Worst shoppers ever. The beauty’s manager was so rude and racist, she was unwelcome any customer to shop there. So many nonsense rules and unique policies at this location. Don’t spend your money there, because you won’t get any respect and service, only anger and refuse.

The supervisor with long curly hair at this location is extremely rude and I’m not sure how she could train her staffs since she does not have the proper training on customer’s service.

The pharmacist tells me there's no such a thing as cough medicine/syrup for children, when I easily found them at a different Shoppers. Note that I confirmed she was not saying a matter of out of stock, but there's no such products in the market. So weird.

So I went here for a school project to research product prices and a store associate treated us terrible telling us that we had to purchase a product to be in the store and that doing our project without permission was “against store policy” and I had to alert the manager beforehand. They acted as we were loitering around the store and hanging out and they kept us under watch like we were troublemakers.

There were 2 boutique girls working Tuesday may 17 that were awful. There’s one with shorter red hair and one that looked androgynous, skinny. The one that looks like a dude literally gives you so much attitude for asking questions and rolls their eyes when you don’t end up buying anything. What kind of luxury experience is that supposed to be lol

The store itself has nothing special to complain about, but the customer service was disappointing. It seems each customer service has her own business to take care of and nobody has time and responsibility to help you. I waited for a long time and I eventually got help by making a phone call to another party the next day.

The Girl at the Beauty Boutique (Alaina). Was extremely nice and outgoing, I was greeted and asked if i needed any help! I was looking for a new cologne, she was patient and took the time to really help me out. She was Superfriendly and Professional! She builds bonds and relationships with her customers! 10/10 Will be coming back! Amazing retail service.

Extremely bad customer service from the pharmacist, it’s not like I’m asking for specific questions about how take a medicine, your job is not even sales where you are required to speak so much to convince me to get a product, your job is to provide information and give people their medicine. Times are hard and we all know that, but I went in to ask for the price for a specific medication and with a mad and bored face all she said was: I can’t give you the price without a prescription. She was supposed to be the doctor there I guess, she has black hair and glasses and the other staff working there are completely different and polite. I called another shoppers and the gentleman gave me the price and did mention I needed prescription to buy it. Completely different experience. Bottom line, skip this pharmacy!

Went to the pharmacy twice on different occasions. Both times, the person handling my prescription was rude and was not helpful. My first time, there was an error with insurance and instead of being of helpful, the person was extremely rude and gave me attitude. The second time, I was told that there was a fee for my prescription despite it being listened as covered under OHIP+. I had brought up the issue but ended up being told I was wrong and that I had to pay the fee. I ended up going to a different shoppers where the medicine was covered under OHIP+ and the pharmacist assistant was very helpful and kind. Would not recommend bringing your prescription here as the assistant is extremely rude and unhelpful.

I don't comment as often as I should regarding those who faithfully serve our daily needs within the realm of "Retail". I suppose I prefer to voice my opinions "face to face".
Within the issues that COVID-19 has integrated into our new normal way of life, front line workers risk their well-being and that of their families for our well-being! That's a fact and I'm not at all sure we applaud that reality loud enough. But we do find the wherewithal to complain, don't we.
In short: My experiences at Shoppers Markville have always been ones of excellence. Special mention to SHILA! But today that's not my impetus for sharing.
To my point: After spending 73 years interacting with the human race I've learned this undeniable truth: Fault finders will always find fault. They've established themselves as the "fault police". A mindset that's birthed in a "delusional sense" of "entitlement to perfection". But, the measuring stick they use to evaluate the performance of others is never equally applied to themselves. They would never tolerate such intense scrutiny! Hence, they live out their lives on a "galactically disingenuous one-way street".
Thus, their opinions are to be taken with a "very small grain of salt". Why? Because the splinters they so diligently notice in other's eyes, cause them to be blind to "the log" in their own! That's not an attribute folks. It's a very blinding condition to one's own reality! Equally "IMPERFECT" as everyone else is who and what we are!
Though it "synthetically" does wonders for the ego, "fault finding" as a life style does nothing but diminish our integrity of spirit nor does it allow the "sacred grace" so needed in society today!
Words of wisdom for those who have ears to hear: "You are not entitled to "perfect" until such time as you demand it of yourself". I call that "FAIR"!

