Just had an incident with the Assistant manager Matthew at this location. I was checking out and head him say to the cashier over the microphone to keep at eye on me because he thought I was stealing. I have a physical disability that is noticable and I assume because I was limping he thought that.want I was a theif. I paid for all.of.my.items and then went to the back and asked the pharmacist to call him so I could ask why he then would only give me his first name and wouldn't provide his employee number or last name for me to call head.odfixe and file a complaint. So I took my phone out to take his picture which then in turn made him respond mymcsllimg the police and lie and say j was attacking and threatening him. I have the entire interaction recorded. I would mever threaten an employee and was just curious as to why out of all the people in the store he chose me tomaxcuse.of stealing. This child should not be en employee in customer service let alone a managerial role. He literally makes accusations based off of personal opinion then when confronted LITERALLY hides behind a desk lying to the police trying to have people arrested for crimes they do not commit. Makes me sick to my stomach that people like Matthew even have managerial roles. Guys a loser.

Been using this store since it was at the five points mall. The only complaints I've had have been with the postal service there the woman there is horrible. The last two days I've spent over 45 minutes on hold trying to reach a pharmacist. Not sure what's happening with the store but they need to make some changes.

I came here after work for a covid vax. I even booked an appointment. The pharmacy is extremely understaffed. You wait in line for ten minutes to be directed to another line that is managed by the same person. I spent 40 minutes there in total.

Additionally, pharmacy staff talked and complained loudly about other colleagues, workload etc.

The professionalism is lacking.

I wish I could give zero stars. This is the ABSOLUTE worst pharmacy I've ever experienced. You can't call without a 20-40 minute wait and 80% of the time they hang up on you. Twice they've been unable to fill my prescriptions because "not many people take this medication so we don't carry it". But this past week was pure Hell. My doctor sent them a a script last Thursday. I called to arrange pick up they said they had nothing. I am an insomniac who was ordered to stop taking my other meds due to newly discovered heart condition. Doctor was gone for the weekend so no sleep until Monday. Doctor confirmed

I wish I could give zero stars for this place. Absolute worst pharmacy I've ever been to which seems to be the common theme here. Staff are rude, unprofessional and borderline incompetent. Customer service is abysmal and beyond slow. I transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy. It's also pointless to complain to them because nothing has changed.

If you want to not waste an hour of your life getting medication, go to literally any other pharmacy. It doesn't matter if I'm the only person in line, I stand around at the counter for usually 15 minutes until someone actually offers help. If I call ahead, I still get a 30 to 45 minute wait when it's just me there. Every week, without fail, I spend an hour in the pharmacy. I've also had a pharmacist drop all my pills on the floor and expect me to take them still.

Today I wasted 45 minutes just setting up insurance, which when I tried to set up over the phone because I knew it would take an hour, they hung up on me because they didn't want to do it and claimed it would be instant in person. Now I get to be late for my Doctor's appointment, and I left with no medication. I also know now that when I have to go back after my appointment, I get to repeat the process all over again and will be waiting again for a minimum of 3o minutes.

Thank you shoppers, I'll be taking my business anywhere else.

BTW: the pharmacist ACTUALLY suggested that I don't even add my new provider and continue using OHIP. Insane e.

Pharmacist Mohammed was able to prescribe medication for an issue that I usually had to treat with expensive over the counter medications. He impressed me with his professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond for us.

I called about to get my daughter's prescription filled yesterday evening. First there was a long wait over the phone before anyone picked up. The pharmacist that answered the phone denied receiving a faxed prescription which was faxed to them in the afternoon. This was a lie, as when I went this morning after obtaining another copy, the prescription was in their system. As a result of the lies my daughter missed her dosage.
I will stay away from this location from now on.

I have been shopping at this location for many many years, and I noticed that the cosmetic section has such an enormous turnaround, but when we shop for products and spend over $300 and get a little tiny tube as a sample from the actual manager that’s just ridiculous. The only two ladies that work there Marsia and Farah it’s a shame they’re no longer there. They were amazing they were knowledgeable, polite, caring, and now they’ve moved to Salem and Taunton Road. And it’s unfortunate that I have to travel that far to get my products. Hopefully the store will hire people that know how to treat customers and not be so rude and judge mental.

