Shoppers Drug Mart

I usually go to this shoppers for the presto pass as it is nearest to me but the attitude of cashier is making me not to visit this place again!
Her name is Vithsila and this was my third encounter with her which she made miserable. I usually go in the morning but she is always there and is so rude that's why this time I went in the evening but she was still there and again the same thing happened. They should work on their customer service and train these people to how to talk atleast.

Very bad people specially the supervisors her name is Vidhiya she is very disrespectful and she insulted my wife because she asked for washroom for my 3 years old daughter they didn’t let her use their bathroom and they were very rude and unprofessional.

Poor management. You can never get the pharmacy. Or if you do it took over an hour. This has been brought to management, however, they don't care much. If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this location

The staff will openly racially profile people even with children in the premises, unprofessional staff making easy money doing the bare minimum while homelessness flourishes, get real

Do not go here for Covid pcr test.
We required one for my mom to move into a retirement home and never received any results. I did follow up and still nothing. Has been over two weeks.
When mentioned to the retirement home they did say it has happened before with other people.

Just moved into the markham and lawrence area and i visited this shoppers today and i was very impressed. The employees were very helpful. The products were also priced well. I also visited the cosmetics section to purchase a bottle of men perfume they had a lot of variety. The staff there was also very helpful forgot the employees name. Thank you!

I wish i could give 0 starts. I don’t know who made NASEER manager. He’s the person who doesn’t know how to talk with customers. He thinks himself Detective Naseer. Shame on u. Never gonna come back to this location.

Just visit this shoppers location yesterday june 11-2023 and i was happy with the store and the staff. They were very helpful as i need some help to find some product. This store was very clean. I just move in the area and i am happy with everything i can find here. Thank you to staff for good service and help

Best shoppers location! I’ve been visiting for a really long time. All the staff is also very friendly and know me as I had a shop in the plaza before. Great service and staff. 10/10

The staff and pharmacists at Shopperdrugmart, at Markham and Lawrence are really good and knowledgeable. They really know what they are doing despite being very busy. I was very impressed by Lucy who seemed to know exactly what is in the system, and she was able to answer my questions and doubts. Lucy, you are very good at your job and you know exactly what is what. I am surprised when people complain, and either they are impatient or unreasonable. People have to remember that they are always working and taking calls and filling prescriptions. They are not watching TV there. A big shout out to the rest of the staff and pharmacists and assistants at this location. Thank you for all the help in serving us.

Hoppers Drug Mart at this location is very good. Lucy and Rajip are very knowledgeable and helpful. They actually know and advise you correctly. I don't expect people to complain if they have some patience and are reasonable about the work there. Nobody is wasting their time and they have government regulations to follow. So, be patient if you want to be happy with their service.

Really good shoppers location. I can always find everything i need here. The price are fair and quality is amazing. Really clean store and the staff members are very helpful and super friendly. Recently visited to purchase some products and needed help to find a medication. I was greeted and helped right away. This is my go to location. 100/100

I had some query so I called and I was just on the hold for almost 10 minutes and yet I couldn’t get my call answered.
The telephone service is so poor!

I thought I would add more information, as being a 20 year old customer, I am concluding my business with this store permanently. I have decided to no longer put up with their ablist discrimination.

I'll start from the top. There are 3 Pharmastists that currently work the front counter. Two of them are professional, kind, and highly understanding that I cannot leave my home. I will miss doing business with them. The third pharmacist, however, is far less understanding.

Every week, I get only some of my medications delivered, never all. I call immediately after noticing they are missing, and guess who picks up the phone? She is rude, unapologetic, and ablist. She will have several excuses why she withheld medication that I am legally entitled to. For example, she would claim that I had delivery 5 days ago. I would correct her and say that it was a full week, but then she'll change her story and say that I had them delivered late in the evening. Correct her again and say they were delivered in the morning? Nope, still can't have them because of billing issues and to avoid being audited. Risk of withdrawals? I can have them, but I'm not eligible for delivery again in the same day. She'll also suggest that I have one of my sibling pick it up.

It's clear at this point she is refusing to accommodate my disability. She is withholding my medications, which I am almost certain is illegal. On top of it all, she is questioning and judging my situation, which is without doubt disability-related discrimination. Wait, but this happened only once.right? WRONG! This happens literally every week by this same pharmacist. Had been for years, until today.

My only regret was not taking my business elsewhere sooner. My whole family and some of my friends also have plans to stop shopping at this store as well, including general merchandise. Will never go back.

This is for the management of Shoppers Drug Mart. I am posting this review as the front desk does need some training. I bought just 1 item less than 10 mins ago. I scanned the item on the self check-out counter and selected the email receipt option.
Now starts the pathetic customer experience. The woman who was on the billing asked for the card with which I made the payment. She said she has to check that whether I paid or not. Why have this mode of checking out when you don't trust the customers. And I had just one item in my hand. So it cannot be that after scanning the item I underpaid. Plus she explicitly told me that she has to check if I paid or not. Never coming back to this Shoppers. Or may be never going back to any Shoppers again.

Clean and usually well stocked. Only thing prices are a little expensive. Walmart has the same items cheaper. Helpful staff. Becareful of the eggs I've witnessed customers "building" their own tray. Over all its an okay shoppers bathing fancy but nothing shabby.

Horrible experience. Very very unsatisfied with customer service. I wanted to share my experience that I purchased a perfume and spend 120$. It was sealed pack when I bought. When I opened it at home the bottle was broken from inside. I took that to store with bill, the assistant manager was so rude that instead of helping me out and supporting, he blamed me that i broke that and doing fake complain. Like seriously then why should I spend 120$. I have everything bill bag plastic paper. Very very upset with this kind of service. I was new in that area and unaware of this kind of location or else never purchased from there.

