Hard to get on the phone. When you get someone to answer the phone then it seems they don’t have enough information and keep transfer the call to other person and keep you on hold and then cut off.

Went to this shoppers to buy cologne for fiancé, Asked the lady if there was a difference between the two kinds where she giggled and said only difference is if you want with a bow or not for the holidays. After purchasing $170 for this cologne upon opening to find it was indeed the wrong bottle went back to try and exchange it for the correct one. The staff and manager as this location where extremally rude, Could not provide proof they couldn't do the exchange due to the fact i had removed it from the plastic and i was now out $170 after having to re-buy the correct fragrance for the gift.i have never seen so much ignorance and lack of customer service in one store at the same time.beware do not go to a store like shoppers to buy high end purchases from non-educated staff.

Don't try to connect with pharmacist over the phone. Tried twice and no one picked up. Held for forty minutes one time and then the call dropped. Extremely inconvenient.

Called the pharmacy 3 times today. The first time the pharmacist said “pharmacy please hold “. 25 minutes later I hung up. The second time same thing. Pharmacy please hold and 30 minutes wait. And the third time pharmacy please hold and another 30 minute wait. How hard is it to pick up the phone and say we’re busy call back in a couple hours? Zero for customer service! Incompetent *****

I've been in this country 8 years but never had any vaccine shots at pharmacies. Came on Friday to drop of my prescription for hpv vaccines. Was told I need to wait 1.5 hr or I can come back another day. I thought it's a stock related issue so I asked if I still need to wait when I come back another day and the staff said I just need to wait in line. So I asaume he meant the line for pickup. He asked me when I want to come back and I said Sunday. He said that's ok. On Sunday when I arrived I was told I need to wait half an hour because I don't have an appointment. Willing to wait but had to voice my complaint to the staff because I was misled. The phamrcist rudely interrupted and loudly claimed she 'was accommodating me' and she 'had other patients with appointments' as if she's doing me a big favour and I'm not allowing her patients to get shots. Not necessary, not professional and too much attitude. A member of their team caused a misunderstanding and I was blamed and my time wasted. Took my prescription to another pharmacy and got the shot in 20min. Never going back again.

Some of shelfs are empty and they don’t fill them up. I think all the shoppers have supply chain problem! Because they don’t have enough product.

I don't think people understand how busy this pharmacy gets, despite all the negativity under the reviews for this location. People either share their lack of understanding of what goes on behind the counter. As this is my local shoppers, I would like to recognize the pharmacy team for doing their absolute best with everything. I also feel so bad when they get yelled at for people having the lack of patience and understanding when their is literally two pharmacy members just trying to keep things a float.

I've been there picking up my medications when it is during peak hours, and while I wait in line just like everyone else I would like to recognize Brandon who works there. Not sure if he is new, but I have been seeing him regularly. Though he can't answer everything, he really does drop everything to attend and acknowledge you even when I bet he has tons of prescriptions to fill in the back.

The Iren is so rude and not professional
I was shopping there i saw a woman without shoppers jacket and name give shet to staffs and when i was using self checkout she mentioned me you have to scan all items I told her I know and I know how to work with it. Then she impolitely ask the cashier check his receipt? !
Then left the store

She wanted to show up everybody that is manager or supervisor.
You are nothing just a controller person that bothers everybody.
Please take some course for better customer service and even behaviour with the staff.

The staff are not customer service oriented. It is difficult to find someone to answer your questions. Tried calling them yesterday to ask a question no one picked up the phone. I called them 4 or 5 times and each time waited for more than a minute but couldn’t speak with anyone. It is an ok store.

Wanted to pick up a prescribed cream and it was ready but pharmacist wouldn’t give it to me because she wanted me to wait for 25 minutes for no reasons (not sure if this is a wait and walk around marketing strategy BUT it’s not working)

The staff is super rude as well so never coming again for sure

I wanted to rate this place for a long as the previous staff were extremely rude in how they dealt with customers. Their tone was loud and unfriendly.

However, I've noticed a complete change over of the cashier staff. They are now friendly and courteous which should be the norm these days.

The new beauty section lady greets people coming in to the store with a big smile and genuine friendly face.

What a big difference! I just hope this change is for good and the previous crew were not just on vacation or something.

