Shoppers Drug Mart

This is only about the pharmacy. I've had nothing but issues filling my daughters medication. I call and call, they don't get it nor call me to tell me they haven't gotten ahold of my Dr. I advise them how many days left she has, as she can not stop taking this medication due to complications. I also ask them to only fill a bit at a time and ill come get the rest, but they wont, as starts to dissolve, i went to another pharmacy and they advised it from being put in the wrong bottle. The staff is lovely, the owner is a nightmare. Always giving attitude on the phone when i ask to give the temp medication as the refill doesn't come in. She's rude and condescending, she said "you can go to a walk in, or pay 15$ for 3 pills
I wont be giving you more" again, she cannot stop this medication.

Possibly the world’s dumbest assistant manager. Yesterday I was shopping with my wife at the mall and she had to run in and pick up a few things.

I purchased something at self checkout and put it in my shopping bag.

My wife came up to self checkout and I start helping her check out.

At this point the assistant manager is hovering behind me watching. Out of the blue he goes “did you pay for that? ” Pointing at the item in my other bag.

Hey no problem I think. Loss prevention is part of their job and he’s probably just asking. I tell him “yep I came through the checkout just a minute ago”.

He completely ignores me, comes up into my face and starts saying “well what did you do it in the back? ”

No bro, I literally just did it three seconds ago WITH YOUR CASHIER WATCHING ME. I showed him my receipt and he immediately just starts walking away waving his hands saying “I don’t care I don’t need to see that”.

If you’re going to accuse me of stealing a $1.36 pez dispenser, and I give you an explanation, why would you walk away when I tried proving to you that I didn’t steal?

Again, loss prevention is part of your job but I tried TWICE to give an explanation and prove that I bought it.

I’m was bewildered that a 16 year old assistant store manager would have thought that I would steal a pez dispenser of all things. It sounds like this isn’t the first time that this manager has profiled customers.

I’ve already left a complaint with both Shoppers and Loblaw corporate.

Family member went to store to return an item as it was defected. Manager or supervisor blamed it on them saying it was their fault that it was like that (which is untrue - they bought multiple of the same item and only that one was defected, how could that be?), and would not accept the return.
Speaking objectively, they said that it couldn't be exchanged because it was past 7 days, but on the reciept it clearly says within 30 days. How can you argue with a customer about that? Lol.

The pharmacist, Natalie, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Though she couldn’t fulfill our needs entirely due to stock, she checked all the other boxes for customer service!

My experience with the pharmacy and cosmetics has been excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

It’s unfortunate that each time we come to this shoppers the pharmacy has the wrong form of medication. Brand and makeup was changed with no information given to me. I have now been waiting 5 days for a medication I require daily. I would not recommend this shoppers, they don’t seem to understand the importance of what “daily” medication means.

Came in on Friday. Clara (I think was her name, older woman) was giving everyone in line attitude for wanting to cash out with an actual person rather then self checkout. After making us wait for 5+ minutes, she proceed to rudely question every customer whether they were paying cash or not. If you’re not paying cash - check out yourself. If it were me, I’d assume people can see the self checkout kiosks in front of them and decided against it.
Won’t be back to this location, I’d gladly drive out of my subdivision rather then deal with people who have no regard for customer service skills.

I am very disappointed in the pharmacy staff.
In less than one year I was given three new medications that were not checked for drug interactions. Each of the three new medications had drug interactions with my current medications. The first two times I was in tremendous pain for days due to the interaction. The third time I was given my new medication with no information sheet. So I went home and looked up the new medication and it had drug interactions with my current medications. Therefore no one in the pharmacy checked for any interactions! This could have been very serious or even fatal.
The pharmacist is certainly NOT doin a thorough job at all!

Today I had the best experience ever. Came to buy Clarins Oil for my sister. Beauty’s department adviser Kristal was absolutely amazing, she helped me with all my needs, was extremely nice, professional and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service. People like her will change the world. Thanks so much Kristal for making my day even more shinier:)

Krystal is the best! She is EXTREMELY knowledgable on the products! Cannot wait to try everything she recommended! She is always cheerful and very approachable! Keep it up girl!

Disappointed: (Had my makeup done there for my small wedding. I just wanted something soft, a pale pink. I even showed her a picture of how light I wanted it. And my blemishes hidden for photos. I left with BLACK EYESHADOW. It took nearly 2 hours and all she did was my eyeshadow and lashes with some foundation that didn’t cover my blemishes. She didnt even do my eyebrows or bottom eyelids. I didn’t see it until it was done and by then I had run out of time. So I couldn’t ask her to fix it. I was worried I’d be there another 2 hours. All I could do was run home as soon as I could since I was already late for my wedding and wipe all the dark off.

Pharmacy staff is always pleasant and helpful. Good selection. Great customer service from employees.
