I went to this location and bought some cosmetic supplies. I got an issue about the eyebrow pomade that I bought, but Riva/Reva, Shona, Rahal and Emilia did an excellent job in helping me replacing it with a new one. Excellent service from these people. 5 stars each one of them.

On August 24th, 2023 I went to the shoppers drug in Parkwood plaza. I was there around 7: 35-7: 40. The woman at the counter is so lazy. She did not greet any customers just stood in the corner on her cell phone or was leaning over the counter doing nothing. I ask her about a product in the Maybelline line and she did not even attempt to help. This is one of the laziest people I have ever met. Give the job to someone you wants to work. I ask her if there is anyone that can help me and she said that the person is on break and will be back at 8: 30

There is only one person working there, and EVERY time we go there is a long wait time, which by the end she tells you I’m busy come back later! Terrible management. Literally worst shoppers drug mart.

Convenient located at York Mills. Closer to all the major highways. Lot of parking available. Customer service was great so far never had issues however I found expired products near the bread section. Staff should remove the expired products since there are Senior citizens who come to that store can but old products and can get sick. If there are Senior merchandisers or front end managers should look into old products on a daily basis. I have used the Canada post for mailing letters and the lady is very professional.

The lady at the cosmetics section was very rude and impolite. She was following us and starring me and my friend down at the aisles. As well as trying to take our stuff from us and acting like we would still it.

If only I could give this location zero stars, we went to this location to a photo clicked for citizenship and the staff just at first said that they don't do it here. The staff at the front kept lying, the machine is broken and after talking to manager they said, we don't have anyone trained to take pictures here at this location. The staff kept on lying at first. Worst customer service ever. Shoppers drug mart need to train their staff to be truthful to client.

I was yelled at by a member of the staff for checking in if my prescription has been renewed. She was extremely rude, unprofessional and treated me in a demeaning and inappropriate manner. What makes it worse is that the medication I take is for my mental health, including anxiety, and treating someone in a vulnerable state this way is just plain cruel (not to mention that pharmacists are supposed to be members of your "care" team). It was triggering and hard to deal with. Goes without saying that I have switched pharmacies.

The woman pharmacist I think Chinese is very rude. I was already infront of her but as if she was blind. She didn’t entertain any question. I’m not sure but as if she’s races.

I’ve noticed that a lot of products in the beauty aisle is expired. Especially in the nail care section. Many polishes were expired and separating. No expiry checks at this location it seems

Worst shoppers drug mart around. Debt machines go down, cashiers don’t know what a line up is and allow people to just come and go at the counter as they please, the sales prices are ALWAYS OUT OF DATE.my personal advice, go to the parkway shoppers drug mart, it’s bigger, cleaner and the machines actually work.

Got my booster mrna vaccine there recently. They are overloaded and overworked. Not their fault. The government tells us to get vaccinated but try getting an appointment somewhere. There is not enough vaccine and not enough places to go get vaccinated.

Worse pharmacy customer service ever! Been waiting for 15min for them to hang up on me. I called back, waited another 6min finally a lady picked up. Asked if they have covid vaccine available and she said no. I asked another question and she says thank you and hangs up on me while talking. So rude! Wished I knew her name.

Worst Shoppers Drug Mart in the area.

1. Pharmacy staff are very rude and unprofessional. You are called on the phone, that your prescription medication is ready, but when you go there, after waiting a good 20 minutes to be served, you discovered, that the pharmacy staff had filled the most expensive meds, even if the cheaper and covered ones are available and prescribed by your doctor.

They charge a fee of $12.59 on top of your medication and not the covered one. I don't have time for their attitude, therefore I fill my prescriptions at Parkway Mall Metro pharmacy.

2. When you also ask the pharmacy staff for over the counter medication, they couldn't be bothered less, they mumble something to get rid of you and point you to an aisle, where you are on your own to find your medicine. It is a small pharmacy, lots of frustration for the consumer and a waste of time, trying to find what you need, with too much of an attitude for my liking, so pass!

3. Same situation goes with the Post Office. One of their staff takes frequent washrooms breaks, never picks up the phone, if you received a mail delivery notice, are on hold for a good 5 minutes or more and again, if you ask where the package is from, then you are told, that she is not allowed to give this info, even though, at this particular location, she used to tell you. Now, all you get is, the robotic attitude, so she doesn't have to check the sender's destination, or why or who charged you a fee, to pick up your parcel and in the end you receive a "wishy-washy" customer service.

Both the pharmacy and the post office, "talk down" to you, are demeaning and not helpful at all. They should be replaced, by all means, with other people, that want and can handle those jobs.

4. Cosmetic counter lead by Emilia provides a very good service, is attentive to customer needs and wants and am happy with her and some of her staff.

