I don't know know how busy the other pharmacies in town are, but Shoppers is just too busy. There is always a long line up at the pick up counter. It looks pretty chaotic behind the cashier's desk - stacks of prescriptions everywhere! They always seem to find mine without difficulty. Once you get to the counter, the experience improves.
On another note, great shopping deals on seniors' day, and they always honour their rain cheques.

This pharmacy is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to! Having a doctor send over a prescription, calling to have the prescription filled means absolutely nothing to them. When you arrive to get your prescription, prepare to be told its not ready and to wait anywhere between 30 minutes to 1.5 hrs or they will simply tell you it will be ready the next day.

The icing on the cake was when I called to have them fill a script for an epi pen. I called 6 or so hours before they closed but I guess that was too late for them. My life saving medication would not be ready until the following day. Keep in mind they simply have to pull it off a shelf and slap a sticker on it.

I am sure they could care less about this review as they seem to have enough business. Having said that, I am hoping others avoid this place and go somewhere else that offers better service.

We are lucky to have the cosmetics department in this store. There is a very good selection in all price ranges - rare in a small town. The customer service at the cosmetics counter is excellent and they are always willing to provide useful information about a product. Special thanks to Jennifer and Sherry. Both incredibly knowledgeable, professional and helpful employees.

Terrible service by the cashier. Acknowledged my wife and then proceeded to completely ignore her and serve the 2 people behind her. My wife then went to use self checkout as a result. Supervisor had the nerve to call her rude after she voiced her concerns about how she was served/treated. Never shopping here again. Thank God our prescriptions are filled elsewhere. This cashier and manager need some serious re-training in the customer service field.

I could give them a negative review, I would. Their service in the pharmacy is an absolute joke. Even though I have my doctors fax my prescription into them, I have to call to get them to fill it, I have to call to make sure it’s actually ready, I still wait in a huge line to get it, and even then, I get told it’s not ready. I’ve been called the wrong name, several times, even though stating I’m transgender, I’ve been treated with more disrespect than I ever have, being in public, and what’s worse, they LAUGH when you walk away. Avoid at all costs, I’m personally changing my accounts to cowards pharmacy, and anyone that wants to get into a lawsuit, contact me, Ryan Heckford, because I’m filing one, and reporting to the better business bureau for misconduct.

Pls visit the beauty counter at your next visit as you will be amazed by the expertise and service that the ladies there offer. I went to buy some beauty products and asked for assistance to help me figure out what works best with my skin type. I ended up meeting Chelsea the most talented makeup artist. She told me about many programs that Shoppers offers and I ended up booking a makeup appointment. (Makeup sessions are free if you purchase beauty products of $60.). Chelsea made me look beautiful for my daughter’s wedding. Stop by next time and have a chat. You may learn something new and fun like I did. Thanks so much for making my bday so special. Beata

The absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been too. Beyond disappointed, when you have unhealthy kids the last thing you need to deal with is pharmacy problems. Hospital life and healthcare yes, that’s when you need your patience, but once you’ve been connected and on route to healing the last thing you need is a 2 hour wait for basic meds, or meds on backstock, or the worst waiting line, or missing components to your order etc. NOT ONCE have I been to this pharmacy without having a bad experience.

Maybe I’m from a big city and am not used to low stock and larger buildings, but either way, something needs to change with their system.

Very poor experience here today at the pharmacy counter. Came in looking to fill a very common antibiotic for my 4 year old. Was abruptly told they don't have it, no explanation. Walked to Walmart, they at least explained it was backordered, and to try Coward PharmaChoice.

Experience at Coward pharmacy was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Take note Shoppers - Coward called all other pharmacies in town, without luck, THEN called the hospital for a substitute and they filled it within minutes. This is amazing customer service, they have my business for life!

Booked a rapid Covid test through the shoppers website. Showed up and was told they don’t do those. Pharmacy assistants did not ask the pharmacist, just insisted they couldn’t do it until I showed a screenshot of the booking. Then they asked the pharmacist and she said yes we can do it. Then through the entire 40 minute interaction they tried to suggest I was wrong about the kind of test I needed. I have never felt so condescended to in my life. Will never come back for anything!

Made an appointment for a flu shot at 11: 20 am. Arrived on time and was told to take a seat. There were no seats available but at least a dozen people ahead of me and no one giving shots. Why make appointments and not keep to them. These were senior flu shots and seniors waiting. Because of my health issues I am unable to stand for any length of time and had to leave before any shots were given.

Went in this afternoon to transfer my prescriptions from another Shoppers to the Tillsonburg store. Had my licence ready for the attendant, gave her my phone number and then told her which Shoppers I was coming from. She asked me the phone number of the other store which I did not know and her reply in a snarky tone was “ well I don’t know the number”!
I looked at her for about 5 seconds and then took my license and said never mind.
With some of the highest dispensing fees and you can’t look up the number?
Great service, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Time to move away from Loblaw brands!