Terrible terrible store! I would give lower than 1 star if I could. Try calling the pharmacy and you will need to try 4-5 times after they hang up on you immediately. After you get through, if you want your medication delivered go elsewhere! I called at 2pm and they said they will have it on the friday delivered. I call the next day and get told it’s coming Monday! I need this medication to live. So I go into the store missing my meeting, and get told that no one even put it in the system that it needs to be delivered! What type of business is this if you got medication that your life depends on. This is the last store you should go to, if you want a smooth experience, this is not the store. If you have no other choices, this store would still fail you. Look elsewhere

The store won't answer the phone, someone keeps picking up and hanging up the phone. This is unacceptable especially when people rely on getting their medication and having someone to speak to. If this is a technical issue I suggest that management resolves this quickly.

Waited 25 mins for service at the beauty counter. Disgusting. There always seems to be a long wait for everything at this SDM, even the postal counter. Avoid avoid avoid!

Last week I went to this store to pick up some prescription drugs. The pharmacy student Chelsea there was extremely supportive and went extra step to explain the prescription and details of each medicine. Thank you Chelsea for your excellent customer service!

A good drug store to get your vitamins, grooming essentials, and health-care needs. A lot of cool snacks to buy as well, will rate 4 star because the customer service portion could use a little work as they employees tend to be in their own world, when not assisting customers.

The best Shoppers Drugmart I've been to.helpful staff and I love the cashiers (2 Indian ladies with long hair) they are so patient. Keep it up and stay safe!

All working employees needs customer service training especially pharmacist who was working on August 10 2020 at 8 20 pm I did not get her name but clearly needs customer service training please will avoid this shoppers drug mart in future. Extremely Rude Pharmacist and she is just working for money not to help at All.

I adore your merchandise and check-out Ladies are always pleasant but each and everytime I need to pick up RX I feel as if the people serving me don't care, are overworked and sometimes cranky.

Today 5 people in pharmacy, first in line for pick up, 10 minute wait without someone even making eye contact. I said I would like to transfer our standing orders to McCowan store and pick up an Rx please. I was asked what my husband's last name was!

Great experience getting my flu shot. The pharmacist was friendly and knowledgeable.
But most of the store staff looked overworked and not interested with customer's needs and inquiries.

Total rude pharmacist, didn't listen what i am trying to said, after some time put the call in hold without any notice. Didn't understand this kind of stupid behavior

I hate coming to this Shoppers at Markham & Lawrence. The supervisors are very rude and the customer service is not good.

They’ve also implemented the self check outs and the lines are STILL way too long for those needing to pay cash, or waiting to load their presto cards.

I only come here if I really need something quick. Otherwise, I will go out of my way to go to another Shoppers further away to get decent service.

Highly unprofessionals worst costumer services they don't care doctors office refills the medication they lost it then you have to go personally to get the new one than the fax megicaly appears the apology you don't get instead they say: oh well we have to void the faxed prescription. Basically they have no idea what they doing in the pharmacy. Don't go there save your self a hustle.

I see a lot of reviews about the staff being rude and ignoring customers but maybe the customers can show a little bit of respect. Also the lines are insanely long especially on Thursdays, they really need more staff for backup.

I stopped by Shoppers tonight to do some shopping. I asked a young Asian guy by the dairy section whether they had any more 2% milk. He gave me an incredibly rude answer, and identified himself as the manager.

Fine by me. I don't need to spend my money here.

Oh. And I'm Asian, so this isn't a race issue. Simply a courtesy issue.

Think ten times before you chosing this pharmacy. Got wrong/expired meds from them three times within one year, plus poor service.

Worst pharmacy I have ever been too! I was waiting forever for my medication which I can understand if they are busy but then getting my medications was the worst experience of my life getting my medication filled. Never will return!

Not well-stocked or clean. Lots of Filipino workers at this location (I'm guessing the manager is Filipino as well.so you know he/she is going to hire mostly his/her people) who give you attitude when you ask where a certain item is located. It's like they rather talk among themselves in their language (you also see that as well) than help customers. I'm tired of having to ask one of them for assistance and they give me a look like I'm interrupting a conversation about Manny Pacquio or something. Thank goodness for the self-check outs. At least they are saving money there.

This store was VERY dirty. There was garbage and receipts on throughout the store. Very disappointed.

This is great location but canada post employee inside is very rude does not know how to talk with customer at all. That extra slim brown looking lady is very disrespectful. She might be thinking she owns this place but she is nothing but crazy witch who does not know how to talk and keep insulting customers. Dont visit Canada Post on this location.

I have switched from Rexall Pharmacy to Shoppers Drug Mart. Rexall Pharmacy is charging extra cash payment for prescription drugs which were being paid to Rexall Pharmacy by ODB (Government of Ontario). Hence I have approached Shoppers Drug Mart, Scarborough, Ontario.

We have been visiting this place from last 6 months every weekend and sometimes during the week

I have a complain to do about the product quantities
Why it is every time whenever there is a weekend you are out of milk 2% most of the time

Soft drinks

Breads

And basic need which people would buy most often
And specially the products which has promotion going on!

If you are promoting some product and giving good deals as a user we expect it to get there in store

As a person who mails out plenty of parcels, I've come to
appreciate the staff that works at the Canada Post at this
location.

Canada Post's staff have always been very helpful,
honest and respectful to me. They'll even fill out the extra
details you may have missed on your parcel (s) customs forms
without hesitation.

In fact, on one evening the staff politely asked the Canada Post
Mail courier (who was just about ready to leave with the day's mail)
to wait until the cashier finished processing my parcel so it could
be shipped out immediately! Talk about service!

Yes, the line-ups can be a chore at times, but that's just a side
effect of the store's location being seconds away from
Cedarbrae mall.
