Use to frequent this location but likely won’t be back. Their heat is constantly broken, we booked a party and they were out of multiple staples that were to be included such as coffee, women's washroom out of service, men’s washroom dirty. Food was ok but very cold, service slow but ok, definitely a lack of management support for staff.
Food was delicious and Service was perfect! Pricing however is on the higher side for a lunch menu options. Maybe some specials would help out with that. Overall i enjoyed my lunch and will be back another day.
This is by far the nicest shoeless joes I’ve ever been in. The food was fantastic and the blonde bartender Kate was great! She was funny and really elevated our whole experience. Can’t wait to come back
Besides the restaurant being freezing cold, which made the food somewhat cold. I thought we could share our latest experience at Shoeless Joes on Brant St.

We went out for dinner last night with family to Shoeless Joes on Brant St. I Ordered a burger and a beer. When that arrived I kindly asked for a side of mayonnaise for my burger. Our waitress left and came back shortly afterwards to advise me that if I still wanted my side of mayonnaise, there was a $2.00 charge for it, as per management! We found this ridiculous. Won’t be back any time soon.
Brutal experience at this once great location. Food was terrible, beer was flat and overpriced and they brought another pitcher which was just as flat and cool at most. Long wait for menus which they couldn’t find at first and 55min for food that was overcooked and cold most likely from sitting on the warmer for too long. Manager said sorry but didn’t mean it and we could tell by his disgruntled attitude. It certainly wasn’t busy but try and flag the waitress down. 10 minutes before we saw her again. 0 stars for this restaurant and I promise we will NEVER visit that place again. Don’t waste your time or money. Find a restaurant that has a clue about what is supposed to be going on.
Appetizer came with meal. Ribs and both french fries were cold. If only the server and cook knew the difference between a wing and tendie. Server even came back to ask what sauce for the wings and yet he gets tendies. The limp salad had a weird taste to it! Servers were socializing in groups. Overall experience was just horrible. We will not be visiting this establishment in the very near future.
PSA: EVERYONE TAKE A LOOK AT THESE PICTURES! - do not order at this restaurant unless you enjoy consuming human pubic hair.
I ordered “crispy buttermilk chicken tenders”, and while I was ALREADY EATING the tenders I noticed a long black hair on the side of the container that they came in. This prompted me to further inspect the order with a flashlight, and to my surprise, underneath all of the tenders there was a disgustingly large amount of hairs all throughout the food. Long and short / black and brown hairs. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THAT THIS WAS ACCIDENTAL. If it was one hair, maybe. But this is an entire DISH of hair. Talk about food contamination! WHILE I GO MAKE MYSELF THROW UP & BLEACH MY ESOPHAGUS— please fire whatever kitchen staff made this food. THIS IS ALSO NOT THE FIRST TIME I HAVE ORDERED HERE AND FOUND HAIR IN MY FOOD!
Decided to visit Saturday night before going to movies. Wine glass had lipstick so asked if I could have a clean one, told our server we were also ready to order. Got the wine but never saw our server again and all others refused to make eye contact. Didn't get to eat. Another 15 minutes we asked for the bill that took another 15. Thanks for making our first and last visit a horrible experience. Guess we should have read the reviews.
Cant even review the food at this restaurant as we never even got to sit down. Went in on Friday night (1st Friday after new years). When we walked in there was a couple ahead of us waiting to be seated. We were a table of 4 (2 couples). After about 5 minutes they were seated and no one acknowledged us also waiting (not even a "hello, we will be right with you"). The restaurant was not busy at all. We watched one server clean a table for about 5 minutes across the room. Other servers walked past us and NOTHING. We finally left after 15 minutes of being ignored and drove to Turtle Jacks where we had amazing service and amazing food and drinks with a bill of about 250$. Your loss Shoeless! Seems like based on other reviews you lack on training customer service which I feel is the most important for a successful restaurant.
Food isn't great. Ordered some prawns and those were not cooked properly and covered in loads of breadcrumbs. Service was okay but I'll let that slide considering it was game night and very busy. Staff was very friendly.
Dined in today for lunch. Server at the bar was very friendly and got us out drinks quickly. I ordered the ribs with tenders and fries. It took about 10 minutes to come out and when I got it, the ribs were cold. I really didn’t want to make a big deal out of it as I HATE sending things back, but I didn’t get quality checked at all throughout the course of the meal. By the time the fries and chicken were done I sat with it for about 10 minutes before the server asked to bring the bills. When I was about to pay I reluctantly let her now that the ribs were cold. She apologized and told me she would see about a discount - I got 25% comp’d but the ribs weren’t brought back. My only beef with this (no pun intended) is that I was charged 32 dollars for ribs and tenders, only ate the tenders and fries and didn’t get the ribs at all… 25% off of the meal still didn’t bring me to par with the chicken tenders and fries price… this was my third time at this location and based on my wait times prior and then this experience I don’t think I will be back other than for a quick drink.
