselves not having to rush out from a freezer.

So not usually one to make post like this but this is the first time I've been to this location of shoeless joes and have to say the service was terrible I asked for the drink menus and they have the appy place that's state $5 dollar domestic beer and $5 mixed drinks I went to order a mix drink and was told the owner told the server that they cant do that and cooperate is the one who put that in place but wasn't aloud $5 mixed drink when it's right on there menu plus the fine print says nothing about not being available just don't understand why you have a drink menus with $5 mixed drink but when someone ask you turn them down and say it a lie and they can't do that then charge you $9 full price for a mixed drink is just ridiculous corporate put this deal in place and then owner goes behind there back and tell servers to not honor the $5 mixed drink when it's on there menu then when asked to talk to manager or the owner was told he's never in and that not aloud just sad sad customer service also i gave them the benefit and went to a different shoeless joes and they served the $5 mix drinks so not sure what going on in thus location but is not legit and make up lies and will never be comming back or recommend this place to anyone just crazy experience still trying to get a hold of owner and servers tell me they can't do anything snd owner isn't in.take you business elsewhere

Sat there for 25mins didn’t even bother to come and say ‘we’ll take your order shortly’. The place was so unclean.

Food is surprisingly good here for a sports pub. I had this steak bowl. Lots of TVs, nice looking ladies serving beer and food. Owners seem to be on top of things here so no complaints. It’s a good place for teams, casual food, or just a beer stop.

Stopped in to have a pint of beer and a quick snack. Restaurant very clean washrooms very clean restaurant smelled good. Wasn't very busy because it's Sunday afternoon they had many sports on the TV. Exactly what I was looking for order some Deluxe fries I guess came loaded with ground beef and cheese and onions and all kinds of different things very flavorful very filling. Can't go wrong with draft beer service was great. I'd recommend it. Diverse menu. It's not a fine dining place but it's a great place to hang out with friends have a pint of beer watch some sports I'd go back!

Burgers look like they do in the picture! Unbelievable! Tasted great too. Shrimp noodle bowl is too sweet and very wet, almost like pho. Wings are ok, sauces is weak but for $15.99 for a pound, absolutely not worth it.

Got the penne sausage pasta. Sausage used was not good, tasted like hot dog. They need to use Italian sausage. Would not recommend it.

Nice place to watch the game. Many tvs as well as a big screen. Servers were fast and friendly.

Waited 40 minutes just for water. Then our server completely forgot about us. Worst service I've ever gotten. Never coming back

I had the wings and fries. They were good, standard, nothing special. My buddy on the other hand got a raw burger, sent it back and it took like 15 mins to bring a new one, and by that time he had already finished fries. The first round of beers we got was great, cold Heinekens, the 2nd round was absolutely flat. I dont know. All I know is I'm probably never stepping foot in this location every again.

Worst resto chain. They don't respond to there company resto eedback forms and emails at all. Worst resto experience we had. The only thing they care about and respond to is after the fact when you have no choice but to write a well deserved bad review! There menu items is absolute garbage low quality and overpriced.

Always had a good time visiting here the chicken wings are out of this world highly recommended pretty cool spot

Apparently on a Saturday at dinner time they only have one person working the whole restaurant so we didn't even get a table

I recently visited Shoeless Joe's - Esplanade and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with plenty of TVs to watch all the latest sports games. The staff was friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed.
