Shoppers Drug Mart

I cannot even describe how terrible this pharmacist is. He hates his job. He is confrontational. He is useless. I'm not certain how he even has a job. He even had the audacity to tell me my kids were not on my benefits plan so I asked to put the medication through OHIP then and he accused me of fraud. I called my benefits and he was annpyed I did. Found out he had the wrong numbers for 15 minutes while my sick child laid on a chair. Go anywhere else but here.

I got the prescription filled i was looking to get filled. It took an hour, not a big deal if you have the time or the ability to schedule your pickups.

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. My husband and I have both had issues with getting our prescriptions filled multiple times. I had to call 4 times to get a prescription renewed and they kept sending the request to the wrong doctor even though I told them which doctor it was each time. My husbands doctor called in a prescription to be filled and my husband called to see if they got the prescription and they’re answer was “no we haven’t received it yet” he called back a second time to see if they got the prescription and again they said they didn’t have it, he told them the doctor called it in, they then said their voicemail isn’t working. If my husband didn’t call to find out if they received the prescription and let them know it was called in he would never have gotten his prescription. I understand if a voicemail isn’t working but it shouldn’t allow doctor’s to call in prescriptions or they should be letting people know when you call asking if they got a prescription knowing their voicemail isn’t working. We will not be dealing with this pharmacy anymore.

The store is good and clean, large isles. My biggest issue with this place is the pharmacy part. You know the draw to the store. Not once yet I have walked in there and my prescriptions been ready. The latest one was my wife called and they said it was ready. I went in the next day and they told me it was cancelled two weeks ago. She called twenty four hours before I picked it up. I don't understand. They have a fair size staff

Terrible pharmacy. I will be driving further away to avoid the incompetence at this location.

I like the store and their products/ pricing. I was in the store Wednesday night and they did not have a cashier available, I can use self checkout but feel we should still have the option to use cash if we want to.

On going issues with this particular location my son is schizo-affective bipolar, manic he was told one of his meds where ready for pickup he gets there and guess what no medication? So why mention this to begin with, so he caused a scene not to mention what i had to deal with when he got home last night. This is a very serious illness and they should be more aware of MENTAL HEALTH and the challenges he has to go through he is on quite a few meds to control this condition.