5. Gordon, the longest staff at this location, is very courteous and helpful when approached.
Because of Emilia, Gordon and John the cashier's supervisor, which are very professional, I still visit SDM at this location.

Otherwise, I couldn't be bothered with them. They need to straighten up their attitudes at Pharmacy, Canada Post Mail and restocking/grocery clerks. If they succeed in doing that, I will raise their ratings. Only then!

I am coming here from most recent 3 years, and experience excellent client assistance. However, since new owner has come, there is a lack of staff. Staff around there is buckling down yet they need to endure when its occupied because of absence of representatives. Storekeeper needs to recruit more workers

This location is the worst for customer service. I was given a constant runaround for serious medications that I need. The staff is rude and obnoxious. I will be looking to go to another pharmacy.

This location has got to be one of the worst for responses and effective support in person.
It's often a 15min wait to speak to a pharmacist and they rarely can provide the support you request that is easily attained at say the location by York Mills and Bayview.
To also be brushed off by a pharmacist when you are seeking support, like today's experience w the male pharmacist. There is one male pharmacy assistant that usually saves the day but he can only do so much and this sometimish service that's TIRED! Folx using this service deserve better.

Went in to get a vaccine not Pandemic related. I ordered the shot on Wednesday and went in to receive it on Friday. After I paid for the prescription I was told they were too busy to administer it, and would have to come back. I made them refund my money. If you are too busy for your customers then maybe you shouldn't take their money first.

Bought some Petro Canada gift cards on June 20 and today went to the gas station guess what $100 gift card has zero balance and another $50 card have $4 in it. I am beyond furious with shoppers for this terrible service.

Careful buying things on sale. When I went to pay my items they went through at full price. I know many Shoppers do this because its an all around bad business when it comes to customer respect and honesty but this place has tried to do it multiple times to me. So beware.

I have been wearing the same perfume for 16 years, and wanted to change it up a bit. Emilia Luciano, oh wow her knowledge is amazing! She asked me what smells I like and picked a beautiful perfume that is just right for me. We had a great conversation and she ended up selling me 2 bottles of different perfumes I loved. I am very happy with the service I received from Emilia.

To the post office manager, The staff who are in the closing shift in Jun. 10.2021. You are not nice.not professional! We were arrived a little bit late. She told us "why you are not come in the morning 9 am? Siting all day? " I really respect essential workers. I know you are exhausted. But how did you know my husband not essential worker? I'm not working at home during the day? SO end up we did not ship our stuff to overseas.

Some polite and patient pharmacy staff but Covid appointment was 45 minutes late and we were the only people waiting to be helped, no line up for anything. After waiting for 20 minutes my 90 year old mother required a washroom and was told there wasn’t one available. As she lived in the neighborhood we drove home and we’re back in ten minutes. The low rating is the result an organizational issue in appointments and available washroom. If your open for shopping you must have washrooms available.

My experience at this pharmacy a couple of days ago was very disappointing!

A couple days ago, I visited this location to pick up my blood pressure medication, and was told that my doctor had not responded to the fax for a repeat. Since I had no remaining tablet for my next dose, I asked if I can have a couple tabs on loan until it was approved. The junior personnel told me that they don't accommodate such requests! I was in a panic knowing that my health would be at risk!

In desperation, I resorted to pay the $15.00 for the pharmacist to give approval. That's what I was told the day before as my next option. The personnel went back to the computer and told me that she could not do that.because it had only been 5 months since I started that medication. She said, if it was over 6 months there wouldn't be a problem! I told her that I wasn't given that information. So, I had no way of knowing.
Frustrated, I asked to speak with her manager, and stepped aside to wait.

A lady, who was in the line.told me that the head pharmacist was at the back behind a computer listening the whole time. If she wanted to intervene she could have. This person was not happy with the way I was being treated. She advised me to right a review.

The manager never showed her face to see me. So I left feeling quite frustrated by the way I was treated, and concerned for my health!

An hour later, the pharmacy called to inform me that my medication was ready for pick up. When I got to the pick up window, a different personnel wanted me to know that a note from the head pharmacist said.that my doctor still did not respond to the fax, and that she had approved it. But why now? I wanted to ask, but did not. It was my full 3-month supply! She could have helped all this time!

This pharmacy manager is too late trying to appease me. I am no longer with this location.

The only suggestion I have is to post the pharmacy fax number on your website and in the location information on your voice mail. I was on hold for at least 20 mins on a Sunday just trying to get the fax. Thanka

This is my local pharmacy and ALL the staff, managers and Canada Post are wonderful and helpful. The Shoppers website for prescriptions is terrific and saves me time and worry. Set up Auto Refill and sit back and relax.

