Incompetent pharmacy staff, they ignored billing my insurance and try to gaslight me about it. Every time I pick up my prescription there is a problem like missing meds or incorrect instructions. If your medication needs to be refrigerated make sure you see them pull it out of the fridge or they will just pretend that they didn't ruin anything or risk your life to cover up their mistake.

The owner only hires foreign international students from India so they can get away with paying below minimum wage with no benefits or insurance while at the same time being the most overpriced retailer so much for being a Canadian store.

The two older lady cashiers are miserable people that always lie to not have to do their work they are either incompetent and need to be retrained or lazy and need to be fired. When I come in for food items the employees always follow me around and pretend to fix the shelves instead of doing their jobs (YOU ARE NOT LP), what a joke.

My prescription was sent to both my pickup pharmacies and some employee at this Shoppers told me to call the other pharmacy myself and cancel my order there, if not I'd have to pay for this prescription at the other pharmacy. This female employee convinced me that the coverage would work at shoppers and not the other pharmacy, so I did as I was told.

On reaching shoppers for pickup, I was slapped in the face with a huge payment even after an employee told me that my coverage would go through. I asked for them to apply the coverage and several times it didn't go through. Such an awful experience!
Whoever did that to me, that wasn't fair at all.

Thankfully my other pharmacy handled the whole situation and I was able to get my medication covered.

Poor customer service, I bought a deodorant from shoppers and wanted to return because it was broken, they were telling me it is not their problem it’s dove! And I should contact them! When I buy a product from a store that is more expensive than the supplier, this is their responsibility! I trusted their store in first place! Congratulations shoppers you lost 3 regular customers!

Do not buy electronics here, bought a Nintendo switch and want to return it because the games were expensive. Talk to the cashier, then supervisor person and they made up lies about how the receipt says no returns on electronics. When pointed out they said its on the website, the website said you could return it after 30 days if unopened. After keeping on talking to them, they said go to Nintendo themselves, but Nintendo only takes refunds when you buy directly from them. Lost over 500 bucks because no one said that they had no refunds on electronics.

Do not get your passport photos here or any Shoppers Drug Mart! They are very low and cheap quality and overpriced! Also the staff do not care how your face or head is titled they are cashiers who take your pictures and have no idea what they're doing. Go to Sooter's Photography just cross the road 1430 Prince of Wales for a lower price for beautiful photos. Sooter's will make you look so good for your passport.

Went in to the Meadowlands Shoppers to pick up some groceries, took items to cash and asked for bags, (I had previously bought cloth bags for $0.35 and was happy to do so again), I was told that bags are no longer available. Is this true? Not even re-usable bags for sale? I ended up asking for a cardboard box, which thankfully they got for me from the back. Perhaps you could leave a stack of smaller cardboard boxes at the front.
But I find it incomprehensible that you don't have re-usable bags for sale. I'm sure I'm not the only customer who sometimes forgets to bring their own bags.

Pharmacy communication, professionalism, and efficiency is very poor. Every time I have a prescription there’s always an issue. Save yourself time and energy and go elsewhere.

Went to this shoppers today with my friend. He is a person of colour, and apart of the LGBTQ community. He is a regular customer and does his groceries here every week, has never had a problem with any employee in the past. We go there today and this lady is eyeing him and watching his every move. He’s scanning his items and asks me to put back two items he doesn’t wanna buy… i do so and come back to find the lady watching his every move still. After he pays, the lady questions why there are items removed from the checkout list, he says it’s because he had removed those items, and then she asks to see his receipt, which he gives her. She is being aggressive so he asks what he did wrong and if she does that with everyone. She says “we’ve had problems with you before”. He asks her what problems they’ve had so he can try anf fix it… she says “you know what you did” he keeps pressing asking what he did because he genuinely doesn’t remember doing anything wrong… she keeps saying “you know what you did” and proceeds to tell us it’s story policy and she can’t tell him what he did. She didn’t even look at the receipt she took from us, or what was inside his bag. This was an obvious case of discrimination, and i am appalled with this shoppers worker. Going in to speak to the manager tomorrow. Very disappointed. I’ve know this friend since we were kids, and he is the most honest, and kind person I know. Do better shoppers.

Absolutely hated my time with this pharmacy. Other than the one really nice and sweet middle-aged man at the pharmacy, everybody at the pharmacy is SO rude and ignorant. Anytime I’d call to ask about my prescriptions, I’d be bombarded with technical jargon, put on hold for what felt like hours and be told that they haven’t received any prescriptions for me and that “they don’t know what I’m talking about”. When pointed out that they’re being rude, their response “I’m not being rude. That wasn’t rude at all. ” And for what might I add, I had the “audacity” to ask the girl twice if she can check for prescriptions from my doctor’s name. And when you do happen to be able to pick up your medication, they charge you the full amount and later you find out that it is only 1/4th of your prescription and you’d have to contact them and arrange another pickup. No issues picking up the remainder, but the least they could do is inform the person that they’d have to come back again? I only found out when I got home and opened the stapled bag and found the little numbers on my medicine bottle. When I called them to ask what was going on, the same girl goes “yeah so if you see your bottle carefully, everything is written on it. You can call back in a few days to check if we have your medication or not. ” She was loud, rude and quick to cut me off and hang up, when all I said was “I understand but you guys could’ve at least told me when I picked it up instead of me finding out later. ” I could NEVER go back here AT ALL. Had to get all my prescriptions from another pharmacy farther from home only to avoid this headache each time. Pathetic.

