I was at the pharmacy Saturday night to pick up an item in the pharmacy. I was in line to speak to the pharmacists lady with long hair and glasses. Firstly I had to ask 3 times to get their attention. When she did acknowledge me, she said a few seconds. That turned into 5 mts. Meanwhile I was waiting 20 mts prior to that. When I finally asked her about product she didn’t even direct me to where it was and quickly dismissed me. She was rude and she is dealing with the public? Prior to that I saw that she was walking with a customer to direct him to where the product was. I find this totally unacceptable. Don’t bother waiting for answers go elsewhere.

I called the pharmacist on a Friday. I explained the following situation to her. I said the Gov't has approved to cover an item that you sell. I need multiple of this item on a monthly basis. The Gov't of Ontario sees you as an approved vendor & is asking for a quote/ estimate of the cost of this item (s) for a one month supply. The pharmacist instructed me to speak to the store associate on Monday. I was disappointed as I thought asking for a quote/ estimate would take one phone call and possibly an email. I said okay I will contacted the store associate on Monday. Monday comes. I now go to the store with my official completed and endorsed application from Ontario Gov't. I ask for the store associate and was GIVEN the Manager Jamie Genat I explained my entire situation from the phone call I made on Friday to the reason why I was there that day. I showed him my two official documents from the Government as proof and asked if I could get a quote/ estimate from him / Shoppers Drugmart as they were approved by the government as an official vendor. He looked at me and said "I've never done this before". I said okay. It just a quote. Your store sells things all the time. Locate the item, set your price and charge me an amount that it would cost if I was to purchase it (multiple) for a one months supply, but put it in writing so I can submit it to the Ministry for approval. If approved, your store will benefit hundreds of dollars from a reoccurring monthly purchase paid by the government. The manager than made a phone call while I waited patiently. A while later another person shows up. She said hi, how can I help you. Being all confused I said, while looking at the Manager, "Who are you? " She said the Assistant Manager Faiqa. I was confused. Why am I dealing with the manager and he turns around and calls the assistant manager. Okay. I proceed to tell her the entire story AGAIN. She responds, "I've never done this before. " We get into a long conversation about how I understand they may not of done this before but this has been done and they stand to gain. I suggested that they obtain the answers and approval from whomever and let me know if they would like to go forward with this. The Manager and assistant manager accused me of being rude and proceed to have me wait a ridiculous amount of time. When they returned, they proceeded to fulfil my request but making a quote on a folded piece of paper, with their chicken scratch writing and said here is your quote. I was in disbelief. I said this is how you want to represent your store. This is what you want me to give to the Government. Do you want me to look like a fool when I submit this to them. Their response was, oh no we can put our official stamp on it. I asked for the owner of this Shoppers Drugmart business card and left the store. I went outside the store and SCREAMED. I went back in visibly upset. Found Hardeep, Assistant Pharmacist. She is a lovely woman. Always warm and pleasant, helpful, compassionate, patient, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. She said hi to me, in that warm loving way that she always does. She asked me how my 90 year old mother was doing? She asked me about my sick sister and then said how do I help you? I explained and showed her what I came here for. How I called Friday.how I was treated here today for the last hour. Hardeep, true to form.made me feel heard, apologized, armed me with knowledge, gave me solutions. All in a matter of 10 minutes and she begged me to not write this review. I'm sorry, sadly this is not the only negative experience I had with this location. Hardeep and some of the workers are amazing and my 90 year old Mom lives around the corner.but sometimes you need to vent and expose the injustice in hopes to affect positive change for all.do better Shoppers Drugmart. Do better Manager. Jamie Genat and Assistance Manager. Faiqa I hope they get the training they obviously need. Or maybe it's time to go to another Drugstore.

I tried to call so many times the pharmacy to refill my prescriptions but the phone is just ringing and no one answer the phone at all and when I go there and let them know that nobody never answer the phone the lady tells me: I know!
When I ask for a refill she asks me if I want to come back and I tell her know that is why i was trying to call and to know what time I could come get my meds! I told her I can’t come back and forth because I come from work and I just want to get my meds and leave!
She told me I have to wait 30min to 1 hour! Ridiculous!
Even my dr.tried to call them and no one ever answer that damn phone! I thought the old owner was bad but that one is worse!
I think it’s time to change pharmacy!

Came here to fill my Son's prescription and it took 2 hours! Then they told me the LU code was missing and I had to wait an extra 30min. All while my Son was in the car with his Grandma and brother.

I explained that my Son is vomiting with diarrhea and they didn't seem to care at all! Next time I will drive to other Pharmacy as the Asian lady told me to do when she said wait time is 1hour.

They lack empathy and friendly service.

I went their to buy perfume. As it was all locked, i called an asian lady with blonde hair, i asked her a feminine fragrance instead she gave me a men and i spent $200 on it. Please respect customers and their money. Now i cannot return it. She looked like so frustrated on her shift. Not a good thing!

Went to this location, i had an electronic prescription. I was turned down asking me to get a paper prescription from my doctor…. They even refused to print it…. Made me run around to get medicines for my 10 month old.

Sophie at the beauty counter, you are a gem! Judging from these reviews, this location seems to be lacking but let me tell you she is always cheerfully helpful. Thank you for the fantastic customer service.

This location makes no sense. They won't return things even when within all the parameters of the policy.
Making up no policy to fit the location needs and etc.

If you go to this pharmacy you will wait way too long
Even if you have just question wait an hour
And if you phone call wait an hour

I called All I wanted was pharmacy fax number so my Dr can fax my prescription
But after 20 minutes no answer
And the fax number not available online
