Shoppers Drug Mart

I came to the pharmacy with a prescription and they said it will be ready in 1 hour. Went back after 2.5 hours and it wasn't ready. If you need something urgently avoid this Shoppers.
The slowest pharmacy im the world.
I see tons of negative reviews for this pharmacy. Looks like they are not doing anything to improve their service.

I recently had a terrible experience with a very, very bad scratch on my lip and into my face. I spoke to 5 male doctors who said “just let it heal”. Finally after 7 full days of crying about my face and out of desperation I was searching the shelves at Shoppers to find something to help. I reached out to a lovely, beautiful lady named Randi behind the pharmacist counter and thank god I did. My lip and face went to have a massive horrible looking cut to practically healed within 24 hours. Randis compassion and empathy is rare and hard to find. I don’t mean to be dramatic here but this will leave a scar still however it’s 98% better than it would have been. I will, my dad will, my close friends and family will all be forever grateful for your kindness. I genuinely don’t know how to make sure you know I’m thankful except to say that this scar is now a beautiful story that I will tell for the rest of my life. Thank you so much for how hard you worked in school and training yo help me. Even more though, your empathy… I’ll never forget it. Thank you so much.

I’ve never experienced such poor service from a shoppers drug mart. When trying to get assistance for my elderly father’s medications the pharmacy was rude and dismissive. They sound overwhelmed, more staff are needed in order to better serve your clientele and support staff. Do better.

Pharmacists always ignore people who are waiting for “dropping the prescription off, picking the prescription up, and consultation”. My waiting for any of these above is always over 40 minutes to get the help or to get the prescription.

This pharmacy is ridiciolous both ladys have anger issues Shirieen and Noor they have been wasting my time for the last 3 days and not helpful at all i will never go there again and i dont recomend this to any one

Margaret is a wonderful Pharmacist at this location. She is very helpful whenever I have questions! Very kind and positive.:)

Horrible pharmacy. Extremely slow and messes up a lot of prescriptions. Most people that work here should not be in retail, let alone healthcare.

I was at this shoppers last night and was blown away by Shoppers total lack of concern for employee and customer safety. This particular Shoppers has been robbed several times a week for a number of weeks. As a result Shoppers has "increased" security measures.they're using their staff as security guards. I was really surprised, angered, and confused by their decision to do this.

Because robberies are being committed at this location almost daily they are keeping the entrance to the store locked during at risk hours; unlocking and locking as need be when customers come and go. That, in and of itself is a scary scenario, never mind that Shoppers has put a young lady (maybe 20 years old or younger judging on looks) in charge of the door. And, as if that isn't enough to garner criticism.the woman that was "guarding" the door was very slim and non muscular.

With all due respect to this wonderful young lady, who should be given a huge bonus from Shoppers for her courage and loyalty, the scenario looked more like Shoppers was choosing to use a Chihuahua to guard the hen house from the wolves. Quite frankly, I was shocked! I could not, for the life of me understand the logic or justification for such complacency in dealing with their security issues and for risking employee lives by positioning them at the front door to prevent the robbers from entering. Seriously? Shoppers? Loblaws? You don't have enough money (or heart) to hire real security to protect your employees and customers?

That said, I am requesting that you cease and desist from using your employees as human shields to protect your inventory!

I checked online, They have both flu shot and a just walkin symbol. I fill out the online flu shot assessment and then went to store me and elderly mom. They tell me that you need an appointment and there's no senior flu shot.
Not very happy, why have a online system that is not updated.

Worst pharmacy I’ve been to. Pharmacist was rude and impatient with an elderly lady asking about products on the shelf because she was busy preparing a vaccine. When I called about getting a rapid test they said they’re not taking appointments but when I arrived they said they’re too busy and can’t do the test but she has no problem accepting the three clients ahead of me wanting the vaccine.

Don't buy gift cards here. Received $150 Visa gift card as present. Went to use it later and the number and cut off security number was cut out of the card. Went back to store, called several times, no one cared or could do anything. Called customer service & after back and after a month received a credit for a shoppers gift card. Which cannot be used online by the way. I don't trust shoppers Drug Mart at all, always checked the scanned prices and gift cards before you leave the store.

Me & my friends used to go here often during lunch. It's basically a convenience store that has everything you could possibly need during or after school. The food options were lacking though because while they did have vegan options, the food was seldom fresh. It was well organized though, and the staff were quite friendly.besides the staff in the beauty section. Incredibly rude, condescending and distracted. I have found myself waiting in front of them and them being so enamoured by their phone that even after I tried to get their attention, they brushed me off. It's only after I've given up or moved left to find someone else that they've run after me, condescendingly offering to check out the order. Yeah.no, thanks. This has happened more than once over the years that we simply stopped going.

Shopping here is made easy when Sandra is around. Other than that, I would never be seen in shoppers. Hire more people like Sandra.
