Shoppers Drug Mart

So today I can say I have had the WORST experience in costumer service since I have been in canada.
I’m a white female 27yo and today at 11am I stopped at this shoppers with my baby to return 1 box of size 2 Huggies.
This Indian guy approaches me and asks me if I need help, I explained that I had my baby shower and I’m left with a couple of diapers that I need to exchange for a different size (note that these boxes were purchased at shoppers and are unopened) of same value.
He tells me without a receipt it can’t be done. I then explain that other shoppers are doing this and then explained me that it’s up to the individual (in case this guy) to accept to swap the box.
He gets frustrated with me, asking me which location did this and that they can be in trouble, I tell him the location and also tell him that I know he can verify if this box was purchased at shoppers or not.
At the end he tells me to just go back to that location then.
He was very rude and I need to say that if the roles were reversed I would have been called racist.
I’m never EVER going back to this location cause even if he was right he didn’t have to shame me for asking to swap a diaper box unopened of the same value and tell me to leave.
Very unprofessional and disgusting.

I then left and went to my shopper location and exchanged the diapers without problems. And the lady that was at costumer service gave me the idea of leaving this review.

Nice people work here, I like how they keep the place neat and clear, price are really good than other place I visit, so I recommend to others too. Keep going good job

This store is best amongst all Shoppers Drug Mart stores in city and nearby. Staff is super friendly and so helpful. Store manager is also humble n manages store so well. I always go to this store every week and always find products for which I tend to visit store because this store has all variants that are unavailable in other locations.

Sadly, some inventory levels at this store are insufficient, staff are not helpful, service is poor at best, and prices are inflated on most products (unless on special, which leads to minimal inventory). The store houses one of the only Canada Post outlets in town which is inconveniently located at the rear of the store and often has a long wait in line. Better options at SDM in Dundas.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Recommend everyone in that area to visit store. Also store manager humble and know his job very well how to run the store.

The best shoppers drug mart i ever visited, the staff was very humble and friendly, the Manager (MANSI) provided me the best service, she helped me so nicely and she was so humble throughout my shopping. Huge shoutout to her!

The greatest Shoppers Drug Mart location in the area is this one. The staff is extremely accommodating and pleasant. The store manager runs the business so skillfully and is also humble. Each Friday, I visit this store where I always find the things I usually look for because it carries all the variations that are not accessible elsewhere.

If you want to visit the unfriendliest, least helpful pharmacy in town, here's the place!

Just used this pharmacy’s post office. The lady who was helping me not even wearing a name tag! Was extremely rude, unhelpful and unprofessional please train your staff in customer service!

I get great service at the prescription counter when Karen is there. Otherwise the pharmacy staff seem lost as far as service is concerned. And, the summer student in 2022 was arrogant and very critical.
