JOHNNY HAS NO RESPECT. The store really needs to do orientation with its employees to TEACH them how to respect customers!

Worst Pharmacy! Been here couple times and only had to come here because the other shoppers didn't have my son's antibiotics in stock otherwise I would NEVER come here. Many negative reviews about the pharmacy section should indicate something. Charged for medicine that is covered through ODB for my son. My fiance went to get the meds so he doesn't know so I tried to call 3 times to get clarification and ignored phone calls. They always include a syringe to administer the drugs for my son but did not this time. I don't care, I will travel to another pharmacy and never come back here.

Have been going to this pharmacy for years as it is the closest to my house.
Every time I go there is an issue with service. They keep me waiting while they stare at their sceeens or chit chat with each other.
I always have to give my date of birth three times or more for picking up.
They are often confused and very slow.
They tell me they are busy and to come back the next day to l pick up. I go back the next day and they do not have what I need. It’s always something when I go here. Either I have to wait a long time, repeat myself over and over again, there is confusion, things take way too long or there is something wrong.

Bottom line. This pharmacy needs to focus on providing better customer service, train their staff, and have a sense of urgency when it is busy.

I am not writing this review to be hurtful, however Ia beyond frustrated with this pharmacy and consistently wasting my time and screwing things up.
I am switching pharmacy. I am done wasting my time and energy

My visit to Shoppers Drug Mart was fantastic! The store was well-organized, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the checkout process was a breeze. I was impressed by the excellent customer service.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY! This pharmacy needs an over haul! They need to fire everybody here and start over again. Absolutely horrible kind of people work here. They need to reported to the college of pharmacists. I’ve been waiting 4 days now for them to fill my daughters prescription and every time I call them, they tell me either they didn’t receive the fax or that they already sent a request? My doctors office and I am so frustrated, we are never ever coming back here again. I’ve already transferred everything to a different pharmacy and I’ve already started a complaint form to get these people evaluated. This medication was urgently needed and it was something simple they’ve given my daughter a few times before but yet now it’s taking forever for them to get it this time and I’m the middle man in trying to get them to call the doctors office! Please don’t waste your time here, go somewhere where your time will not be wasted.

On Jun. 27.2023, I purchased cosmetic product from different branch. However, upon getting home and examining the product more closely, I decided to return the unsealed product to obtain a replacement or refund as per store's return policy.
To my disappointment, when I visited the store #897 (10620 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 3C8) on Jun. 28.2023 to return the product, the staff informed me that they could not process the return and advised me to return to the original store where the purchase was made. This response came as a surprise to me, as I have returned items at other Shopper Drug Mart branches in the past without any issues. When I was asking for written prove of that rule that doesn’t allows me return item NOT in the original store, the cashier that called herself Manager couldn’t prove that.

I must emphasize that the inconvenience caused by this refusal is both unexpected and unjustifiable. It is unreasonable to expect customers to make an additional trip, particularly when the issue is not of their making. Moreover, as a large retail chain, I believe it is essential for Shopper Drug Mart to provide consistent and reliable customer service across all its locations.

I am extremely frustrated right now. If it were possible, I would give the pharmacy a zero rating. I had my prescription on my email and my doctor sent them a copy, but they insisted that no prescription was faxed to them. Despite my urgent need for the medication, they refused to help me. Fortunately, I was able to find another pharmacy nearby that was able to provide me with the medication. The entire staff at the pharmacy were speaking their own language and were extremely rude to me. Other customers were also waiting for an hour and a half for their prescriptions. Regardless of the situation, the pharmacy should have found a solution, especially when I explained the importance of the medication for me to take today.

I really like this pharmacy, I think the pharmacist working there are extremely competent and knowledgeable. Like any healthcare setting, if you treat the staff with respect they will treat you with respect as well. I'm very satisfied with this pharmacy.

The manager of the store his name is SAEID and also the manager of Canada post her name is MANDANA they have no information about their job and what actually customer service is!
Mandana is perfectly rude and disrespectful and shame on whoever hired this people to service customers.

