I wouldn’t give it a star. Always a problem here. Medication not ready when text comes in. One pharmacist says one thing then another says something completely different. This place is unorganized and should be undergoing change in management and certain staff to improve its quality.

I have nothing but good things to say about this pharmacy. They all go above and beyond to help facilitate complex family situations, when it comes to medication and insurances. So grateful for this team behind the counter!

We wanted to click photos and it was late but Alex (assistant manager) was really awesome person. Clicked the picture perfectly and understood our needs. Great customer service received.

There are multiple times the pharmacy found prescription medicines are back order, and staff not willing to check other pharmacies. For auto fill prescriptions, no calls from the pharmacy to tell the prescription is on back order until you show up to pick up and end up in situation of no medicine. Phone lines are very busy, long wait.

Beware Canada post only open until 6 during the week and 4 on weekends. This isn’t posted anywhere other than the post office counter.even the parcel notification cards CP is handing out say the wrong hours.

Visited this location to pick the items. They were closed around midday for lunch. Very disappointed and its very inconvenient to wait. I don’t recommend anyone to visit this location.

There are some rude and disrespectful people working in the canada post in this shoppers drug mart. If someone knows and can share the manager contact, would be much appreciated.

This Shopper’s is always under stocked with empty shelves. I’m always disappointed when coming here because no matter what I’m looking for whether it’s cold medicine, eye drops or allergy medication, it’s always out of stock. Over the past few months the last 5 times I’ve come here, I’ve walked into empty shelves and had to go to the location on Hazeldean to buy my items. I live close to this location and genuinely want them to improve so I can actually shop here.

If you thought the Main Street Post office was horrible wait till you try the new one here at the Shoppers! Boy are you in for a treat!

They lost my prescription overnight lol. I went in around 8pm and the girl took the prescription paper and asked me to come back after an hour that night or next morning. I said I'll pick up the next day at 8am. I show up at 8 the next day and there was another lady who couldn't find my name nor my dob in their system. She started looking for the physical paper and couldn't find it either. Amazing! Idk how they do their work there. They told me to call my clinic to send them a copy to them? Seriously? Incompetent! One star coz, they are close to my place lol.

Pharmacy took my sons script. Said a change from liquid to capsules would be fine and it would be an hour wait. Turns out it wasn’t an ok switch. By this time contacting the doctor for a new script change wasn’t possible and other pharmacies were closed. Offering no other solutions or other pharmacies that could help, my son with known respiratory issues resulting in hospitalizations was left without antibiotics over night or possibly longer as a snow storm was approaching along with the weekend.
I am left disappointed as if they had not of mis led me earlier, I could have had it resolved faster without risking a hospitalization for oxygen desaturations.
As a mother of a special needs son with respiratory issues resulting in hospitalizations, I will not be returning. I will take our business elsewhere where they understand the urgency, show compassion and attempt to assist their clientele.

La pharmacienne est sympa et parle français, mais shoppers devrait investir dans du personnel: ce n'est pas normal que la pharmacienne n'ai pas de préparateur, vu la quantité d'ordonnance à traiter 1 dimanche soir! Donc voici l'histoire: 1 dimanche soir 19h: On me dit de revenir dans 1 heure, je reviens au bout de 1 h, on me dit que ce n’est pas prêt: "revenez dans 20 minutes", ça fait plus de 20 minutes et toujours rien!

Au bout de 2h30, le texto me dit que c’est prêt, mais je dois attendre encore en pharmacie! Il est maintenant 22h, soit 3h pour avoir des médicaments pour 1 personne qui est sortie de l'hôpital à 18h30.

I had trouble sourcing an antibiotic that my son needed. The pharmacist here was great in helping me find a solution, where other locations were not. I really appreciated this extra effort/support when I needed it most!

This is probably the worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. To detail the whole story would require retelling the misadventures of four trips, two phone calls, and one fax from the doctor and take up much space. Suffice it to say that the level of incompetence we experienced was profound. We will be pulling my mother's medications from this incredibly horrible pharmacy. I would have contacted them directly.but alas, that option is not available on their website. And, I have never complained about a store or service before; our experience was just so appallingly bad that it needed to be documented.

I'm new to the area and I don't have any issues when dealing with the pharmacy or getting my prescriptions in a timely manner. It's important that I don't suddenly stop my prescriptions suddenly, so the onus is on me to make sure that I get the Rx sent to the pharmacy way in advance and prior to needing them. So far, they've been very friendly. I believe in Karma, so be kind with them, and you'll get the same in return.

I, however, gave 4 stars as I find that the staff at the front lacks 'customer service'. Since the self check-outs have been installed, they don't seem thrilled about having customers go through the regular check out.feels like I'm 'bothering' them if I need lottery tickets or just prefer to have my purchases ran through by a 'human'.