Shoppers head office, if you are monitoring cx reviews, please take note. Thanks

I’ve bought expired snacks from here two times now. They’ve offered to give me refund or exchange one time I called to let them know, but it’s such an inconvenience to go out of my way to go there to get my money back for a $5 snack.

I have no comments about the staff as I’ve never been helped by a person as they seem to be nowhere in sight or always busy. The girl I spoke to on the phone seemed nice and apologetic. But I just wish the merchandizers paid attention to the expiration date.

I shouldn’t have to double check whether or not I’m about to buy something that expired in 2021.

Edit* Seems like they don’t care that they keep selling expired products because they know people wont come back for the 4 or 5 dollars max that they’ll get back. The owner of this location is probably a money hungry piece of garbage which is why they’re always understaffed and keep selling expired goods.

Come here for the convenience, I’ve noticed a lot of expired products on shelves lately not sure what’s going on. Usually 1 staff at checkout and they have a self checkout as well to the left side. They should be getting employees to bring the shopping carts in frequently as windy days they can blow all over the cars and damage them. The plus about this store is if you need to mail something Canada Post they do have that option inside the store. Generally the only times I come here now are when I’m awaiting my order from Pizza Nova.

Worst pharmacy. Never picks up the phone. Busy dial or on hold at most times. Doesn't help that pharmacists are rude- the tone one of the pharmacist took with me was unbelievably dismissive. Can tell that don't care about their patients. Def won't be coming back to this location and probably avoid others shoppers if this is the standard of care offered.

My dentist prescribed me some mouth wash water. And i was told to come back after an hour after I dropped the prescription. I don’t get it why it takes an hour. If you don’t have it at all maybe another day, if you have it now how difficult it is to give me a bottle?

This is the Shoppers Drug Mart nearest me and it is the Shoppers of last resort - in the past 5-years it never fails to disappoint, waste your time and raise your blood pressure. Just the latest, website states walk-ins available for flu shot and then after standing in line for 15-minutes they tell you you need an appointment. Spare yourselves the misery.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy experience anytime I get my medicine, happens to be a convenient location so they have kept my business for years. Without fail there is something that will upset you every time with this pharmacy, I do not want this to reflect poorly on the one pharmacist there actually doing her job, this goes mainly for the manager Marc who doesn't quite seem phased by anything, and Zahida who looks down her nose at you for simple requests. Upon my most recent visit, my script was not ready after they had it for 9 hours and I was told to return in 1-2 days. When letting this pharmacist know I need my medicine first thing in the morning the next day, she told me there is more than 100 scripts in front of mine. Makes me wonder why Marc and herself do not have their lab coats on and nobody seems to be filling any scripts (as is the case every visit). Please get a system that works in place, there should never be 100 scripts waiting, Costco fills my families scripts like its a McDonalds drive through, these people cant get it done in 2 days. I'll likely just get an automated response to this and nothing will change, AVOID THIS PHARMACY.

There was a lady pharmacist who was very rude over the phone when I asked about Covid rapid testing. She was talking in a very loud and impatient tone when I asked about the availability of testing. Not even explaining anything properly and then proceeded to hang up on me. Ridiculous customer service. I will also be reporting this to Shoppers head office.

This is probably the worst Shoppers Drug Mart ever - if you can avoid this location, stay away! The attitude of the front service employees are the worst I have ever seen. They have abhorrent attitudes and the rudest communication, and I have pretty low expectations for pharmacy stores. Seemingly taking out their frustrations on multuple customers at the same time - noted as a bystander observing interactions. Definitely needs some leadership from the owner.

My family has been going for 15 years now, the previous owner, Millie had expectational customer service and ensured that the pharmacy was ran properly. The new owner is extremely rude, lacks any sense of customer service and will in fact raise his voice to make his point when you ask him simple pharmacy questions. This store has been unfortunately ruined by the lack of leadership.

Front store staff are extremely nice and helpful, can’t say anything but positive things about them.

If you choose to go here, only go on the days May or Nisha are working as they will help you with all your needs and take the rime to explain your medications. The owner is an absolute joke, it’s alarming that he is a registered Pharmacist.

