The customer service / Phone waits / Ability to get prescriptions at this location has really gotten worse over the last 12-24 months.we are considering switching pharmacy's due to that general decline of this location. I would look elsewhere if you need a new pharmacy

Would never go here again. Tried to get my kid medicine from there but they close the doors and hour early and ignore you if you go to the door.

The associate manager John is both rude and ignorant. Lack of problem solving and managerial skills. Wouldn't own any responsibility and blame the customers for mis communicating with one of his staffs. Would not compensate for out of pockets losses due to a staff mistake and simply refer the client to call the 1800 number. Both the staff and this manager John need to be retrained.

Prices keep on changing I still don’t get it why. They are playing game with numbers points air-miles. I gave up with their prices changing every week

Incredibly slow to process prescriptions. Dismissive and unfriendly service at pharmacy counter. Go to a different location and save yourself the hassle.

WOW, people with Karen issues actually should shop online more often, for sure! This store is so great, and the staff is amazing! You can tell that everyone enjoys working there, and helping customers, so the managers and the owner are sure doing something right! I shop here all the time, and will continue to do so, as well as recommend this location to others! <3

Staff are friendly and helpful, always can find whatever I’m looking for is in stock at this location. The pharmacist are great here as well. They take the time to direct you towards the best products for your need. Good location

I wished to make a review, as I am not at all pleased with this Shoppers Drugmart on Stonehaven Avenue, Newmarket. And because of this I will no longer be going into this store for our shopping needs. Neither will our immediate family members. No doubt, we purchase a few thousand dollars worth of goods per year at this store.

Last week, I purchased a defective product which they did not honour to take back for a full refund or exchange. This just proves to me that we need to shop more on Amazon instead of popping into stores like this. This is unfortunate, as I do like to support local stores. At least Amazon honours their clients when products are deficient.

The problem was a gel orthotic product which I purchased for a designer pair of shoes that I own. It was advertised on the package as being an ideal insole cushion and support product for ladies shoes. As soon as I got home I realized that it did not work as advertised and it made a lot of noise when I walked in my shoes. I was not at all pleased and I decided that I would drive right back to the store. When I arrived I asked the cashier to call the manager since she mentioned that she could not take it back. The manager who’s name was Stephen said the same. I mentioned to him that the reason I was returning this product was not even really because of the $20 value, but rather for the principle of it all. We purchase a lot of products from this store yearly, and it was only fair that the one time I had something to return, they would honour this for a good client. He said no, he could not. However, he mentioned that had it been a life brand product, he could have taken it back. Funny, don’t you think?

I also purchased a $200 cologne which I will also now be returning. Their loss, as they do not see the “BIG picture”.

It is very unfortunate, but it seems best that we support companies who support us. Next time, I will be ordering products like this from Amazon. At least I know that they are always there for us when a product is defective. I have never in all my years as a PRIME member had a problem when a product was defective and needed to be returned for a full credit.

Todays experience says a lot about the owner of this store, and how he guides his employees. Not a smart business man, no doubt. He has lost us as a customer. Perhaps for a small loss of this small return he could have retained all the business we had continued to provide to him, since the opening of his store.

Terrible customer service.

This location is fine if you're just using the self checkout, but if you have only cash, you're out of luck. 3 of the employees spend hours on end outside smoking, and I understand that one of them is the manager. I work in the same plaza, and we like to play a game of how long the shopper smokers have been outside for. We once timed them for an hour and a half without them going back inside. This wouldn't bother me normally, but I've had to walk out multiple times without what I needed due to only having cash on me and not being able to find a single cashier to serve me. Why bother paying people just to smoke? Seems like a silly business choice.

I have been going to this Shoppers for 8 years and they offered, in my opinion, the best service all along. However, since about 3 years ago their level of client care has gone down the drain. I went in there on four different occasions in the last 10 days and had to leave without completing my purchases due to the long line up. One cashier (on training) and four other employees chit chatting and pretending that they are putting away inventory. Manager doesn't care and you see her all the time smoking outside. The owner's respond to me was "we'll look into this". Anyway, I switch to REXALL and honestly, its not as busy and they are offering a much better service.

-Just to clarify, I did call your client care toll free number before writing this review on Google. I was put on hold for 35 minutes and had to end my call due to my work schedule... Your client care department is a joke too. Don’t suggest people to call them they will be disappointed at their level of service too. This happens all the time as a company's market share grows their level of service shrinks.

My family had covid a week ago, now i start showing some symptoms, really need some rapid test kits to monitor myself, there are tons laying on the floor, but the cashier kept saying the store is scheduled to distribute the test kit on Saturday, not any other hours, even there are leftovers. I called the store manager, she told me those are different packages for business, not for individual. I know what the package look like, exactly the same. I can't believethis is happening in Canada. Shame
