If I can give negative star for this Shoppers Drug Mart, I will give them -1000 stars. Worst customer service ever I experienced in my life. Pharmacy staff have no care for the health of the patients and they will simply give irresponsible answers about the time line for medication pick up time. They will never pick up the call. It was delayed 3 days for me and I have to transfer my prescription to another pharmacy and they told me they will fax it right away and they did not do it. Me and the new pharmacy end up calling them multiple times but no one picked up the call. After 2 hours and me calling to the cosmetic department and asking for help I was able to get the faxed to the new pharmacy. Disappointed very much.

I am a customer since 2000.now days the pharmacy wont answer the phone.as i am writing this at 8: 40pm, i have been on hold for 30 minutes and 19 seconds. Does a wait of 30 min sound reasonable? If every call takes 8 minutes, 4 calls answered should take 32 minutes
. I'm deeply upset. I need my diabetic medications as well as others.

Terrible. I can’t call to find out about my prescriptions because no one ever answers the phone and I’m on hold for extended periods of time. I’m currently waiting on hold going on 25 minutes. By far, not only the worst shoppers I’ve ever dealt with but the worst pharmacy. Go somewhere else and don’t shop here either. There’s another shoppers at Lawrence and Kennedy - 2 minutes away - do yourself a favour and go there for everything. Better service, bigger selection, cleaner.

I called about a fragrance, the Customer service associate at beauty said, let me check and told me it's available after having a look. I told her I'll be there in 15 min. After finding out it was on sale, she kept the fragrance for herself. When I got there she said, sorry it got sold 30 min ago. But I called 15 min ago. (Then why would she tell me it's available) she can lie all she wants.it's just the lack of integrity! Please check cameras and you'll be surprised. Call time 4: 32pm Sunday 26th March.

Pharmacy staff are just outright rude & disrespectful. Spoke to someone over the phone and I was hung up on before I was finished speaking - this is not the first poor experience I’ve had here.it’s been ongoing for quite some time. Whether it’s been “facing issues”, poor customer service, nobody answering phone, etc. I will be changing my pharmacy after this.

At first, I thought this Shoppers Drug Mart was extremely good, until I had a very bad experience recently. On Sunday, April 23,2023, around 5 PM, I was asking the beauty section lady (she is Tamil, I believe) a question, and she was showing me attitude for no reason. And since I come to this location often, she outright said to me, 'You come here every week and disturb me. ' Something needs to be done about this lady's behaviour, and she needs to be fired for poor customer service.

Very bad customer service from the pharmacy end. I’ve had the same issue occur multiple times with faxing issues. Not to mention the lady I spoke with over the phone had a very rude tone with me. Not a great pharmacy. You can probably tell by the others reviews as well that this location is not the best

My doctor faxed a prescription for my inhalers to this location and when we came to pick it up, they said they didn’t have it. By that time, my doctors office was closed and I needed to go to the hospital because I couldn’t breath. The next day, my doctor had them fax it again. When we came again to pick it up, they said it’s been there since the day before but the person from yesterday didn’t check. This is nonsense. Such unprofessional and incompetent people. Do they not know people need their drugs from the pharmacy?

My partner has his anti-epileptic medication here. He requested a refill on the app because he was about to run out and they did not do an auto-refill like they normally do. He missed his morning dose as a result, we went to see what was going on - they were out of stock of the medication coming in "later tonight or tomorrow". They did not inform us they were out of stock or we would have called other pharmacies, nor did they reach out to other pharmacies or provide any advice on how to handle this situation. If the medication was going to come the next day, that would be 3-4 missed doses.

When we went back home he already started to have seizures (cutting these medications cold turkey could cause seizures that do not stop and are a medical emergency that can result in death).

I called back asking them to find another pharmacy and they said "we can try" - obviously they did not try. I also asked why we not informed and they answered "I don't know".

Called Rexall down the road and had to get the medication from there.

Overall, that was an example of poor patient communication which resulted in neglect and very possible medical emergency. If they had informed us they were out of stock we would have taken the steps to prevent any missed doses.

If you have a complex medication condition that requires a close relationship with your pharmacist and need to trust that their services deliver, please do not use this one.

