The mandatory use of self checkouts at this particular Shoppers is ridiculous! All other Shoppers you get on option but not this one! Even though I have a cottage in the area I won’t be back.

Pharmacy is a joke. I couldn’t get my sons medication filled for a week. When I got fed up and asked for them to transfer it to Bracebridge. They agreed and didn’t do it. Beyond frustrated with them.

Currently been on hold for 15 minutes waiting for the pharmacy, finally someone answers, I start to explain what I need. She stops me saying are you looking for the pharmacy? I’ll have to put you on hold until someone from the pharmacy is available. When using the prompts on the phone I clicked the option to speak to the pharmacy team about my meds. So why was I directed to customer service? Now I’m going to be waiting another 15 minutes. Unacceptable. Update: going on 30 minutes now.: Now 45.

Well stocked store and the pharmacy is staffed with helpful individuals.

Went to this location last night. When walking in I could see the "cashier" chit chatting with a customer. I continued to do my shopping and came up to the til and stood and waited patiently. The customer she was speaking to kept giving us eye contact but the "cashier" would not turn around and acknowledge us. All cashier check outs were closed and only self check outs were open. I was wanting to ask if there was any more of a certain product they had in the back as the shelf was empty. I waited multiple minutes and finally I set my items down and left.
This is super unprofessional. It is also unfortunate that our world is going this way. I don't want to check myself out that is why there should be cashiers. If you are paying them to stand there and watch us check ourselves out, shouldn't they also be checking people out?
Seems as though I am not the only one aggravated by this when you look at all your other reviews.
Please do not comment telling me to call 1-800-SHOPPERs as I am currently on hold with them for 12 minutes and counting.

The staff member in the post office that I spoke to was pleasant. Although, prior to coming to SDMart, I needed to know if there were any additional fees associated with the parcel I was expecting to pickup. No one answered my calls in the postal office nor, customer service, even though I let the phone ring in excess of 10x’s. I eventually called the pharmacy. The Pharmacist finally picked up my call, put me on hold for what seemed an eternity. I was finally able to speak with someone from the post office. What a frustrating experience. Something is definitely amiss. In future, I would prefer Not to give my business to this SDMart. I would much rather do business with Canada Post in Grvhst. At least, when I call Canada Post my call is picked up promptly. If, I could give this SDMart a Zero Rating, I definitely would. My time is valuable too!
