Shoppers Drug Mart

Worst Shoppers pharmacy in the city. Stuck with Shoppers cause of the online refills, but it's not worth it anymore. This pharmacy never picks up the phone, has long lines to pick up that never move (snails pace service), and have staff that will just ignore people waiting to drop off or pick up. Pure garbage of a pharmacy. Wherever I end up will be better than this place.

I challenge you to find lower rated Shoppers Drug Mart on maps. At 2.5 stars and sinking this is the lowest I've seen and for good reason. Slow service, no one ever picking up the phone, sending calls back into the queue repeatedly, ignoring customers, the list goes on. This place only survives because Sobeys is right beside it. But trust me, the convenience of Sobeys is not worth the inconvenience, incompetence and apathy of this Shoppers. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

The pharmacy team, customer service and it’s organization has seemed to drastically improve in comparison to last year. I appreciate how incredibly helpful and supportive the service has been lately!

I have been coming to this pharmacy for over 10 years and will be looking into switching pharmacies. Such awful service, prescriptions are never ready, literally stood there for 20 min waiting on important meds that I was messaged was ready and the team couldn’t get it together and I walked out. I need my meds and cousins get them! DON’T USE THIS PHARMACY! Not sure what changed, but it’s time to take my business elsewhere! You are handling goods that people need and depend on, this is terrible! Someone needs to manage this group much better!

The manger was the most useless item in the store. Useless woman told me to use self checkout instead of cashing me out. She’s clearly racist and useless.

No one picks up the phone, waiting at the pharmacy you actually watch them ignore the phone ringing. Prescriptions do not get filled for hours. Completely unacceptable service.

Worst experience with the pharmacist and the associate. They absolutely need sensitivity training. No one should make fun of anyone's medical condition. I would give a negative rating if I could.

Giving 5 stars to this location because of the stellar service I received from Natasha at Pharmacy. Upon picking up my prescription I was notified that I am due to pay $172. I then asked if both my insurance and my husband insurance had covered the cost. She noticed only 1 went through and one had an error. She offered to call the insurance to get it corrected. With the many people lined up behind me I offered that I can pick up later so she can attend the others with their pick up. Upon my return she was already on the phone with the insurance getting the required information. To conclude, she was able to get the charges go through on both the insurance we have and she saved me $172. Thank you very much for your help today, Natasha. I truly appreciate the service I received from you today.

We used to leave for medication here for 10 -15 minutes now it's one hour wait this is ridiculous I've never heard of this in my life they need to change this back there 6 staff working no one in line 2 of them on the phone

Horrible service trying to connect to them by phone. No one picks up. I was on hold for 15-20 mins.
I think I'll take my business elsewhere. Adios!

Worst service.my prescription was sent to them @ 2: 30 PM and wasn't ready till after 6 PM. I was told to either wait for an hr or come back. I chose to come back after 1.5 hr and was told it isn't ready and they only have 4 tablets. I was again asked to wait for 10 mins and I came back after 15.
I was again asked to wait for 2 mins which actually was 10 mins wait.

Not sure why such inefficiency.

Melissa is such a rude employee that she don’t have any customer service skills, please it is a humble request to the management that something needs to be done regarding this. People don’t come to the store to deal with such a rude behaviour.

I cannot understand why this store opens at 10 on Sundays. All other stores are open at 8am or 24 hours. This is a Drug Store and should be open early for access to medication needed right away. Just not acceptable

The only good thing about this place is that it has Canada Post.
What kind of drug shop is out of surgical masks and COVID testing kits for over a week. Same for baby formula.

Oh man literally no staff here. No one offers to help. You should go here only if have absolutely nothing to do with your time. You will stay here for mire than 30ins just to get your self in the line. No management at all.

Terrible store service. No one seems to care here. The pharmacy is an even bigger joke. I’m standing at the counter writing this 7 white coats and there’s a massive line. Yuck do better.

This is probably the worst pharmacy, never mind Shoppers Drug Mart, anywhere. 2 1/2 hr wait, mid-afternoon on a Monday for a basic 7-day antiobiotic prescription that was faxed by a physician directly to the dispensary. No communication, no urgency, no concern and no apology.

I wish I can give these guys some -ve stars. This facility is running by group of incompitent people who have no idea why people come here and what their emergency.

I went here for my parents (who are in their late 70) Covid Test which is required for emergency travel and has to be done before 72 hours of departure. Even if I did it 72 hours before their departure time, Still they depart I didn't get any response from these guys. Every alternate person I spoke giving their own version of story. First time I heard they sent to some LAB for testing which doesn't work on weekends, which they didn't informed at the time of taking sample for test.

All nonsense persons work here.they don't bother about your emergency or give you proper informations.

Just avoid this place if you are planning for COVID Test for your travel purpose.

This store used to be great, but has gone downhill. It is almost impossible to get through on the phone, the line is always busy, and then when the line finally starts to ring, no one answers the phone. I am currently on hold on the phone trying to get through to the pharmacy for a very important prescription and the automated voice has been saying "one moment please" for 26 minutes. This has become a recurring issue. There are other Shoppers nearby that answer the phones, I recommend going there. Hold the stores you shop at accountable for their service, if they can't provide adequate service then shop elsewhere.

No care for patients safety. They refuse to pick up the phone forcing patients to go to the store and risk the spread of covid 19

My last visit was super frustrating. The store was at capacity so it was crowded and difficult to maneuver due to the narrow aisles and store footprint.

They are so unorganized at this location! I used to go all the time never had any problems. The last 3 months have been awful. My doctor faxed over a prescription 4x before it was filled. I went in 4x before it was filled I tried to call ahead all of the times I went in but they never answer the phone. Then on my 3rd attempt one of the assistants let me know they changed their direct line and gave me the number. I feel like that is something you should update on your website especially if I have been calling so many times and getting no answer. I had to call my doctor on the spot and get them to give a verbal prescription because they could not get a hold of the pharmacy. My doctor once again faxed it over while I was in person and they said they finally got it which was a little sketchy. I am totally unsatisfied and will not be returning to that pharmacy. ALSO WERE NOT WEARING MASKS DURING A PANDEMIC! RIDICULOUS
