Has to be the worst pharmacy in town. Not once but twice have I experienced my prescription not being ready when I was told it would be ready. Waiting over 5 days for a prescription to be ready is absolutely ridiculous. The staff is also rude and unhelpful at the pharmacy.

My wife was just there picking up medicine, and she was told to wait for 45 minutes. She waited for 55, and got to the counter to pick up, they said they don’t even have the medicine in stock. So there was a commotion among the workers there, then magically they had it and started mixing it after waiting for an hour. Very bad customer service, whom ever was the pharmacist tonight did not want to do their job. (Sept 26TH 2023)

Terrible location at Westmount. The last 4 times I’ve gone to pick up my prescription refills there has a been an issue. There is never enough stock and my refills are always delayed. Staff seem disorganized and are not helpful as all. I’ve finally had enough and switched to another pharmacy.

Incredibly rude and un-helpful staff at the pharmacy within this and many other Shoppers Drug Mart locations. Whichever department is hiring these seemingly un-certified "pharmacists" and pharmacy "assistants" should most likely re-evaluate the hiring strategy and perhaps double-check the pharmacy staff's qualifications, certifications and potential educational background whilst dealing with the sick. I also witnessed a bully-type mutual attitude amongst staff while dealing with paying customers with mental health issues as well as the handicapped. I will never spend money at this store again. I've already switched to Rexall Drugstore.

I deal with the pharmacy on a daily basis and all the pharmacists there are amazing. They've done everything above and and beyond to ensure my daily medications are ready promptly in the mornings.

Absolute WORST pharmacy I have ever been too. You would have thought you were in a third world country! The hospital faxed over my prescription, I went in (post surgery) and they said it would take 30 minutes, that’s longer than the usual 15 minutes at any other reputable pharmacy. They filled one of three prescriptions, the pharmacist threw the prescription at me at the pick up area, no explanation of how to take it, when or even side effects. When I asked about the other prescriptions he said oh I’ll help you and walked away and was doing something irrelevant to my situation for 10 minutes. At this point I walked out crying, went to Costco and had what I needed immediately. This place, the pharmacists and pharmacy assistants are rude, inconsiderate, incompetent and a stain on the community. I will never be back. Save yourself the aggravation and go to Costco instead. Shame on them!

I have been a customer here for over 25 years. The service has been going downhill for a long time but it is now intolerable. Always a lineup, always some kind of problem, not just for me but everyone in the lineup just shake their heads. They are unorganized, prescriptions overflowing in baskets everywhere. Lots of people working behind the counter with heads down, no eye contact. One person on cash most times. I've finally hit my breaking point and changing pharmacies.

Thank you for the response below. You say the same thing to everyone on here. Not good enough.

I had to cancel my Covid shot because I caught a cold, been trying to call for 2 days and either no one pics up the phone or I’m on hold for 45 minutes before I hang up. If I had to call for a prescription this would not be ok. So I can’t get through and the site has no cancellation option…

Very poor service, have had to wait more than 24 hours for refills on more than one occasion and have spent far too much time waiting to get mistakes and errors resolved.
The store may be fine, but the pharmacy has caused us to leave for another.

If I could rate THIS Shoppers Drugmart a 0 star, I would. I have had the pleasure of being a Shopper’s customer for more than 40 years, but THIS location has changed that.

BEWARE! So many issues, I’m sure I cannot share them all. However, here are the most predominant and frequent.

Long wait in line to pick up prescriptions due to lack of organization and/ or pharmacy staff capability! Bad pharmacy leadership creates an ineffective team.

Rude pharmacists, raising their voices at customers and demonstrating no empathy.

No collaboration, pharmacists have no idea how to demonstrate/provide customer service.

When calling by phone with questions, they rarely answer the phone.

Moving to your competitor!

In a very competitive retail landscape, customer service is what sets good retailers apart. Pls go find a pharmacy that cares about you as their customer.

Went in for a little help with my prescription spoke to an amazing nurse at the pharmacy here, Her name was Debra, very explanatory and detailed extraordinarily helpful! I was very greatful to have spoken to someone with such knowledge and someone willing to help great asset to your team!

Everyone at the pharmacy has a terrible attitude and is never kind. Got a phone call being yelled at by the pharmacist for not picking up my medications while i was ADMITTED in the hospital for a week. Disgusting people, get your medicine literally anywhere else. (Ironic too because i’m sure they’re aware i pick up ANXIETY medication lol)

I just waited over 7 minutes 'on hold' on the phone and gave up. The staff at checkouts are great and make up area as well, but the rest of the place is wait, wait and wait some more. Won't be back! And the form reply to bad reviews is ridiculous and useless because nothing changes.