Not an overly large store, but the staff is friendly & helpful. On top of the regular pharmacy stuff, there's a few freezers and chillers for eggs & drinks, but it's too small for fresh foods and fruits & vegetables.

SHOCKINGLY terrible protocol on COVID-19! I was actually TOUCHED by a staff member, who ALSO led another customer to walk by me - within a foot, and then stood near a third customer (I mean again, within a foot) inspecting shelves!

DON'T GO TO THIS STORE IF YOU WANT TO STAY WELL! This store deserves NEGATIVE stars incidentally.

Despite of repeatedly letting the pharmacist/Assistant know that my 2 year old kid is not covered by any private insurance, they kept checking and told us that the expired insurance card (expired due to job change) was accepted partially (I believe due to the insurer not blocking the card on time). We are asked to pay the balance and they did not consider it to process under the OHIP for children.

Usually pretty quick cashiers. They have a second cashier when it's busy who takes sales that don't include lottery. I've seen the woman in cosmetics also open for sales of non lotto items. I don't use the pharmacy much as Costco is much cheaper with the dispensing fee.

Different price came up at cash than advertised in store.
The manage on duty refused to do the scanner code with an extra $10 off. Said this store doesn't do it. Then after I pointed to where it says it at both cash points. Turned around and said oh we don't do it on these products (headphones).

Poor service. 2 cashes, always clogged with people buying lottery tickets, often only one is open till they call someone. Meanwhile, 3rd cash sits idle, could EASILY be turned into 2 self-serve kiosks like in move civilized areas.

I had food poisoning and the medication I got was obvious! The pharmacists delayed for over an hour for just 3 prescription medication!
And it was quite clear that I was sick and a bit disoriented, and yet the man behind the pharmacy counter asks me to go look for some OTC medication MYSELF instead of helping me find it!
I go to the counter again after an hour, to only realise that one of the medication itself was wrong, and that took another 15 to pack.
The only think positive was the lady at the prescription pick up, who actually made sure the prescription was right!
Never again and absolutely the worst service!

WORST service ever. The pharmacist will not help you if there is a line behind you (how does that make sense?). Despite having my prescription and them just needing to make a phonecall to another Shoppers to verify my prescription they told me the line was too long and the wait/process would be too long. They're open till 10pm and refused to do their job at 5pm!

I went to this location looking for Splat! Hair color - which they did not carry. However - when I asked the lady at the counter if they carried peroxide to bleach hair she told me to go to a beauty supply shop. As she was telling me this - I looked behind her and there it was - peroxide bleach for hair. Right there on the shelf. You have ONE JOB. To know the products you are carrying. Not only did she have NO clue - she was sending a customer SOMEPLACE ELSE! It felt like she just wanted to get away from me - must've interrupted her daydream at the counter.

Don't go here for meds. I've been going here for the last twelve years and recently the service in the pharmacy has become terrible. I went in Thursday for insulin - which is something I need to live - and they said it wouldn't be ready until Friday. I went back Friday and stood in line for over ten minutes while the three people behind the counter ignored the line. When they finally did start serving people they ignored me even though I was next in line and went to a customer who had just walked up 30 seconds before. I had to stand there and tell them I was next in line. When I went to take my medication tonight I realized that they had only filled one of the two prescriptions I had dropped off Thursday. I called them, it took them another ten someodd minutes to figure out what happened to the other prescription because they hadn't bothered to enter it into the computer when I dropped it off, and then they said to come back a third time to pick it up. When I told them I had a small child in bed and couldn't wake him up and they refused to deliver it because I didn't have the cash on hand to pay for it. They wouldn't accept the Visa debit over the phone. So now I have to go without my medication because it apparently takes three trips to this terrible pharmacy to get a prescription filled. Needless to say come tomorrow morning I will be transferring all of my prescriptions somewhere else and will never use this pharmacy again.

I love Shoppers Drug Mart. I am a loyal customer and have shopped at various Shopper's for years. The best is their PC Optimum program well lately I am NOT receiving the points I have earned since this new PC Mastercard program augmented. For starters I cannot use that hard when doing a transaction on line.
When I email customer care they are forever looking into my transaction and never follow up. I'm debating getting rid of the PC Mastercard and just using my PC Optimum card in the store this way I can control the outcome of points and not go through the extra hassle. It's too bad because it was a good program until the two were joined. I have to give 1 star when at one time I would have given 5.

she was very rude and trying to double charge me and didnt accept that i already paid for the product.very poor customer service

MEANING of

CUSTOMER SERVICES

Service was good 4-5 years ago and now every time the bar getting lower and making things difficult for the
PAYING CUSTOMERS!

Management should do more to training the staff and being helpful will increase the sales and ratings as well