Went here to get my booster & they told me I could not receive my vax because I am from out of province. Went to the shoppers on bank where they informed I could upload my documents Vaxon after. Their priority was not to get needles in the arm but send me away & argue with my friend.

Most disorganized pharmacy- very disappointing. Some pharmacists are lovely but it is frustrating to get a simple medication filled out.

Honestly, I’ve never had a bad experience here? I get all my prescriptions done at the pharmacy, got my student ID pic taken here, and usually grab light groceries and snacks here like once a week. The only problems I’ve ever had were with other customers. When I got my student ID picture taken, the lady who helped me was all smiles and very sweet! As for the pharmacy, I forgot to renew my prescription once - so I called and was able to get an emergency prescription right away. All the pharmacists have been pretty kind to me. The post office has also been alright, though I do tend to go there less. Still, this Shoppers has all in all treated me pretty well!

Went in to buy some eggs. Was entertained by a thief stealing several boxes of fireworks, he just couldn't carry anymore lol. Lovely area!

Never had a problem with this pharmacy. They've always been helpful. Request my prescriptions online and usually get a response the next day or day after.

Flu shot - check. Shopper's Drug Mart 888 Meadowlands. I filled in and printed out the online form at home to get a code (but could have used my phone instead of printing,) waited about 15 minutes total inside and outside from 8: 15 to 8: 30 to get the paperwork done. They texted me at 9: 20 to return to the store. Shot at 9: 35 and home by 9: 55. Lots of patient and friendly staff to explain what to do and excellent Covid-19 precautions. (I am a vulnerable senior.) If there were any start up challenges to the flu shot process they have been sorted out.

Horrible experience getting the flu shot today. In line for 2 hours, in the cold. Absolutely no organization. Would not let us inside to wait in the warmth. Then once inside, no information on where we needed to go. And we had to wait another 15 minutes

The store its clean, Doritos don't go on sale as often as they should. It's a shoppers drug store, what do you want from it? The pharmacists are knowledgeable and helpful, the pharmacy clerks are prompt, they do almost everything I'd want/expect from a shoppers drug mart. Just put the Doritos on sale more often, yes I'm that petty that I'd subtract a star for that. If Doritos go on sale for 10 days out of a 30 day span, I will edit this review and add a 5th star.

Most of the staff are wonderful, and the pharmacy staff are top of the line. However, the cashiers need to actually wear their mask and keep their distance especially from the seniors who are reliant on this pharmacy for their medications. If a staff member can't wear a mask due to a medical condition please at least provide with a face shield and move to a location of the store where they can physically distance. It would be great if they actually stood behind the plexiglass as well instead of avoiding it.

This is a top line Shoppers Drug Mart.the Cosmetics staff are experienced and Very well trained to help and suggest options and will help non cosmetics customers to check out all other store items. I have shopped here for many years and Really appreciate the Cosmetic’s Staff help and the Pharmacy section is Very good. I moved here from out of province and am grateful fir this store.

Worst pharmacy service ever.
Had my prescription faxed in a few days ago and was told it should be ready to pick up next day evening. Returned to store three days later in the afternoon to pick up the prescription and was still told that it was not ready and will be ready in an hour.
No customer service, understaffed, rude, and unprofessional. I said that this was the second time that I am experiencing the similar situation and was told that I can be sent to compounding pharmacy. Staff does not take responsibility in their colleague's action by saying "I was not there. " Lost my time because I had to return several times when they said the prescription should be ready by when but it is always not ready. Will not absolutely return to this pharmacy after this prescription. Stay away from this pharmacy. Not worth of a wait

Went to order and pick up a prescription around 10 in the evening.told it would take 10 to 20 minutes.i said fine.waited a bit then said i would pick it up in the morning since i had to return to the store for milk (thursday discount). Went to pick it up in the morning and was told i would have to wait 20 minutes.i said it should already be filled.and asked to speak to the owner.she said " i was trying to get in front of other peoples orders da? Closed my whole family account and went to Walmart (great service).

I bought a hair dye on sale for $6.99 and returned two days later with my receipt to exchange the colour. I was refunded my $6.99, but then told by the Cashier Supervisor that I had to pay full price for the new colour as the sale was no longer on.if I didn't like it I would have to come back to speak to a manager 'during the day'. Don't bother trying to make a return or exchange at Shoppers.completely ridiculous and absolutely unacceptable

Store is a bit disorganized, shampoo aisle was a bit unstocked. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. I like the grocery selection, very convenient.