The dispensary here is so inefficient. You wait for a very long time on hold when calling only to have several assistance pick up and repeatedly ask why you are calling. The post office hours are really unreliable. The inventory is inadequate. I can’t understand why shoppers vary so much store to store.

Wonderful place to get COVID vaccine. Quick, organized, professional. Was in an out and witnessed many others receive their vaccine as well. It's people like the team here that are making a true difference during the pandemic. Thank you.

The store staff themselves are awesome, very helpfull many timesI've called and asked them to check stock on something on a shelf and thier are more than happy to help, the pharmacist themselves are great, I don't know about some of the staff behind the pharmacy counter at times, not sure if they are new or not fully trained but everything I am there, they can't find people's meds being picked up, or telling them they have been picked up already when they havnt, that's frustrating, allways have to call the pharmacist on site to help them

Becky is doing an amazing job for the community with the covid vaccine. The pharmacists here Manal and ankini are so committed to patient care I’ve seen it first hand. Excellent pharmacy even though they’re busy they give realistic wait times so you know what to expect

The pharmacy doesn't fulfill the customer service aspect. They blocked off the drive thru and refuse to answer their phone if it's busy. It's all part of the job. The usually frazzled cashier is always friendly though, always feel sorry for them

It’s sad that when I went into this location and saw many people lined up to get their COVID vaccination, there was a lady spewing her negative beliefs on the younger people in line. There’s a time and place to voice your opinion. Please refrain from trying to convince others. They made their choice and it’s not for you to try and instill your beliefs on those that had made a personal choice just like you.

Worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. Average review rating, particularly the number of one star reviews, makes me believe I'm not the only one who thinks so. Line wait times are consistently long due to understaffing, and the staff seem overwhelmed. Add 24 hours to the promised pickup times on average, even for already packaged items like eye drops. This location is simply too busy for it's own good. Changing pharmacies and won't be back.

As a retired 'Health Care Professional of 41 years, I can say that Becky SDM Owner is very knowledgeable and helpful, providing me with free consultation and advisement on my drugs and medications for the last 3 years. The medication system of dispensing is always prompt and on time when ordering by telephone with appointed date. Staff have been knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. For the above reasons I will continue to shop at this Shoppers.

Been trying to get my prescription for 3 days.they claim to have no received the fax my midwife had sent over while i was on the phone with her 3 days ago.and before that for the same prescription they told me 20-30 minutes.i dropped it off at around 3: 30-4pm and went back to pick it up at 8, it somehow still wasn’t ready and they had the audacity to say we should come back tomorrow for it.i’m not sure how busy they got in 4 hours but i needed one bottle of 30 tablets and they needed over 12 hours to fill it apparently.while i was in last time a gentleman was also having the same issues thought they had made him wait 4 days! This is the worst pharmacy in town especially if you’re just trying to get things done as a pregnant woman, they spike your anger so easily.

The pharmacy here is the worst I have ever experienced. Every time I go to pick up my prescription it's a hassle. I was just there on wed to pick up and dispite calling the day before I still had to wait an hour for it to be ready. When I finally received my prescription they handed me two bags, I said I only wanted one thing and wasn't sure what the other one was for. They gave it to me and said it's your other prescription. Turns out it wasn't mine at all. It was another customers. After a lot of confusion on their part and having to get a supervisor they were finally able to refund me for the prescription that wasn't mine. This was on top of the hour wait. I get that they are busy but that's why I always call a day or two before. The fact that they gave me someone else's prescription is very worrisome.

Pharmacist today at 4: 30 was not wearing a mask. The store was very busy, many customers clearly vulnerable individuals. I won’t go back to this Shoppers again.

I was in the Store today.three people proceeded up the aisle going the wrong way according to the arrows on the floor. I pointed that out by saying
"your are going the wrong way" the last lady turned, looked at me and said
"we work here. Can I help you? ". So does this mean if you work there you do not have to pay attention to the arrows? Not a very good example for the clients.

Supervisor is absolutely brutal. See's cashier is having trouble gets called up and she just walks away to talk instead of helping to move line ahead. Aug 30 /2020 7pm
20 mins in line to serve 1 person.
She definitely has a wall of participation trophies at home?
