Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill

No way in hell those burgers are made with fresh ground chuck. They must have come from the Superstore next door. TV in the main bar was so loud you could barely hear anyone at the table. Overall, very disappointing.

Shoeless Joe Upper James is my favorite place to have delicious food and fun. The service is always unique. No need to recommend it because it is always full. In my last visits I had to wait 15 minutes to get vacant table. In conclusion Shoeless is an excellent restaurant. I love ️ it.

My fiancé and I came here to eat while we were waiting for to check-in to our AirBNB and honestly this is one of the BEST experiences that we have had, going to ANY restaurant in the GTA. The owner was so polite and even checked up on us when she didn’t have to. Then the server, Ciara, was always available if we had any questions, or concerns. She was understanding when I lost something valuable and honestly was very empathetic when it came to giving me time to order and I’ve NEVER had that as a restaurant experience and neither has my fiancé. And when our Uber ride took longer than expected they didn’t kick us out, they worked with us and both the owner and the server made sure that both myself and my fiancé were comfortable and safe during this time. Which is ANOTHER experience we we’ve never had. 10/10 Recommended!

The service here is great! I visited with my nephews and the server was awesome with them. We really enjoyed our meal.

Servers were mostly nice but it took quite a time to get food and drinks even if not crowded. Quality of food was really disappointing.

False advertising, there was no DJ on Friday night, nice try luring people in. Plastic shot glasses when the place is empty, dry chicken sandwich, Moscow mule in a jar was terrible. Why do we have to watch CBC news at 1am on a Friday night in a bar on the big screens? Standards are super low here, it's unfortunate. It explains the lack of customers, a place like this should be packed on a Friday night. Disappointing.

The excuse you just provided for last minute cancelation is not the truth. Your staff clearly said there is no DJ every Friday, maybe once a month. At least be truthful with the customers.

Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She has served us numerous times for lunch

White guy GM he is very rude we were using washroom and when i came back to my table he asked my wife to come with her in private place to talk and i now i got divorce because of shoeless joe GM white guy my life ruined because of one person what’s my mistake i came to eat at shoeless joe don’t please come here if you want to save your relationship he do these things with every girl there

I had a very nice experience at shoeless Joe's last night in Milton. The service was amazing, cozy environment and the food hats off to the chef in the kitchen great job. My girlfriend and I was very pleased.

Just there for some drinks and snacks but they looked after us super well. Great spot. Will be back.

this was before covid to clear things up, you guys have really changed it since my last review.iv gone 10times during the covid period and even last week, staff is respectful, always open to giving you the best experience possible and the whole restaurant is spotless, love the food and they use the qr code for menu's which in my opinion is the safest way to order, considering no one uses your phone but yourself

Very good experience overall. Went there to go get some work done and the waitress was accommodating helped me get power for my laptop and seated a few people that came in a little farther away from me. Food and beers where good. All COVID Protocols where followed, felt very safe.

I give a 1 star rating just because the waitress was polite and the establishmentis clean. Ate here numerous times only because my partner enjoyed their wings.but regardless what we order off the menu, it's been nothing but disgusting! Yesterday I ordered fish and chips for my daughter and as you can see in the pic, this is what we got which is the fries and which is the fish? Just terrible food all the time. Spent $130 and half the food was trash, chef skills are terrible, no flavour, burnt meals, etc. It's like we could've just walked in, handed $130 over to them and just walk right back out. Never again

My son received a RAW hamburger in which they said they'd remake but that would take 15 minutes. My husband then gave my son his food as he was too hungry to wait. 2/3 of us did not get to eat what we ordered and yet all the server said was sorry about that. We would have appreciated better customer service given we were served raw meat.

Front row, best seat in the house for the UFC event! Not to mention that this is the ONLY place in town to be if you are a sports fan! Servers are incredible, they literally make you feel like family! The fish and chips are to die for, but I also wouldn't sleep on the sliders! Definitely the best sports bar in town! Shoeless Joe's is the place to be! Every night I come out, it feels like my home away from home!

I like this place generally. But on this visit it was as hot inside as it was outside. It's the summer for Pete's sake, time to set the air conditioner a little lower than 28! I feel like I am melting into the booth!