The staff been so rude to my wife, make up her own rule to limite the numbers of item my wife can buy.felt like been treated like a thief.

I did not appreciate the lady giving me attitude and a giving me a hard time, throwing my items so hard that they bounce and fall onto the floor. Will not be visiting this location again as there are many locations near by. I frequent many shoppers and this was the worst service I have received.

Experience here was poor!

Came here for their Chanel stock availability and to take advantage of their points redemption offer since my regular store closer to home didn’t carry it anymore.

The girl at the beauty boutique counter was nice. Terrible experience comes from meeting the store front manager Steven Macdonald. He was just emotionless and didn’t offer any useful assistance. Was informed they weren’t allowed to sell more than one Chanel product to a customer for corporate reasons and due to Grey market. I was almost directed to the wrong store (Kennedy & 7/16th & Woodbine) but I was able to visit another store to do so as they were not identical products since once one was a twist and spray.

Zero importance of customer service at this store. Never coming back again.

Locate inside the Markville mall. I found this shoppers a little congested and tight between the aisle. Meaning not a lot of space. I wouldn't want to shop here on a busy day. They do seem to carry everything a bigger shoppers does.

It’s very very very bad service, and very very very bad quality, we just bought the watch for kid yesterday, and we found there was broken after we reached home, tonight, I brought the receipt and watch to exchange, they refused, it made me shocked, why they sold those bad quality stuff to us, and they refused to exchange, if they can’t accept customer to bring the bad stuff to exchange or return, they should put the paper on the wall, wrote “no refund, no exchange”, then the customer will buy carefully, I never wrote any bad reviews for any store before, this is the first one, it really really really made me so so angry, and made me so sick!

I was very upset with the way I was treated by a store representative. Her sheer lack of customer service and humanity discusted me. She was working the register, I'm guessing, on Halloween night when all the kids were going around the mall getting candy. My daughter is 6. Her candy bag handle broke and I asked the lady at this location for a bag please, I even said I don't mind paying for it. Seeing me struggling with the heavy and broken bag she simply said, "sorry, that's against store policy". Certainly there can't be a policy that tells u not to help people. I offered to pay for it and she still said no!

We deal exclusively with Markville Mall Shoppers Drug Mart. The pharmacist’s track our medications and offer advice that your doctor may have overlooked. It’s a big concern when you have MULTIPLE prescriptions and the possible cocktail side effects. Special thanks to Stephanie, Suzanne, and Michelle, they have our FULL CONFIDENCE ️
Since the store has expanded it’s also been very convenient to pick up groceries. I’m not saying do your groceries there, but it sure has been helpful. Especially if your ill or in pain and you just want to get home

I got my passport photo done after a very bad experience at another shoppers. The person was polite, professional and communicated well. He was patient and took a great passport photo. I am very happy with this location and the service that I received here. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and relavites who need their photo done.

Been here tons of time. Always clean and organized. Staff are friendly. The Shoppers brand of water in the cooler by the front of the store keeps the bottles very cold. A one stop shop for many items.

Went in looking to get flu shots for my grandparents but the staff in the pharmacy was incredibly rude and seemed lost. After lining up, She just simply told me that "we don't provide flu shots for seniors, go back to your family doctor". This was confusing and made little sense to me, so I went downstairs to the Pharmacy in Walmart, who happily helped my grandparents to get the shots they needed with no issues at all, which makes me think that the staff at the Shoppers never had the intention to help us in the first place.

This place makes up their own store policies. Don't ever buy electronics or attempt to refund here. They'll make a bs excuse that they don't take them back EVEN THOUGH the store policy is they will if in original unsealed packaging. If you ever need to buy electronics, buy it from a reputable store like Best Buy or Costco.
