Pharmacy team customer service concern.
I ask the pharmacist a question re certain medication. She seems to have no interest, did not stand up and approach the counter, mentioned the isle # where I can find the meds from her computer. The store is not busy at all and since I am unsure on what brand to get I approached the counter for the second time and the same behaviour was observed. Is that a good way to serve customers? I wonder how they will treat other members of the public?

I agree with some of the other reviews.pharmacy staff rude and very unhelpful! I will not be returning.

Went today May 24th around 3: 30 to pick up some medication. Unfortunately I missed her name, but the pharmacy assistant was very rude. I asked her twice if she could cash me out at the pharmacy. The first time she made an excuse that she didn't have to ring my medication through anyway so I should just go to the front. I asked her again, "so you can't cash me out here? " and again she told me to go to the front to cash out and gave me no reason. Mind you I had only ONE item to buy, and I already had my debit and optimum out. I guarantee it would not have taken more than 20 seconds. As someone who has previously worked as a pharmacy assistant at Shoppers this is unacceptable and I have never treated my customers like this, even if they had more than 1 item or needed more time from me even during busy hours. There was no other customer at the pharmacy at the time and they were not busy when I went today. Horrible experience and downright rude behaviour from this pharmacy assistant. She could have cashed me out in the amount of time it took her to refuse twice to cash me out for no good reason.

Pharmacy staff in this store is really helpful and kind, always explain things with patience.

Fantastic Pharmacy with Great Staff. All the pharmacists and technicians are so delightful to meet. They are truly an inspiration to all with their empathy and understanding towards patients.

No medicine for cough and cold for kids.asked pharmacist suggested another pharmacy. Kids medicine shelves are empty.

Nice, clean, well stocked and well located store. There are 2 handicap parking spots and plenty of free parking in the plaza. VERY busy pharmacy. This is not my regular pharmacy but I visited for a rapid antigen test and I was there for about 30 mins and noticed the pharmacy staff are very helpful and accommodating despite their busyness.

I highly recommend to book online your appointments for COVID test or Vaccine as they are very busy and can plan accordingly.

Had a PCR covid test completed at this location. 17 days later, results are still unavailable.

Only receiving automated responses to email inquiries. Contacted pharmacy staff by phone and was told there's nothing they can do about it.

Update: After contacting the pharmacy a dozen times, I was told over the phone that it was Doug Ford's fault for the delay in getting results and was told by email to contact a different pharmacy.
Hours after posting this review I got a response:

We called the lab today asking for your result and they told us that your sample was cancelled due to specimen leakage during the transit.

That is the whole message that was received.

Incompetent pharmacists. I was given a prescription for my 1 year old son to treat pneumonia, she (the pharmacist) rejected and advised to go back to the prescribing Dr as I needed 450 mg and they only sold by either 200/400 mg. After hours of waiting to see the Dr.and coming back we found out that it doesn't matter how it's sold, it just needed to add to a total of 450 per serving. The Dr we spoke with was in absolute shock of the incompetentcy of a licence pharmacist.

Great customer service at this pharmacy. I recently received my second dose at this location. The pharmacy staff were very kind and professional.

Manager was not helpful. She doesn’t want to solve customer’s problems at all. She said that their temporary workers can make mistakes and miscommunicate. That’s it.

The staff at this store are always positive and helpful! They always go above and beyond, this is my favorite stop after a long day!

I want to share my experience here at this store. The store manager and her associate saved my life. I was having problems speaking and I was sweating. They knew something was off with me. Instead of pushing me away they helped me instead (with water and allowing me to sit) especially with this virus thing going around they could off kicked me out but instead they help. I cant stop crying they saved my life. Thanku

One of the smaller stores for sure does not have a lot of inventory hard to move around as a handicap person in a walker I had to leave the Walker outside and use a shopping cart very very difficult to move around and there's also not very much inventory available a lot of the shelves seem empty definitely not a shoppers that I'm used to. If you don't have product you don't make sales if your sales are down you don't have product on the shelves very disappointed in the store no need for me to ever go back to this one.

The lady who closed the store tonight (pale with glasses) was extremely rude! I'm actually appalled an employee would act like that towards a customer. Will not be returning to this location and have already switched my prescription to another pharmacy. Would not recommend going here for anything.

Pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They know me by name and are always updating my current medications to ensure they have everything tracked in the system (yes they get paid to do this by the gov’t but it’s also really helpful as the customer to have a current list). They’re great, speedy and efficient. 5 stars for them during non-covid times.

2 stars based on principle alone (as service is still 5 star). Pharmacies have been asked by the CPhA and government to restrict prescriptions to a 30 day supply BUT they’re continuing to charge the $11.99 dispensing fee every 30 days. I get that they’re trying to prevent a possible drug shortage at the request of the government but they (pharmacies) are now making 3x as much on dispensing fees for 90 day prescriptions which to me seems a bit like price gouging.

Charge me once for dispensing but give it to me in a 30 day supply so you don’t run out of the drug. I shouldn’t have to pay $35.97 for something that should be a one time fee of $11.99. The dispensing fee should be waived after the first time (for prescriptions based on more than 30 days).

Again not their fault that they’ve been asked to implement this but they do have the ability to waive the additional dispensing fees.

I came into this shoppers drugmart and was greeted with a friendly Good Morning on the foggiest day ever by a very tall yet beautiful cosmetic rep by the name of Mila. I came in to just get cough drops and cough medicine. I came back into the cosmetics department to ask if the store had a shopping cart since I never saw them walking in. She stopped what she was doing and said “stay here, I will get you one”. She got me a shopping cart plus a flyer so I could see what else was on sale as if she read my mind and then said “incase there is a line up, feel free to come this way and I’ll cash you out”. I definitely took her up on that offer and she separated my food from the detergents. She’s amazing!

This is my 2nd great experience (1st one was with Anna) with this store. Didnt had receipt for baby product which I bought it few weeks ago. Alicia get all the info (when bought/Optimum #/amount etc) and went to back get receipt reprinted. I had a experience with other shoppers where front desk don't want to above and beyond but Alicia was amazing.this store is really blessed with these 2 (Anna and Alicia) wonderful customer oriented staff.

Very rude merchandiser lady. Please provide basic customer care training to the employees before they hit the floor.

Fahad in the pharmacy is terrific.always very friendly and helpful. I needed a meds change a while ago (my brand was discontinued) and he took the time to talk, look up information, print it out, and then went through options with me. Listened and understood. Thank you!

Went to the location last week and required item wasn't in stock, beauty boutique rep (Anna) did above and beyond to help customer. Never seen such great customer service where rep is spending around 30mins to call 5 different shoppers to check the stock.

She was really amazing and even call me back once product is back to stock.

To Owner: she is such great asset for your store.

Store has declined in appearance and customer service over the past few months. Not sure if management has changed or just given up

I went to this location to get the flu shot. I was asked to fill out a form and wait. I waited for 20 minutes before inquiring about the wait time. The pharmacy staff had just picked up my completed form from the counter. I was asked to wait for an additional 5 minutes. Poor customer service. It did not look busy, yet I was forgotten. If you are too busy to provide flu shots, please let the customer know. Will not be back.