I wish I could give a ZERO. This review is only reflective of the pharmacy and not the rest of the store which has always been fine. We have been filling prescriptions here for several years. Service was great for as long as I could remember but the last couple of years have been a joke. I understand that everyone has been under a lot of stress and that staffing has been an issue, but the attitude and service in general have been utterly ridiculous. The wait times for prescription filling is unbelievable and instead of ensuring that the customers feel valued, they are made to feel like a nuisance. I feel seen just reading the other reviews here and I can attest to their truth. The last few times my family has visited we have waited over an hour. Tonight, when I filled my prescription, the woman who "helped" me looked annoyed yet again to serve a customer. When I gave her my script, she said it would be a half an hour. WE WERE THE ONLY ONES THERE. When she saw my reaction she says, "Too long? You can't wait? Okay, 20 minutes. " We sat down and literally 3 minutes later she asks me for my name again and says, "Ready. " When she hands me my prescription, she mutters "1 pill every 12 hours. " I remember my script from the doctor saying 2 pills every 12 hours so I tell her what the doctor said. She tries to cut me off and argue with me then realizes she's wrong and doesn't apologize, just says that she meant to say 2 instead of one after I open the package and show her. Tonight was basically the last straw. Too many times I have been there with my kids waiting and being treated like nuisances. I don't understand why this employee has not been addressed to treat customers with respect and why the wait times are the way they are. I would sometimes get a text the day after I picked up my meds saying they were ready! And other times getting a text saying they were ready then I arrive to hear them say that they were not ready yet. Unbelievable. Goodbye Shoppers at Oxford. Off to a better pharmacy where people are treated like humans.

There are so knowledgeable pharmacists working there. So fast and on time services. I always go there to fill my prescriptions and highly recommend this store.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY! I am extremely dissatisfied and unhappy with the unprofessional behavior of the pharmacy staff and pharmacist. Despite waiting for 2 hours, they had all my information incorrect in their system and they were attempting to charge me an additional cost despite my insurance coverage!

I went to the pharmacy and asked weather there is available physician to see a patient. This Arrogant assigned pharmacist on duty came and talk to me in a rude way, I’m not yet finished talking and she turned her back at once. She started saying this is not a clinic this is a pharmacy, I know but I don’t have someone to ask in front of the clinic. I don’t need her smile but at least approach me or talk to me in a nice way. This is the first time I came in that store and decided to check weather there is a doctor to see a patient.and encountered an arrogant PROFESSIONAL pharmacist.

THE WORST PHARMACY DONT GO THERE, staff is rude, not enough staff, they do care about peoples health don't even acknowledge you, phone is even worse, on hold for an hour, please do not reply with same same automated response, you have no intentions of improving or care about the publics health.you should be ashamed, I feel bad for the elderly who have to put up with this nonsense. I will be changing pharmacies!

Pharmacy service was horrendous. Dr faxed in a prescription to the pharmacy and we received a call at 6: 26 PM from the pharmacy confirming receipt and telling us the prescription would be ready in 1 hour. Came in the next day to pick it up and they had no records in the system. Even after proving that it was this pharmacy that called they had to check with the staff from the prior day, then go through paper records. Apparently, they received the fax, confirmed it with us, and then just filed the paper away. Took an hour of my time to fix this. Unacceptable.

I have TDP coverage my prescription was covered last month but this month I have to pay 200 dollars for my ADHD medication.when I called trillium and the pharmacy to resolve the issue I got hung up on so now I just have to go through finals season without my medication. They don't care about their patients and that's evident I've mentioned I don't have 200 dollars to throw around I'm a student, and I rely on trillium to cover my medication but neither side will do anything about it.definitely switching pharmacies after this.

Pharmacists are incompetent and understaffed. Pharmacists do not know their own priorities or the medications they are handing their customers. Pharmacists lack the critical thinking skills to be dealing with patients. Was told to come one hour later because they were busy, came an hour later and had to wait impractically long because they did not know how to prioritize their time and process 3 customer's orders. Avoid at all costs.

Had to wait over 1 and a half hours to get 1 medication, that takes 1 minute to mix.
Never going to that location again!

The staff at the pharmacy are very helpful. I normally have to wait for over an hour to receive my prescription from other places but I was helped within half an hour and was also given step by step instructions. The staff really care here.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! You will be told they don't have your prescription and you will wait long only to find out they haven't started filling it out.

The person that did my vaccine had no people skills. She didn’t even give me any eye contact. When she called my name to come inside you can’t even understand her. She pointed my me and called me by the wrong name I had to correct her. They were so disorganized.

