No one answers the phone, poor service, staff are not approachable, said they would transfer a prescription to another location but failed to do that (had to drive back since no one picks up the phone). Just a huge waste of time going there!

2nd shoppers drug mart is stopped at for a passport photo with a broken machine. Don’t advertise you do photos if you don’t have working cameras.

I agree with other reviewers about the long waits to pick up prescriptions and the attitudes of the staff. They act as if they’re doing you a huge favour. Today, I had a consult with the pharmacist which was a total waste of time. She knew nothing about the product and was difficult to understand. I required needles and she had no idea which size to give me. Well, I’ve lost confidence.

Long waits for pharmacy, overpriced groceries, mostly self-checkout now, and the worst for parking of all the Shoppers around. If lining Galen Weston's bottomless pockets after waiting 10 minutes to find a parking spot is your thing, this will be heaven for you.

Poor communication. Late on refills. And recently, filled a prescription twice. Not sure if there's a different owner, but I do not trust this pharmacy with adequate healthcare anymore. *edit* corporate got involved and there have been some improvements. The pharmacy hours are what keeps me there. So I have increased to 2 stars from 1.

Let all the reviews be a warning to anyone thinking about dealing with this shoppers drug mart. This is the 3rd time I’ve been shorted on prescription. Either I’m going crazy and can’t count my medication or I’m being shorted repeatedly. Will be switching pharmacies effective immediately. Being short on prescription isn’t the only issue you’ll be dealing with here. You’ll also find you’ll deal with long refill times, staff that clearly doesn’t communicate together about what prescriptions need to be filled and when it needs to be done. If you decide to use this pharmacy, don’t be surprised if you find yourself upset and wanting to switch pharmacies as fast as you signed over your prescriptions to this location. This pharmacy deserves a shut down and complete management turnover 100%

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve been there over 10 years and no one answers the phone. Ever. They’ve mixed up medications, they don’t fax doctors. They don’t answer voicemails, they lie and blame other employees. The new ownership is awful.

Absolutely horrible service. Staff are chasing their tails and seem lost. Long wait times and lines with 5+ people long. Not the same Shoppers over the last year.
Prescriptions take days to fill, then find out not the full prescription is filled. Incorrect prescription being dispensed (even after notifying staff that prescription has been reduced).
Put a prescription on hold until further notice. Received a text message that prescription is ready for pick up. Sent my husband to pick-up. Husband came home with prescription that was put on hold. Would not allow return or refund my insurance.
Obviously staff are not updating system file when changes are requested.
Moving all our prescriptions down the street.

After over 10 years of getting our prescriptions from this Shoppers location, our family had to change pharmacies due to ongoing issues after the new owner/management took over. The pharmacy service has significantly declined and many of the staff members working at the pharmacy counter are very unpleasant to deal with. During my last visit to pick up a prescription, the staff member working spoke over me, did not listen to me, and actually yelled at me more than once. Will be avoiding this location and would recommend getting your prescriptions elsewhere.

Pharmacy is horrible. Staff are unfriendly and even though there are several people behind the counter, they send one or sometimes no people to help the very long line of customers - who by the way, used their online refill service specifically so they could just pick up quickly. Even then, sometimes prescriptions are not there even when I got an email confirmation it was ready. Unfortunately will be switching pharmacies after several years at this location. There are many comments here saying the same thing yet nothing changes so obviously they don’t care about keeping customers.

If you want your prescription filled promptly, I would not go here. They seem to lose prescriptions as well - not sure if this is a computer issue or a staffing issue.

The absolute worst Pharmacy I've ever encountered. The rudest pharmacists I've ever seen. I would never recommend anyone to ever attend this location or utilize its pharmacy services.

Weekly I have to pick up a NON PRESCRIPTION item which is kept at the drug counter. It is not unusual to be in line with 5-10 people and 1 or no one serving the customers. It wasn't like this in the past. I've moved to another pharmacy which now employs 2 clerks that used to work @ shoppers. If it wasn't for the discount for seniors on Thursday & the fact that I use a mobility scooter, I'd never go back.

Initially we had no issues with this pharmacy, however the customer service has gone completely downhill. Wait times, both on the phone and in line, are horrendous. The pharmacy team is curt, impatient and not the least bit helpful. When epilepsy medication became more difficult to acquire, we were advised to change medications. Ridiculous! We have since transferred our files to another SDM.

Never used to have a problem, have shopped at this shoppers for the past 4 years. So supposedly pharmacists are allowed to prescribe for minor illnesses, one being pink eye (one of the most common things a child in daycare can contract). Don’t bother booking an appointment and coming in, they didn’t even look at my sons eye, saying because he had it for two days now I needed to see the doctor upstairs… just say you don’t see patients and don’t prescribe, it would save parents and everyone in general a lot of time. I came in previously to talk to a pharmacist about a separate issue and she was incredibly rude. I won’t be back, I would rather drive to the other shoppers or go to the rexall a street over.

If only I could give them zero stars. This used to be a great pharmacy but in recent dealings with them I am absolutely never going back. They lost a prescription I dropped off earlier in the day, said it would be ready at 4pm. Stopped in at 7pm and they didn’t have anything for me. My dentist is closed until Tuesday and I’m in considerable pain with an infection. What can I do? I am incredibly upset and annoyed. NEVER EVER will ai go back. I checked my benefits app and they have charged my benefits for this prescription…

Completely incompetent pharmacy, I've had more issues in 3 months here than the rest of my life at every other pharmacy I've used.

I will be switching pharmacies as soon as possible.

The post office and rest of the store seems fine.

Pharmacy here has become a disaster. It takes days to get prescriptions filled, it is impossible to get through the phone lines and today after our 3rd trip to the pharmacy to get prescriptions only 1 of 4 were ready. More than 48 hours have passed. Totally unacceptable. We will be looking to change pharmacies.

This was my pharmacy since they opened the doors. I am so dissatisfied with the pharmacy now that they have changed owners. Phones are not answered, very long lines, very disorganized. I will be finding a new pharmacy. So sad, as I was really happy here for so many years. This review does not pertain to the retail portion of the store.

Horrible service EVERY TIME. The only time I get decent service is if Steve helps me. I will be changing pharmacies for the entire family. Healthcare is not the primary focus of this pharmacy

The pharmacy is an absolute joke. No one is helpful, they are disorganized, rude, and I should not have to visit a pharmacy multiple, separate times, days apart to only be sent away repeatedly, even though I request refills for my medication as prescribed by my doctor. Every single time i need a refill it is at least a week long process dealing with rude individuals. I have spoken with other customers waiting in line and they all feel the same. They need to get it together

Pharmacy service has declined rapidly at this location. Nobody is answering phone calls, prescriptions are sitting and not being filled for days, staff are overwhelmed. Not good.

The pharmacy changed owner/operator a few months ago. Since than the service is horrible. Often no one answers the pharmacy phone, the new staff are not efficient, some are very unpleasant and snappy to deal with, prescriptions are not ready when they say they will be. All my recent interactions have been unpleasant.
I will be changing my pharmacy in January for sure!

The Beauty Boutique staff are friendly knowledgeable and ready to help. Big difference in the pharmacy. They should take lessons!

Horrible customer service. Waited for over an hour on hold and then hung up for postal service. The customer service agent transferred me to an incorrect department as well.