Hostess wasn't very friendly or happy, other restaurants were very happy and appreciative to see customers as they haven't had any on and off for over a year. Not sure if it's a Covid thing but we had to ask for salt & pepper and malt vinegar for fish and chips and Parmesan for pasta, usually they are automatically brought to the table or at least offered. Food was good, we will be going back for the Appy hour!

Amazing service always! I've been served by Rachelle, kelly and daan multiple times and I can't begin to describe how amazing the two of them are! They are honestly what's makes the experience aside from the amazing appy hour specials!

What used to be my go to place for fried calamari and crispy shrimp noodle bowl in Milton has gone down the drain over last few months

Amazing service and very friendly staff! Food was good I had the quesadillas and sweet potato fries! The tequila sangria is great too! Over all good experience here, would definitely come back:)

This spot is the one I always prefer. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very cordial and the cuisine they place on your table is so flavorful. I would always prefer to have a nice meal here. Highly recommended.

Raw Chicken Wings and diluted Drinks! I guess during the pandemic the owner is trying to save on costs. But hey your going to chase customers away in future if you do this! If your owning a Business.never sacrifice quality for quantity.

Huge props to this establishment who was the only bar in town to play the first Lakers game after the tragic death of Kobe Bryant. Although she was the only waitress/bartender this evening, Kelly (I think that was her name) was very helpful and showed compassion towards the situation with perfect service!

I was served with Ribs and they were delicious. Unfortunately my Wife ordered a Tuna Bowl and it said it had Quinoa but the bowl came without it? All in all the Service was very good and the food was tasty.

I had such a great time at Shoeless Joe’s (Milton). I came in because of the paint nite event happening on a Thursday, ended up eating their crispy shrimp noodles (as encouraged) and their pretzel bites (as recommended). I’d also like to personally thank miss Priscilla, my server, for doing a wonderful job. It was definitely delicious and a positive experience.

Very fast and friendly service with great food options and fair pricing. Bartender Kelly is exceptionally good at her job and fun to talk to. Overall great experience would go back again.

We came an hour before close with a party of 8. And my goodness waiter/bartender, Dan, was amazing. Welcoming. Efficient. Attendant. And had a great sense of humour! Perfect post theatre experience. Thank you Dan!

Not really sure what kind of tomahawk this is, but you are charging this as an entree, the portion of the meat is really disappointing, it was mostly fat, maybe %30 of it was meat. The appetizers were okay, portion wasn’t too small.

The ambience is good, big TV for watching sports, good service, some opportunities to improve food quality

Overpriced, small portions and not worth trying. Extremely dissappointed. I expressed my issue calmly with the owner as he was in the restaurant that evening. He didn't suggest any resolution and/or apology until I asked for their Head Office contact information.
The first and last time I will ever eat at Shoeless Joe's.

Our go-to restaurant for date night. My husband and I actually drive down from Mississauga. This location has great food and great service! The addition of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory is an added guilty pleasure. They’re able to accommodate both large groups and smaller ones well. They never rush you out and are always very friendly!

This was our first time here. $27.99 for the All Star platter, we expected much more, it was really disappointing. The spinach dip was dry, we got less than a handful of nachos and maybe 6 or 7 pieces of calamari. Short rib gnocchi was subpar, I couldn't eat more than two bites, the beef tasted old and had an after taste, gnocchi was just meh. I returned it and they at least took it off our bill. On a positive note, we had a great waitress.

Didn't meet my expectations. The place was not clean. There was leftover traces of food on the bar and stools. The wings are very small. The calamari was more dough than calamari and very oily. I don't think I'll go there again. They definitely need to improve.

Opinion around the table was food was average. Sangria was excellent. Asked if I wanted cheese on my bread without mentioning a charge. Then come to find to be charged when receiving my bill - hate when they do that!

Our server Kelly was amazing! Very attentive and addressed my 5 yr old grandson directly about his choices n options. Food was great too! Much better now that it has a new owner. ;-)

Great place to come with friends and family. I’ve been coming here frequently for Summer2019 and I can tell you about some of my favourite menu items. The wings are incredible, lumber jack burger, southwest salad and my latest favourite.the California wrap! The service is always fast and friendly and they have $4 domestic pints every day! Would definitely recommend for anyone in the Milton area:) keep up the good work Shoeless Joes Milton!