These guys are mostly incompetent at the pharmacy and everyone is always super aggressive. Like trying shuttle you along with as few questions as possible which is kind of frustrating when it comes to your health. It always feel like they are arguing with you. Anyways.unless you are waiting don't trust these guys to have your Rx ready even if you called. Best bet is to hover there while they fill and be prepared to wait a while!

Reached this store tonight @11: 50 pm, but it was closed. Another lady was standing outside and was also disappointed to see that it was closed early, despite mentioning on the store front that it would be open till 12 midnight. Had to rush to another store nearby

Unprofessional and disappointing service from CANADA POST employee
MANADA if she gave me wrong name I don't know. She is very rued and refused to take my package and forced me to use online to enter information and told me it is mandatory and ignord me. I had to left to other shoppers post office and he did my transaction right away.

Myself and my Husband visited the store on January 24,2021. We had the opportunity to be served by lovely Sherinn at the beauty section. Sherinn was super friendly and helpful towards us, with exceptional customer service skills.
She answered all my questions and concerns and all the products recommended by her turned to be amazing.
I suggest everyone to consult her for all your queries when visiting beauty boutique at this Shoppers.

Unprofessional and disappointing pharmacy service, we are here waiting for about 40 minutes for an antibiotic and painkiller prescribed by dentist. They said it will be ready in 20 minutes. Nothing yet. I am in pain and discomfort after a wisdom tooth extraction. So disappointed

Rudeness of staff at prescription pick-up is only equaled by the sheer lack of organization. Been here 3 times now and always waited 30 minutes to pick up a filled prescription.

Very rude pharmacy staff, they kept me on hold forever and when I tried to ask a few questions they hung up on me

BUSYYYYYY and incompetent rude pharmacy. Pharmacist was given prescription and 2 insurance forms. Couldn’t figure out how to file under one and lied about trying the other…. Asked me to pay $170 when I have coverage. Was also asked why I need my med! … are you my doctor? Then judged for needing it….

Shoppers has become a convenience store not a pharmacy. Rude af supervisor too.

This Shoppers used to have better quality staff when it comes to providing customer service. Today Feb 03 2022 at night; didn't have a good experience with the pharmacist who seemed was not willing to answer question about the drug. The reason I am pointing out to the date and time of the visit because it was not the first time having bad experience dealing with the same staff

Called into the store to ask for stock of a specific item. Drove 20 minutes to pick it up and they said they didn’t have it. Wasted my time.

Pharmacy staffs are slow and rude. Lost my faxed prescriptions several times so I needed to call the family doctor office to send it again.

This Shoppers Drug Mart location has rocketed towards the bottom with regards to service and stock, and physical maintenance. The pharmacy is woefully staffed- calls to the pharmacy for urgent refills are not returned; vitamin and herbal shelves are literally empty, with little choice/selection amongst the remaining products. My latest experience had me waiting on hold for 15 minutes to FINALLY reach a staff member and then be put on hold for ANOTHER 20 minutes to STILL NOT reach the pharmacy. This used to be a 24 hour pharmacy; hours have been cut to 16 (8 AM to midnight) - serving no one well. Try telling a sick kid in -the middle of the night - that they can’t have medicine to feel better. Finally, the store needs a thorough cleaning and total makeover. When the franchise moved to its current location, it was everything you expected from a Shoppers Drug Mart store and more; now a person is better off finding another drug store.

The pharmacy at this location is not well organized. They have very little regard for the customers who use their services and spoke to me and other customers in a very condescending manner. My prescription was faxed 5 days prior to me picking up the medication, and was still not ready. I was asked to wait 20 minutes to fill the script, which turned into over an hour wait. There were no customers at the time I arrived to pick up my medication and I understand there are several other jobs that are to be done, however, I would expect after 5 days this would have been ready. We have used this pharmacy fro 5 years and there have been similar cases to this one in the past as well. I DO NOT recommend this pharmacy.

These people are disaster. They are non professional, arogant.when I come they ignore me for 5-10 minutes, never say Hello, thank you.nothing. And of course they tell you to wait 45 minutes even if you are the only customer in drug store.

The lady at the post office is extremely rude! I've seen multiple reviews here mentioning her and I have to agree. Mandana was very unprofessional with an awful attitude this morning. There was a complication with my package and as I was explaining the situation to her, she interrupts me to say ' what do you want now', I go on telling her that I am explaing what the situation is and she tells me that I am not explaining but that I am complaining, and she basically tells me to get to the point.