Don't go to any shoppers drug mart if you need any help even if it for cancer meds also don't have any benefits at all they rather see us suffer then help you they won't helped you even if it only until.you get your money. At the end of the month and the meds I needs aren't even for pain no one cares about the little people I don't know how.the world turn out like this but it' really sad they only care about the all mighty dollar from the government

Visited the store Dec 23rd, looking for particular stocking stuffers for my wife's stocking. Approached the cosmetic dept for help and was greeted with a big smile by an employee named Emma.wow this employee was fantastic, super friendly, very helpful and a complete pleasure to deal with.
Shoppers Drug Mart.you have a keeper there.

Some of the ladies here are SO rude! Every time I go to get my prescription filled it is minimum a 45 minute wait. Today I went and the lady was implying I was a liar. I had to tell her about 6 times that my prescription is covered. She says no it is not. I’ve been on it for 5 years and never had to pay as I am under 25 so I am pretty sure I know. She then proceededs to print a sheet off that shows that I “paid” last month in which I did not. We were both getting frustrated going back and forth so she finally goes and gets another lady who explained that yes it is covered but they just decided to switch me to a non-generic brand since the generic brand had been on back order. No one decides to tell me this and just switches my prescription without my consent! They finally just give me the generic stuff and of course I had to wait 30 minutes for it to be filled. Very unprofessional and left frustrated due to the service of the first lady insinuating I was a liar. Avoid at all costs.

The girls in the makeup/hair section are always so amazing! I was recommended by a friend to buy hair/makeup products at Walmart in Tillsonburg as they're cheaper, however I will continue to go there as the girls in that section are always so nice and helpful! Answer all my questions, and provide fantasic answers and recommendations.

Evening staff in Pharmacy needs to look at the “pick up” desk A LOT more then they do. I was in there this evening and I waited 30 mins in the pick up line just for someone to notice I was even there. This wasn’t the first time this has happened to me and I’m sure it’s happened to others. Please pay attention to the front too!

They kept giving me generic pills I didn't request. When I requested non-generic and was willing to pay for but kept filling the generic pills for me only and wouldn't listen to what I requested. This is why I give it 1 star.

Shoppers Drug Mart Tillsonburg is terrible ever since the previous owner/pharmacist left. Prescription mix ups, waiting days to get prescriptions and denials they had faxes from doctors office, which had been faxed days before, and confirmed by doctor's office.twice. These problems have been ongoing. Horrible customer service. Changed to a different pharmacy and my dad's as well. Sad, sad, excuse for a pharmacy. Also, as a bonus, their prescription medications are marked up substantially compared to other pharmacies.

I’m a long time customer, Moved away but my doctor is still in tillsonburg, So I stayed with this pharmacy. I have chronic back pain and I went in today to get my prescription which it said was automatically filled. I’m on two different prescriptions of hydromorphone and it fills one and not the other. When I asked her about it (so I can understand what is happening) she says it’s because it’s a narcotic, but so is the other. She says it will not fill that one. But it sometimes fills both for me, that’s why I was confused. She says “no it didn’t “, I said yes it did, again she says “no it didn’t “. We do this back and forth like 4 times. She was calling me a liar. How insulting! And this whole time I’m standing there in pain because my back while she insults me, but I have no Choice because I need my medication. I will be going somewhere else from now on.

Picked up my prescription today for prolia which is a calcium shot that I get twice a year. When I go it I took it to the doctor's office and when they nurse opened it (carefully, I watched) she noticed that although it is preloaded, the needle at the end was crocked. She did not like the look of it and so I took it back to the pharmacy and gave it back to one of the pharmacists. He took it and walked away and came back to tell me it looked fine to him. Two nurses looked at it in the doctor's office and noticed it was crocked and so did I. I told him I needed it replaced. He said he would have to call the doctor's office and it would take awhile. I said I wanted to get that shot today and could he hurry. He went away and another pharmacist came over and said "do you know this is a $400 dollar shot". I told her I didn't care because it is faulty. She went away again and finally came back and reminded me again how much it was and then reluctantly gave me a new one. I was made to feel like a criminal. I did not appreciate the tone of both pharmacists and the accusatory way that they dealt with it. I will not be using this pharmacy in the future. I usually go to Zehr's pharmacy and they are always very, very repectful. Shame on you Shoppers. I will tell anyone who listens not to go to you.

I tried to return an unopened bottle of Advil today. This was my 3rd attempt to return it. The other attempts I was told things can't be returned just yet due to Covid, I was told to come back again once things settle down. I understand that. Today I was told there is a time limit to return and I am too late. Wouldn't it have been nice if someone told me that earlier? I walked out. A long time customer being treated very poorly.
How is the investigation coming along?

Always been treated well. I go when I know it is not busy. If I have to wait, I wait patiently as these people are very busy. I have seen people in line have a melt down over nothing. We are lucky they are working during this trying time.

Super busy store. They usually have everything in stock however, they definitely need more staff.

Delivery wait time is really long. The staff doesnt inform people apon asking for delivery that they dont have debt and also the delivery staff doesnt start till 9: 30 so even if you call for a delivery as soon as store opens you will not get your delivery till after 9: 30. Better off to call the taxi company to get something delivered.

Avoid at all costs. Extremely slow every time I get a prescription filled. At least a 40 min wait or longer every time.