This pharmacy is terrible. Every single time I have been there they never have my prescriptions ready. I’ve called in advance multiple times to ensure they were ready. I have called days, weeks in advance, and nothing. This last time around they ensured me they had a refill ready for my dog who needs a medication to manage his disease. I called again just to make sure I’m not driving out there for nothing (I had been there twice already and was told it wasn’t ready despite a pharmacist calling me to say it’s waiting for pick up) and they wanted to give me another medication. I politely explained that I had specified another medication all 4 times that I have called- now they say it was expired so they can’t fill it and that whoever told me the medication was ready probably got confused. This isn’t something to pass lightly and give no apologies for when a life threatening disease is at risk.

One of the worst pharmacies. Takes days to fill simple prescriptions then still don't have it ready at the promised time and make you wait in store anyways.

When they do finally get it filled it's often short then they try and get you to pay another dispensing fee when you come to pick up the rest of the medication.

"is 2 days from now ok? " usually when people get medication sooner is better.

Was put on hold for 25 minutes. After 25 minutes I hung up and called back and they answered right away. Not cool.

Basically they treat people like they have nothing better to do than wait on them.

For months now this pharmacy has been messing up my pills, and being extremely rude to me when I complain about their mistakes. The staff is never nice and is always quick to say it is my fault for not picking up my blister pack when the pharmacist looked me in the eye and said I am not even on the list for blister packs to be made, they were just making them randomly. I am not allowed to access my pills for more than a week at a time and now I am sitting on 4 blister packs and note saying I do not pick them up every week when in fact I do, and they just give me 2 because they are so unorganized they don't even know when to make someone's prescription. I have received blister packs that are months old and with old prescriptions. It is getting ridiculous that I cant get my weekly prescription that I have been getting for over 3 years now.

It's the last time I book a vaccine appointment at a Shoppers Drug Mart. I signed up on their web site for a covid booster dose and responded to all the required questions. I was allowed to go ahead with the appointment. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time. I had to complete forms at the counter which included providing my age and date of birth and sign for consent. Again I was moved along and asked to wait in the sitting area until my turn. There was one person in front of me. The pharmacist saw me as she was finishing with that person. Still she walked away and only came back 20 minutes later. She noticed that although I was turning the required age to qualify for a vaccine this year I wasn't that age yet.so the rules seemed to have changed from previous doses and that was news to me! After their web site let me sign up (apparently in error), the person I signed up with at the store counter letting me go through and the 20 minutes wait not including the time to get there, the parmacist refused to give me the vaccine dose. Very unhappy customer, Francine Gadoury.

Had a wonderful experience after becoming a little panicked and having to call late (around 9: 30 pm) about refilling my prescription and the assistant was very friendly, considerate and helpful. I also had questions about vitamins and she transferred me over to the pharmacist, who I got to very quickly. Great friendly service for 9 pm at night, and was a great relief for my stress. Thank you!

The pharmacy cannot be trusted. I had a horrible experience where they made too many mistakes preparing my medication and I can’t even trust that they gave me the right medication at the end. Had to wait for a whole hour before they figured things out just to pick up medications that they had told me was ready to pick up. I was picking up medication for a serious issue and the pharmacist did not even appear to discuss the medication with me. Now that I’m reading the comments below, I see I’m not the only one noticing how completely disorganized, unprofessional, and unreliable this pharmacy is.

Totally unreliable pharmacy. Prescription faxed on day 1. Called the next morning (day 2) to have it delivered. Promised delivery. End of day: nothing. Called next morning (day 3) : "we're just filling it (wth?), will be delivered today". End of day 3: nothing. Called back "sorry, it's sitting in a basket marked for delivery, but it wasn't. Too late now". This is not the first time either. Time to find a new pharmacy.

Very unorganized. Long wait for phone and was hung up on multiple times. Was told my prescriptions would be ready by 8pm. Showed up on my break to be told nothing has been started. Returned few hours later and talked with the pharmacist. He then started my scripts instantly and apologized for the wait and after being explained the new vaccine and commotion before holidays made me realize they are just under staffed to accommodate vaccines and continue the constant need for filling prescriptions. Be patient and understanding but in the end shoppers should have separate workers for vaccinations or stop doing them period.

The pharmacy is completely inept. They never have refill requests ready on time, and because of this, the line ups are terrible. Take everyone’s advice here and go elsewhere.

Went in today to ask the pharmacist about the best product for a cold sore. We were greet by a pharmacy assistant and informed the pharmacist was finishing up some paperwork and would be right over. We were then asked to move to the consultation window. We waited for 7 minutes then asked the assistant if the pharmacist knew we were waiting. We were assured she knew.
Two minutes later the assistant informed us that the pharmacist had to administer flu vaccine. By this point I was getting quite frustrated. We ended up leaving and going across the road to the Independent pharmacy where it took us less than 30 seconds to speak with the pharmacist and get what we needed.
I have to question how it is there is a pharmacy assistant who doesn’t know how to answer basic questions about over the counter products?
If you are in a hurry, this is not the place to go