Poor experiences at the pharmacy about 3 times now. Rude customer service staff and cashiers. Always going to wait in line at cash because they are consistently understaffed and not properly trained. Watched a cashier call "backup to cash" 8 times before someone showed up one night, lineup almost reached the back of the store. Bonus for this is they are so improperly trained that they often mess up and tag things $3 off on items that are on sale for $2.99 so I've ended up with free things about 7 times in the past year. Other than that they need to hire more staff, consider new management and properly train their cashiers and employees.

My favourite experience here had to be one day the cashier didn't offer me a bag for my milk, bread, orange juice, canned tuna, and chips and then proceeded to ring me thorough without offering me a bag leaving me to carry all these things in my arms. When I asked him for a bag he said "they are 5 cents and i've already rung you through" to which I said "okay but you didn't offer me one, I just assumed you didn't expect me to carry all these items in my arms, can I just get a bag" to which he said "no they're 5 cents each" and when I said "yes I know, could I just purchase 2 bags then" he said "no" again and started ringing in the next person. They got mad at him and told him to give me a bag and he finally rolled his eyes and gave me one. Classic this store ^

The indian man at the post office is awesome and will go out of his way to help you. When he see's me he always smiles. I have gotten produce like triffle or cheesecake on a number of occasions but stopped as they were moldy when I got the home and opened it. I didn't want to jump back in the car to drive all the way back and get a refund because I am extremely unwell. Same with baked goods.

The cash is long line's normally and after a while after the line gets longer than a back-up cashier is called. I have had rude cashier's, to find out he is a manager which surprised me because he was rude to the person ahead of me and for me, he didnt even acknowledge me or greet me. I had to put my item's down because they were heavy and I asked the customer ahead if this was ok. She said yes absolutely. A clear break was made between her item's and mine. The cashier (He) went to pick up my item's and we both said no no when he reached for mine. He rolled his eye's.the biggest eye roll ever and gave a massive sigh in front of us, like we had just majorly inconvenienced him and put him out. He never thanked her and he jammed my things in the bag grumbling, took my money and went on to the next person like I never existed. No thank you.goodnight.nothing! He didn't even greet the next person. Just like my greeting a massive I roll. No hi! How are you.extremely off putting. To this day, I don't go to him.

The pharmacy online has made mistake after mistake. I get a huge amount of perscriptions monthly. Close to $500 a month just on med's. That's not including my liquid food or gravol or gut medication or massive vitamins that cost another few hundred dollars a month. You would think that thing's would be right by now. I now purposely come in later to get my perscriptions because when they're suppose to be ready, they never were. It is getting better somewhat. However, mistakes are still being made. Perscriptions being filled without me asking online. Perscriptions I'm not even taking anymore.
I didn't know as well that when my doctor would sent in perscriptions to top up my current one's, that my current one's then are wiped out like they never existed. My doctor was angry because it ended up leaving me with no perscriptions when we both thought I had way more to take care of me until she got back from holiday because of this I ended up being hospitalized twice.

Lastly, I often have to come back for medications, so like I said now I wait a few days and I will be assured they will be filled. On occasion, it has surprised me when I was told they we're just finishing it up. So they had 3 extra day's and still I waited.

I have had assistants only on a few occasion be rude. I have actually called them on being rude. To change their tone. They appologise and we move on. I have a pharmacist that I et my perscriptions from, I believe John? Dark sal pepper hair and he is so very nice and kind and will do everything to help.

Terrible cashier service. Rare a second till is open. Lines get long. Staff are slow.
At this point only use pharmacy as it's convenient but certainly not a good one. Favorite line at pharmacy is "Can't fill entire order. Come back tomorrow"

I have always had trouble receiving my mail through the Post Office in this store. Yesterday, August 14,2018, I missed a delivery and called to ask that it be rescheduled and the answer was that the delivery had to be returned to the sender, which was Lowes. During my conversation today, Efrem in the Post Office told me that he could not hear me on the phone - a questionable response. -Or please make sure that your phone is in working order. Today's manager at this Shoppers parroted that the item (a box 20" square) must be returned to sender unless I pick it up. Passing the buck via "the rules" is not acceptable. I am handicapped and have a heart condition. I had to involve the expense of a cab today to get my parcel or it would be sent back to Lowes. I've complained to Canada Post, the Minister of Public Services & Procurement and the Ombudsman for Ontario about this ongoing problem and I will do so again. The method of operation in this Post Office borders on unconscionable and it is not acceptable. It needs to change as soon as possible. When I was a member of the work force in the court system I made sure that I used my best efforts with everyone I came in contact with and these people prefer not to be helpful, but to use "the rules" of the Canada Post to protect them from being humane and helpful.

TLDR; generally I use this location out of convenience or need and not out of preference.

I do not use the pharmacy at this location but frequently have Amazon packages delivered here and to send mail since it is conveniently located.

The post office is spotty at times and sometimes there is no employee to be found, generally the service is quick and the staff are knowledgeable about postage etc. The little bit of shopping I have done here has been fine and the cash has been quick every time and employees I have interacted with so far have been polite.

The store would benefit from having someone monitor the post office so that customers dont have to find an employee to page someone to the desk. I cannot comment on the pharmacy counter service.