Had a great time. Very impressed with the kind and helpfull staff. Served us promptly but still gave us our privacy.

Been a few times now and not overly impressed with food. Last visit i found Caesar was dry, buffalo chicken wrap bland. Burgers were decent, fish and chips were good. Haven't had anything that was outstanding.

Out of Coors Light, out of coolers, took an hour to get our food. TVs are terrible and some don't even work properly. Find somewhere better

Today I wanted to get some great tastes in my mouth.

I decided to go to Shoeless Joe’s because I remembered there food was great.

I can no say the nachos are one of the best that I’ve had in a while.

This location was comfortable. The servers are attentive, quick, and kind.

Overall great place. You should definitely go to this location to try them out.

Shoeless Joe to me is the best franchise bar in Milton big screen and good customer service everytime

This location will do you well for a quick bite, I wouldn't recommend having a large group (anything more than 6). The reason I say that is it is not a high traffic location so they are not staffed for large groups, it was either the GM or Owner that had to help our waitress serve the food because she was the only one in the dining room (or at least she was the only one dressed like she worked in the dining room). This obviously resulted in a subpar experience as far as the service goes which is no fault of the waitress. The wings were great and will go back for those.

Love their $4 draft deal. The lumberjack burger was a treat. Our server was also good. Awesome place with good food. Will be back.

Food was sub par. We went with a group of 6 people and everyone had something to complain about. Hair on my wings, missing all the fixings on the ceasar drink, duck wings dry as hell, burger missing all fixings, gnocchi had zero seasoning, wings were just ugh. Only go for the apps and drinks if anything. Cauliflower bites are the best thing we had. Our actual server was not good but the expediter who served our food was accomadating.

Under staffed when we were there. Took forever - and they missed all the sauce on my wrap, also missed some of our extras. No cutlery - asked 2 times. No napkins. Asked 2 times. Meh. Wrap was very very sub-par.

We visited this place on May 12 2019, Mother's day. This place has changed alot from my last visit. Service is a lot better than before. Servers were friendly and fast. We ordered The beyond meat burger, deep fried pickle, Hand stretched flat bread and Spinach Artichoke & goat cheese dip. Everything was great. Bar was good. Had lots of fun watching Raptors game. Will definitely visit this place again.

Service is so slow. Two tables around us actually got up and left because no one ever came to take their order. We ordered two burgers and waited 55 minutes for them. Then when we were done it took another 45 minutes to come clear our plates and bring the bill. It should not take 2 hours to go out for a burger. If you visit Shoeless Joe’s make sure you leave lots of time.

I gave only 2 stars because even though the food was good the prices were a little high for the food and the menu is very limited.

Our server was excellent, but the manager who was sat at a table in the restaurant was not. I asked our server to put on a sporting event that had just begun, and saw our server go ask the manager, and him declining for reasons I do not know (he didn't realize I could see him from our table.or didn't care).

Server came back and said they can't get the event. I explained that she was not correct and gave the exact channel. She went back to the manager, he seemed disgruntled, so after a long delay and the event being 10min in, he gave the actual manager permission to put the event on. Too late. My family (5 of us) and I already decided to leave.

He wasn't the manager, but the franchise owner! I asked the server before my family and I left the restaurant, because he got up and left with an entitled walk before I left.

Since then, I've never returned to that Shoeless Joe's, but I've seen that same owner outside smoking when I visit my bank or other stores in that mall. When ownership changes, I'll go back.

We go to Boston Pizza, Turtle Jacks or Lone Star instead now.

We visited Shoeless Joes in Milton on Family Day. When we ordered we were told they had no tomatoes as they were waiting for the truck. I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap knowing that there would be no tomatoes. It came and had no sauce on the chicken - the waitress noticed and added a pot of sauce on the side. We also ordered the crispy shrimp noodle dish. It looked like it had been thrown together - no onions or basil to be seen. Very disappointing!

The place is good for hangouts with buddies and enjoy sports. I ordered the fish tacos and they were not bad, cosmo cheesecake is something you everyone should try. Overall its a nice place to enjoy sports with friends.
