Shoppers Drug Mart

Been a faithful customer since moving to Chatham 8 years ago. It has been a horrible experience from day one. My uncle owns a Shoppers in another city, and my brother works for Loblaws corporate. I always felt obligated to stick around. The only consistency they have at this store, is their inconsistency. Always billing issues, time issues, rude cashiers, rude pharmacy techs. Left hand never seems to know what the right hand is doing. The final straw was when I was very sick and asked for my prescriptions to be delivered. I was told it would be filled and sent the next day. Two days goes by and nothing. I called the pharmacy and they say they have no record for delivery and my scripts were never filled. Loblaws/Shoppers should be ashamed of this gong show.

Extremely rude staff and very poor customer service. I had been there for a passport photograph, and they kept giving me super dark photos with the photo cut, all crooked. I took a refund and I went to the shoppers on st.clair and they were super nice and gave me the required photos within 15 mins and was perfect and professional. Will never visit these shoppers again!

On hold currently, wish there was a direct line to humans instead of dealing with automated systems because people are too lazy to do there job.not happy

Overpriced, take advantage of people. It’s ridiculous when it costs over $8 with tax for rubbing alcohol, peanut butter $11. Shame

This pharmacy refused to provide an emergency dispensation of my husband’s puffer which he needs for asthma control. They are aware he has a prescription but instead of providing emergency supply, they let him suffer!

Shoppers pharmacy on Grand Ave is terrible. I have had an issue with filling my scripts every visit. Today I dropped off a script at 10: 30am, told it would be ready in 40 minutes. Arrived back at 12: 20 to be told they did not have it in stock and we’re getting it from another Shoppers in town. Why was I not called and told this to save a trip. I asked to have it delivered to my house then instead of running out again. At 3pm I phoned grand ave for a time when the driver leaves for deliveries, she informed that my script had not been filled yet from the other shoppers and when it was ready it would be delivered by 8pm. What the heck? Oh but wait there’s more. I asked grand shoppers if I could just go pick it up myself at the other location. She said sure, IF they have it filled and IF it’s not already with the delivery person. AND that I had to call the other shoppers to tell them to call the Grand shoppers to release my script to them. Again…. WHAT THE HECK! Which upon speaking to the other shoppers they assured my that is NOT the way it works. Grand should have called the other shoppers on my behalf. Customer service is totally out the door at the Grand location. Pharmacy area is a bunch of rude people that hate their jobs.

I would rather go without my medication then get it filled here. Ever since I switched here it's an issue EVERY single time. I'm going back to my old pharmacy immediately, and it's 1 hour away. The drive is worth avoiding Shoppers Pharmacy.

Pharmacy is unbelievably unprofessional and rude. Pharmacist spoke very rudely to me on the phone, then claimed I was rude to him. What happened to the customer is always right? Canada sure has changed and it's sad.

Really long wait times when I call the pharmacy-I’ve waited nearly an hour on the phone just to ask for a refill.

Also have had to wait upwards of an hour to pick up a script.

I just honestly think they are understaffed and need more people working there-esp the pharmacy department.

These are thieves in broad daylight!

How do one have 2 pen drives from same shoppers that have never been used after taking passports on 2 different occasions.only to state that you have to purchase another pen drive for a new passport, absurd!

Could not get to post or pick up my parcel in the post office inside the Shoppers because the employee who had the key did not come on time?
What a waste of time, very frustrating, why does only 1 employee get the key? It's ridiculous