Just got off at 10 hr shift and I had forgotten to reload my sons presto card. I only had cash on hand and it was past 11pm, this was the closest location to me. I called the store, and was connected to a lady I explained to her that I was on my way there and she was able to reload my sons Presto even though it was near closing. So grateful for her amazing service. Me and my parents have been comming to this location for about 20+ years & will keep comming back because of the service there!:)

ALERT! ALERT! ALERT!

One of the worst pharmacy I have seen in my whole life. I called the to inquire about my prescription but they kept on transferring my call to pharmacy for 1 hour and lady who received my call was rude and didn't even know what the hell she was doing. When pharmacist received my call she was very rude and instead of solving my concern she told me to read what is written.

Worst service ever.

The pharmacist is beyond incompetent. They make you wait even when you book an appointment and serve customers that show up after you. Beyond disappointing at how slow the service is when they finally do acknowledge you exist again.

Worst customer service. Doctor sent the prescription 11am. I went to pick up at 6pm and it wasn't ready. I waited for more than half an hour to pick up.

These guys are cheap. They always keep number of cashier low. So, even in the middle of the day you should always stay in line to wait for cashiers to be served.
If you value your time, better not to go.

The owner has no customer service skills. People were standing in line waiting to be pick up their perscriptions while he was doing something else and it wasn't until a lady complained about waiting that's when decided to serve us. He took a really long time to process my order and questionned my benefits because he did not know how to process the order properly.

The lady with glasses and a broom-like hairstyle was rude and impatient to customers. The store's rating is low because they have workers like her who doesn't have a service mind. If you care about customers' opinions, please get rid of all incompetent staffs, starting from that lady. (Jan 26, around 8: 30pm)

Both the main pharmicist and the pharmacy are completely 1 rated service. Unwilling to help their customers. If you must not believe then I assume you folks can't read all the bad reviews about this particular place.

The security guard that used to work there around 2017-18 was awesome. I'd go there almost every other night to get some post-work midnight munchies and he was just an absolute sweetheart.

One of the worst customer service. Never have enough employees for check out. Today, 10 people in line. Only one register open. Long line at cosmetics also. I went thru self serve, one of those were down also. I had to stay & offer an older lady help.

Terrible pharmacy. Don’t come here. Writing this from the waiting area. Slow and indifferent to customers. Whole group of us have been waiting for hours. They keep screwing up the prescription orders. As others have said, expect a long wait, and if they tell you it’ll be ready “soon”? Hahahaha no.

If you call a day in advance or the morning of you can get your prescriptions quickly. If you wait last minute then there’s usually a lineup.

I called to ask if I can pick up my prescription and I was told that it would be ready in an hour. I came to pick up my pills just to be told that it will be ready in a few minutes. Had to wait an hour just for them to keep telling me it will be ready in a few minutes again. When they were ready, I was just told that I could only have one and I need to pick up the rest tomorrow. It would have been fine if they told me this before that they "didnt have enough" I would've been okay. But to make me wait for more than an hour just to me tell they didnt have enough is frustrating. The lady couldnt even look me in the eye as she was telling me this.

Many times you have to wait longer than they promised to pick up your medications. Some staff don't have customer service skills. There is a time I went to buy my cream for skin rushes. I PAID IN CASH. They always promise a certain dates still the cream is not available. Until I decided to call a pharmacy store which is available on their store. When I ask for refund of my money.shoppers drugmart gave me gift card instead of cash.unbelievable the way they returning your cash money.gift card which you have to use also to their store. Very tricky.

I ordered photo enlargements for my wife's birthday. They advertise 7-10 business days for delivery. It's been 16 business days and still no photos. Her birthday has come and gone. I have called to ask about the status and they say they will call me when they are ready and they don't know when it will be. Can't they pick up a phone and call their printer to follow up for me? Or give me their number and I'll follow up! Telling me there is nothing they can do and not to call back is not what I call customer service. I will never give them my business for photo developing again.

Worst pharmacy experience. I went to fill a prescription antibiotic for my 9 yr.old, the pharmacist Imran treated me like a criminal. He was so judgmental with a puzzled look on his face staring at the prescription for 15 min asking why is the doctor from Markham? What is this antibiotic for? What type of infection? How much does your child weight? Then he said the prescribed dosage was too low and he had to check with the doctor? I was like excuse me? It's Saturday evening, the doctor office is closed and I cannot wait until Monday to fill this because my child is not well. If you cannot fill it I will go elsewhere, he went then go elsewhere. WOW absolutely disgusting. I will never fill a prescription there as long as that person is there.