So i got 3 kinds of sinus tablets packages and wanted to take 2 of them. 2 of them was not labelled properly on the shelf with the prices. I took all 3 packets to the counter and asked if prices can be checked before i could decide. The big lad with hair braids told me to go check on the price checker. Are you kidding me? Why should I run around checking for prices like a headless chicken when its your job to ensures prices are displayed properly on the shelf. I refused to go check myself and said to check it right there and the cashier started lecturing me it will take a lot of his efforts to scan and void if I decided otherwise. Which was unbelievable and didn’t expect. Why are you even a cashier then? I am right there standing, you have the scanner why should I go back to price checker. Fix it Shoppers! Be better at helping customers

Some people just don't belong to in a customer service area. This shopers drug mart employee (she wears glasses) and covered her name so that I can't get her name told to me leave the place or else she would call a police just because I asked the validity of the return policy she provided me. Never had this kind of experience in my life. She was very rude and unprofessional. I can't believe shopers have this kind of employee. It is normally my favorite place to get few things but she definitely changed my mind.

Gave my wife a hard time about an unopened item when she tried to return it with a receipt.then did it to me 3 weeks later. They all looked at us like we were from the walling dead and wanted nothing to do with us and looked at us like we were the ones in the wrong. Very disappointed.

This is the worst pharmacy that I have ever dealt with. Their communication is extremely poor. They have charged my insurance for prescriptions that have been faxed to them but they were unable to fill due to being on back order. Charging someone for an item that was not provided is called fraud. They have given both my wife and I prescriptions for other people. They claim that they have not received prescriptions while my physicians office can provide delivery receipts for these same prescriptions. Make what you will of this, but if you depend on your prescription medication for quality of life or to stave off a potentially life-threatening illness, you may want to look elsewhere. Make sure to check every item that they give you, every time, People this incompetent should not be allowed to dispense prescription medication.

If it had happened once I would have forgiven them, however it has happened twice now, where they charge me outrageously high price for medicine that should be costing me no money. Then I fight them and then they realize that they made a mistake. Innocent people who do not know the mathematics of how much the medicines need to cost can easily be paying them more without knowing.

Asked the pharmacist about a vaccine inquiry (mind you im not vaccinated) and I asked if I could get 2 doses in 1 day and she said it was ridiculous that I even asked that question and I shop here from time to time and spend lots of money but not anymore, no wonder u have 2 star rating which is horrible

I took a veterinarian prescription for my dog to the pharmacy in this store. After a very long wait I was told they had to order it and that it would probably be in the next day. No offer to call me when it was in. I returned every single day for 4 days to no avail. On the fifth day it was finally there. The dosage was 1/2 pill per day and I asked if they would cut the pills. I was told yes. Waited quite a while and was finally told at the counter they were just about ready. When I asked if the pills were cut I was told "oh, yes, they're cutting them now. "

Of course, when I arrived home I discovered the pills had NOT been cut and I don't have a pill cutter.

I moved from Pickering to Oshawa in August. I am still dealing with my Pickering pharmacist, whom I trust, even though it's a long drive.

I would absolutely NOT not move my prescriptions to this Shoppers Drug Mart.

My husband and I took the time to fill out the paperwork for a flu shot, which clearly stated: "walk-ins. " I also called this store and, via their messaging, was advised: "walk-ins. "

My husband and I drove across the city early morning on the 26th to this pharmacy. Upon arrival, we are the only ones at the pharmacy. I was advised to book an appointment and to come back another day. I questioned this as nowhere did it state that we were required to book an appointment. I asked why they were refusing when they were not busy as we were the only ones at the pharmacy: the owner Tony laughed at us and stated that he would have a line up down the road if
he did walk-ins. (which they did not) The front lady was trying to accommodate us, though the Owner Tony refused us a flu shot.

Who in these troubling times refuses anyone a vaccination. He was very unprofessional uncaring, and I will never use this Shoppers Again. So I proceeded to the Shoppers on Park & King, where the ladies were professionals and caring and more than happy to accommodate us as "walk in's. "

We took my 2.5 year old here for a rapid COVID test before traveling. We had booked an appointment but ended up ahead of schedule. It wasn’t a problem, they easily accommodated us, and the pharmacist was fantastic with my son, who was nervous and scared about the experience. He was so kind to him and even showed him how the test result worked. We were in and out of there in 15 minutes! Highly recommend this location. What a fantastic team.

