Shoppers Drug Mart

Today I was at this Shoppers Drug Mart and as usual they were out of stock for a item that is advertized in their weekly flyer. I approached the store franchise owner Jay and advised him of the issue. Owner Jay then had a temper tantrum and was very loud and vocal in front of other shoppers and his staff. I guess owner Jay being from down south Brampton way thinks he can treat his customers in a unprofessional manner (literally telling me to take my business else where). What Pharmacist Jay needs to know is Kapuskasing is a small town where neighbors treat each other with respect and kindness. I wonder what Galan Weston would say about how his business is being run.

Vast selection, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Great pharmacy team. One of the better shoppers I've been to in Ontario.

I have been trying for 5 months to have my prescription filled with the proper medication After trying for 3 months I was told it was on backorder the 4th month I was told it was on the next order. Still not available. 5 months I was told I could pick it up on Saturday I went in on the following Monday to pick up said prescription and was told again that it was not available. It is a commonly prescribed drug.to say that this is ridiculous would be an understatement. I have been a Patron of shoppers drug mart throughout the province for 20 plus years but but we'll no longer be using their pharmacy

I wouldn’t recommend working here or even shopping here! Manager yells at staff in front of customers! Owner is oblivious and doesn’t do anything! This place is just awful and has HIGH turnover!

One of ONLY two pharmacies that dispense methadone, or one of its derivatives; in a huge area of small town Ontario. It is a 3 hr & 43 minute drive from me, and if the highway wasn't closed in the other direction my only other choice is over an hour away. Are there closer pharmacies? Definitely. Do they dispense methadone, or any equivalent derivative? No, they do not.