It's a shame to have to give shoppers such a low rating because the other staff there are super helpful.

The pharmacy team are too slow and they don’t care about emergency situation, I explained my situation which I need asap advice and they just did their normal task which were not emergency.

Got passport passport photos for a Canadian passport after repeating 3 times to make sure it’s the right size the person made the photos too big. I would think twice before I go back there.

Again so bad service from one lady at the Post office, I didn’t get her name but the rudeness from her, actually trying to scold me for when I came to the counter there wasn’t anybody there, so when I called out HELLO to attract attention there was someone at the counter requesting service she comes out yelling at me as f I did something wrong? Well I told her. I will get her name next time. I know the post office has a union protecting the workers I think she should request a transfer, or be spoken to?
From the amount of complaints I see here it seems to the norm there

I found "Shoppers Drug Mart" a highly available, safe and quiet place one can expand their shopping habits to the supplements and drugs realm as well as "health and fitness" products still being able to receive their prescription drugs not available over-the-counter from a designated department. I only happened to face an issue once in my nearly ten visits to this business when they couldn't guide me to find a product with some specific function which I believe is so essential that may be easily found in any drug-store. But, after all, I recommend this place for high availability, range of products and the feeling of comfort I usually experience whilst surfing the store.

Worst Shoppers Drug Mart! They never answer phone calls. Some of the pharmacy staff members need training in customer service, specially how to speak to their customers with respect.

I cannot stand how rude some of the front staff people are.the worst is the rudest supervisor in the front named Joey. So much attitude and rudeness. I have never been treated so poorly at any location before. I sincerely hope he is dealt with for his attitude. Assuming head office or the store would like details, I am more than happy to share.

I only gave two stars because I like some of the pharmacists at this location. Joe and Vera are very nice. I always get my medicine and great advice for other issues.

I wish I knew what standard SDM has for hiring. I am still in complete shock at what I’ve witnessed but turned a blind eye to until today.

SDM management for the love of God send someone from head office to this locations so you can see how unprofessional the staff members are.

The pharmacy here is absolutely awful, the techs have the worst attitudes, almost every time I've come here I've seen the blonde older woman tech in some kind of altercation with a customer.

One of excellent shoppers Drug Mart. Excellent customer Services with mist of the items are in stock. Parking is available easily.

An employee there named Hannah I believe was on cash and she was so incredibly kind and friendly and their manager was also very nice and provided good customer service. Good joy to experience during this time!

Called to speak with Post office about a package i had there Held, they put me on hold over 45 minutes and transferred to 5 extensions finally post office didn't answer, after wasting 90 minutes of my time post office answered and said that she is busy try to call after an hour, very disorganized and poor service.

I went to this location, to return something due to allergic reaction.the lady with short brown hair alot of make up and mid age acknowledge me but made me wait and wait while serving people behind me to make her commission. I complained to the supervisor but nothing happen.this Is the worst shoppers to go to. Never again! Stay away!

The woman working at Canada post. If she hates her job, doesn't need to give that negative and evil attitude to the customers.she better stay home! If I see her working there again, I would not shop at this Shoppers Drug Mart anymore.

Unacceptable! This Shoppers used to be open 24/7 and are not anymore. Having been the ONLY Shoppers in the region that was open 24 hours I find this completely unacceptable. Sometimes people need to refill their prescriptions urgently in the middle of the night or get toothpaste, mouthwash, Tylenol, etc. Every area in the GTA has at least 1 Shoppers that is 24/7 to cater to them, except here, when it always has before. Sometimes cutting corners will cost you more than you bargained for. I have since boycotted this store and get my prescriptions filled at a competitor's. Your loss, Weston & friends.

The lady working at Canada post, LYDIA, clearly hates her job. She brings down the mood and has attitude issues. If you dont like your job stay home, you dont know anything about customer service.

Clean and bright store. As all shoppers way overpriced, but everything is in stock. Small coner for the canada post. Staff works quickly. They have RBC ATM and self check out cash regitry.

Worker in post office absolutely disconnected from the reality and hates her job.would not help at all to nobody inline. 5 people asked for something and she would not take her time to help and just sends them away with out answers and assistance.