Pharmacy is always out of stock of prescription medications. Of all the stores I've dealt with over the years this place is the worst. The pharmacy assistants are also fairly useless and not helpful at all. Time to change stores. The owner needs to really improve the pharmacy and the associated staffing. I'm done with this store.

I received two of the medication that I already have, and none of the one I needed. I called the pharmacy and they told me it was too early to refill my medication, even though I was out of it. I told them she should refill my medication for free as they did not give me the medication I needed. She then said "what do you want me to do? " They told me I'd have to pay for a refill. I complained about their poor customer service and rude communication and then she hung up on me. I am EXTREMELY unsatisfied.

Went in today all I kept hearing was I only deal with covid tests from the girl and a pharmacist who was so rude and ignorant it was discusting.
Every Sunday the pharmacist that works this location is so rude. While you have a great education and a good career you are not the smartest or most educated in the health field.have some respect for customers.

Bad experience in this branch, One employee help me a lot in getting my passport photos for my family but there is another employee working there who is responsible about the studio was really unprofessional and I think they need to update their system and make it more effective to all customer’s requirements related to photos, moreover, problem solving skill should be improved or maybe find someone professional to be a good image for this shop, they need more customer service skills to improve the way they deal with customer. I never see this much saving in my life, they gives photos without envelope, which is really unprofessional.

1/13 for the past 2 days there is no answering on the pharmacy line or you're getting a recording saying the person is not taking calls. This makes no sense.

Excellent service at store level! However, pharmacy is a different story. They always ask if prescription is needed for the same day. I've never been asked this from any pharmacy. It is always an hour minimum for a prescription. And when asking for a prescriotion to be transferred to this pharmacy from another pharmacy.person asked for other pharmacy to fax repeat to this Shopper's location but the process should be for this pharmacy to request script from other pharmacy. NOT for patient to do the requesting. Staff does not go out of their way to provide a level of customer servide that should be a given!

I had an awesome experience at this location. I was "served" by Celeste at the Cosmetics department. Celeste was already serving other customers but professionally took a little break with the other customer. After asking the other customer if it was ok to "step away" for a second first. Celeste was warm, professional and courteous.p. S. I tried to complete the survey, but appears only good for 7 days (I think corporate needs to make this window longer to get more surveys)

Very rude and entitled cashier at the checkout. Purchase was made on Oct. 28th at 5: 19pm. The cashier didn’t greet or anything. I was using my 20x points, and the coupon wasn’t scanning at first and his response was beyond rude. Finally had the coupon and the PC optimum card scanned, but turned out none of the points were gathered on the card. All 13000+ points were missing. I called PC optimum customer service and they said I had to return to the store because my card wasn’t scanned at all. What a freakin disaster.

Picked up a Rx for 5 MTH old babe. He's NEVER had medication before. No pharmacist spoke to us. Even after parent asked for advice regarding Tylenol. She just yelled from the back of the pharmacy. It was close to closing time. Too eager to get off work than to provide advice. Very poor customer service. Perfect example of why our family uses a small privately owned pharmacy for our regular needs! Only went to this SDM as it was 9: 30 at night and Rx was needed for baby. Very disappointed!

If there was something lower than one star, it would apply. Last week I purchased a $100 gift card to Esso at this location. When the recipient went to use it, he was told it wasn't activated. I brought in the card and the activation slip to the store. I understand there are no refunds on gift cards so I was told that they needed to launch an investigation. I spoke to the assistant manager and said I'd even be willing to accept a Shopper's gift card. He phoned the manager who was not willing to speak to me and passed on the message that nothing could be done because they weren't guaranteed to retrieve the funds back. So I'm guessing it's better that a customer is out $100? ! I was treated like a "difficult customer" as if what I was expecting was somehow unreasonable. I now have to go through Esso. I'm hoping they have better customer service which seems to be a lost art form these days. I can guarantee you as a regular customer at that location, I will never shop there again. Went into this shoppers this evening to get some pharmacy items, when I approached the pharmacy to cash out my 2 PHARMACY items and one regular item, I was bluntly and mechanically responded to, by the pharmacist “they’re regular items take them up to the regular cash” when I proceeded to show him my ADVIL and TAMPONS he literally refused to cash me out even after showing him my items and continued doing what he was doing and blatantly ignored me. Never going there again, terrible customer service.