My mother entered this location today at noon with her certified emotional support animal (ESA). After a customer supposedly lodged a complaint, management asked her to leave despite the dog wearing the ESA identifying vest. Management did not even bother to ask for the documentation proving her ESA status. They just asked her to leave as per the store's policy - which they identified by simply pointing to a sign on the door with no other explanation. Please see attached photo for your store policy, it might be useful to adhere by it.

We will NEVER be coming back to this location - and if we see this is how we are treated at all Shopper's Drug Mart locations, we will surely take our business elsewhere. It is 2021, being inclusive of all people is the least you could do for your customers.

Just when you thought that the new owner ruined this place by hiring incompetent staff and co-op students to do all their dirty work, the new manager does one better by completely destroying this place. Irene is incompetent, useless and extremely unprofessional. Never in my years of life have I seen such a terrible place run by even worse people. They are careless, unorganized and treat their staff horribly. Terrible place to work and even worse place to shop. Avoid at ALLL costs.

The most incompetent Pharmacy Team in the GTA. I chose this location as its closest to home my doctor had called in several prescriptions for my autoimmune disease and they continiously never have stock on hand and assure me they will order the next day but when I get to the store they have dispensed it to someone else. I am left in discomfort and pain thanks for the lack of care from this pharmacy. The owner of this franchise was also there that day and he was much more rude than the other staff didn't seem to care and told me to come back later without giving me a time. I understand its a pandemic and everyone is stressed but making people come in repeatedly and not having there medication is such simply wrong and evil. For the record an exception is Nisha the pharmacist thats works there is absolutely amazing and unfortunately she wasn't aware of what was going on but she often fixes things quickly I wish I had dealt with her or made her aware. My family and extended family will never come to this location for anything anymore. I have sent an email to their corporate head office. This is unacceptable!

Very unprofessional behaviour at this pharmacy. I asked for 90 day med supply and I was told that it will be filled for 90 days over the phone. Nothing was mentioned about a note from 4 months ago that the meds shall be filled 1 month at a time. It was acknowledged that 90days supply will be given, but they made an error & filled only 30 days. Rather than apologizing for the error, they made me look like a lier because they don't keep phone records. The owner Mark has no customer service skills - such pharmacies are a disgrace to their profession.

I AM ONE THE MOST INTERESTED SHOPPERS CUSTOMER, I RECEIVED A VERY BAD BEHAVIOR FROM ONE OF THE STAFF IN THIS LOCATION. I JUST ASKED HER POLITELY TO CHECK IF THEY HAVE SOMTHING IN THE BACK, WHICH SUDDENLY SHE STARTED YELLING AT ME. I THINK SUCH A BEHAVIOR IS NOT APPROPRIATE AT ALL FOR SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN SUCH A REPUTABLE CHAIN STORE. DEFENTLY THE STAFF MUST BE TRAINED TO BEHAVE WELL TO MAKE CUSTOMER EAGER TO CONTINUE SHOPPING AT SHOPPERS DURG MART.

Pharmacy staff are knowledgeable, but their dispensing fee is high and they do not reduce it even if your insurance doesn't cover the full amount. I started going to the nearby IDA pharmacy, which is just amazing and they always reduce their fee if your insurance doesn't cover it.

Wonderful pharmacy and pharmacy staff! They are very knowledgeable and care about your well being. It’s a shame seeing so many patients abuse them and yell thinking they have to be served right away! There’s so much going on in the back and we need to be more patient.

My family and I have been a customer of this store for 30 years. Unfortunately the new owner does not have the same customer service attitude that Millie had. I called ahead to make sure the post office was open and was told it was. When I got there the post office was closed. When I complained, Mark the owner gave me a lecture that I should be thankful the store is even open. He was curt and rude and treated me like I was a misbehaving child, even though I am much older than he is. No one should be treated the way I was no matter what is going on in the world. I am not surprised to see other reviews have complained about the same thing.

I called to inquire if they have thermometers. The customer service representative seems in hurry. Simply said “we do not have any” and hing up the phone. I didn’t get even a chance to ask if they’re going to get any in the future or not!

This location has been ruined by the new owner. Not only is he careless about his customers, he also does not care about his staff. I used to shop here when Millie was around. Everyone was so happy and cheery, things were organized, customers were happy. Maybe instead of employing so many co-op kids to do your jobs, Mark should partner with one of the high schools to attend a business 101 class. It truly is a shame.
