Worst customer service experience via phone that I've ever experienced in dealing with Shoppers Drugmart. I made four (4) consecutive calls today, followed the steps to get customer service and the calls would ring and end abruptly. On the fith call, a female answers and immediately hangs up before I attempted to respond.wow

Went for my son's prescriptions and was advised to wait 40 min.came back after 1hr and 30 min still its not ready. Told me to come back another 1 hrs. No proper management or any sense of responsibility. This is the second time it's happening, and taught I should share this now

Do not get a passport photo here, as I had one kid and my photo rejected on separate occasions. Do yourself a favour and go to UPS store on King George.

I have been to at least 20 other Shoppers across Canada, this is by far the worst, collection of rude staff members, no empathy, never smiles, wait time is abnormally long (no matter what time you go there), they have lost doctor’s prescriptions so many times. The pharmacist lady is very nice and considerate, it is the other employees, always irritated. Despite my doctor’s telling them how urgent some medications are for small children, they made me wait 90 minutes or come tomorrow. I keep venting every time I visit this store. Franchisor need to take a look at all 1 star reviews! Wake up!

Can’t answer a phone to save their lives. Also keep out of stock items in clear display and then after 10 min of wasting your time say oh, don’t have it. Awful customer service. So many things could be improved it’s incredible.

Post office experience was a joke, lady with a braid is extremely unprofessional, rolled her eyes, and is absolutely miserable, find a new job lady

WAY WAY WAY too expensive. I wear Ralph Lauren Romance perfume. Shoppers charges $150 for 100ml bottle. PerfumeOnline sells the EXACT same bottle for under $95. Pathetic! You are gouging to the max.

I have not had a pleasant experience dealing with the pharmacy staff. It seems like they all hate each other and they barely tolerate the customers. I switched my prescriptions to another pharmacy to avoid dealing with the rudeness at this pharmacy.

I would say the post office is terrible as well, no choice as the post office holds the packages. The staff moves at a glacial pace and they do not seem to know what they are doing no matter the task. It's amazing the incompetence is so universal.

Worst customer service I have ever received from a pharmacy. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Every time I try to refill my prescriptions, there is always a problem so I end up having to call and wait 20+ minutes before I can actually speak with someone. My doctors office has contacted them several times to resolve the issues and I am still having problems. They continue to incorrectly enter the date I am eligible to refill my medication - supposed to be every 30 days but they always enter it as 32- 34 days. I have also been told twice that I will just have to go a few days without my medication (due to their error) and that there is nothing they can do. All while being rude and condescending and telling me it's my fault that I used the automated refill services over the phone and that everytime I need to refill my prescriptions I need to call and actually speak with someone (and waste 20+ mins of my time). I've been with other shoppers drug marts before and have never experienced this. I will be switching my family's prescriptions to another pharmacy.

Sells forged gift cards then won't refund them, instead forces you to contact head office, which takes more than 10 days to get a result, and the result is optimum points or a gift card for the value, which then takes another 10-15 days to get to you.

A simple refund and internal investigation would likely have saved a couple hours in labour costs and negative reviews and publicity. Will not be shopping here again.

I ended up switching pharmacies because my doctor would fill a prescription for my anti depressants, fax it over. I’d go to pick up my refill and they have told me I had no more refills. This has happened several times so I ended up going to the pharmacy in burford and have never had an issue with them. Yes a little more expensive but their service is above and beyond. Shoppers made me feel like an addict for my anti depressants and didn’t care if I went days without them. Do not recommend their services.

After spending a night in the hospital with a very sick baby I went to this shoppers to fill a prescription for a specialized formula he requires (advised by a pediatrician.) Upon my arrival the staff told me this formula was not a prescription. The pharmacist assistant argued that the pediatrician was wrong and this was available on the shelf. I ask where it was on the shelf and they said they did not stock any on the shelf. I asked to have them fill it and see if my benefit plan covered it. They told me to go home and call my benefit company first. I explained to them I need to feed my baby and I needed it filled as he has no formula he can drink at home. The staff continued to be very hesitant about filling it and asked if I just wanted one can filled where I once again had to remind them I had to feed my baby and one can was not enough and that the cost did not matter. After an incredibly frustrating experience I took my prescription and went to another pharmacy. They happily filled it for a one month supply, told me the cost and rushed the order. They also explained what ways I could take to have this covered if my benefits didn't cover it.

The staff at this Shopper's had a total lack of empathy for a Mother with a sick child who is struggling to feed him. Totally shameful.
