My daughter got dirty looks for having a bigger bag! She was just trying to get her friend a gift and came home without one! When I asked why, she said two of the night staff were giving dirty looks and talking about her which made her so uncomfortable she left! How is this aloud! I checked her bag to see if they thought maybe she stole something but no! I’m very disappointed in the customer service and if you want customers maybe don’t glare or assume things!

Their cosmeticians have some real disgusting attitude! Stopped shopping here because of how rude they are. DON'T RECOMMEND

Worst customer service ever. Called and waited on hold for 25mins to ask if the passport photo area was operating. Was told yes, showed up and they said no one was working that could do it and to come back later. After being told to come and it was open.
The guy was iggnorant to me after I said i couldnt come back. Guy was a joke. Will nwver shop there again

Shop elsewhere: 0/5 for customer service.
After gathering a few items…and almost choking at the ridiculous price of Lacteeze drops ($28…was $18@Walmart 2 years ago) …I head to the checkout, no one there, so I wait, and wait, and wait some more.
Ultimately I left my items on the counter and left. Next time I’ll toss an item near the security scanner and set it off to see if anyone works there. They’re focused on Cosmetics not on customers.
I vote with my wallet and Shoppers Hyde Park has definitely not earned my business.
I refuse to use Self-Checkout: it replaces a human…everyone needs an opportunity to work.

The pharmacist was very snark and maybe if your changing locations you should tell people that are going for prescriptions and no delivery after 4 pm real useful for people who work 9-5

The pharmacy employees are very knowledgeable and friendly:) They are super efficient as well - my parents got their booster vaccines recently, and while they were waiting after the injection for side effects, the pharmacy manager did a medication review for them, where he answered all their questions and made sure they were taking their medications properly. I really appreciate everything that the pharmacy staff has done for us!

So I rarely ever leave reviews but I don’t think I ever had a more wholesome experience shopping for something in my entire life. I’ve never met a team more dedicated to helping me resolve something as small as an optimum points issue. They could’ve easily turned me away and said to call PC and figure it out but they went out of their way to make sure they tried everything in their power to fix it before they had to resort to that. My card was acting up when trying to purchase the Nintendo switch OLED which i’ve been dying for and it was the last day to use the family & friends discount; and something like this would usually devastate me cause I was looking forward to this for so long but their kindness and eagerness to help me genuinely left me so happy I didn’t even care. We couldn’t resolve the issue on the spot and not cause they didn’t try to - - they resorted to every possible solution they could come up with but it did come down to having to talk to PC since its an issue with my card itself. They also made sure that when I come back they could help me to the best of their abilities once I figure it out with PC. I swear even if my card doesn’t work at the end of all this, as much as I wanted this to work out I genuinely wouldn’t care as much simply cause they left the biggest smile on my face when I left the store. You don’t find people that are that genuine that often so I was truly grateful. I wish I knew their names but It was the really pretty blonde girl and her blue eyed supervisor (i think). I really hope your manager appreciates you both. You both deserve a RAISE and a paid vacation lol. Thank you again!

Very hot in the store, they actually have the heat on. I can’t imagine how the staff feel having to work in that environment. Maybe head office needs to address this. It’s mostly seniors who frequent this store why not make the store more comfortable for them and the poor staff who have to work in an unsafe work environment. This is a review on the store environment not the staff. The staff are amazing.

I am not regular customer of SDM, however, this location’s pharmacist has been incredible! I tested positive for COVID and I am 66 years old. I called my local pharmacy and they were unable to provide paxlovid but suggested I call Shoppers. I did and the pharmacist was wonderful even though I have never been a patient there. He contacted my pharmacy, my doctor. The medicine was delivered quickly. And today I received a follow up call to check for side effects and how I was feeling. This is excellent customer service! I was so impressed I will take more of my business to this SDM! Thank you!

Don’t usually leave reviews but this employee made us feel incredibly uncomfortable. Went in with my Fiancé to look for a couple gifts for our family in the cosmetic section and the older women working there with black hair (didn’t get her name) was incredibly rude to us, was not willing to help in any way, and was very confrontational when I pulled out one of the drawers to look at products. Don’t know why she thought that was okay because we didn’t get any apology or anything after that. Incredibly uncomfortable experience. But not surprised after seeing the reviews here.

Very unfortunate situation that occurred at cosmetics tonight. The cosmetics employee Jalissa or Jaliza was extremely rude walking in the store, greeted my friend and I with such attitude. We were browsing around the store and happened to stop by the Clarin’s section which we were looking at the lip oils and happened to be swatching the testers. I picked up a lip oil which I ended up putting back. Continued to look around for what I came for and decide to spray some testers so I could make my decision with what I wanted. Jalissa happened to be behind me which then I asked her what her favourite scent of the Miss Dior collection was she responded with such attitude and said it’s a “personal preference. ” Well obviously? It was just a question…. After I found the fragrance I wanted and had her set it aside so I could grab other things in the store. She proceeded to stop my friend and I and asked for the “lip oil back. ” Which left my friend and I confused because we had nothing with us. She was quite confident that we had it and demanded we show her where it was… Walked back to the Clarin’s selection which then we pointed out the item was back where it was supposed to be, I even held up the tester that was in front of the item so she could see that nothing was “stolen” still didn’t quit believe us and apologized as if she was in the right. I ended up telling her I didn’t want to give her my business due to the treatment we received and ended up going to another shoppers that gave us excellent customer service.

Terrible experience in the cosmetic section at this location, lady running the front desk was extremely rude and unhelpful. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

Such a terrible pharmacy experience. The last year has been increasingly terrible getting medications filled, having them filled by the right time, and having the correct dosages on the medications. When I was first diagnosed type 2 diabetic, I asked for the pharmacy to explain how to do the injections I needed and work the glucometer. To which that individual just handed me the supplies and said “you just poke yourself” and dismissed me. My most recent interaction I had, they filled the entire script when I asked them to only fill half. So they corrected this when I went to pick up the meds, or so I thought. Went back late last week when I was getting texts from their automated system saying I was out of my diabetes medication, assuming it was filled. It was not. Had to explain that half the script should have been put back, as I did not ask for it to be filled. They assure me the issue would be corrected and meds would be ready when I requested. I go back this evening to pick up, and they have the first part of the script ready, and I asked why it was not the second part and correct dose I am on, which the pharmacy should be well aware given the script. I hate to think what this situation would be like for someone who needed real life saving medication. I will be moving my prescriptions elsewhere, after my most recent encourage.

Don't like leaving bad reviews even after bad experiences. - came here to see if others had bad experiences with the pharmacy recently as well. I guess there is a reason why the rating for the pharmacy is pretty low. Didn't have a good experience either. Poor management, very poor communication. The pharmacists seem to know their stuff but with such poor management at the front it is hard to trust. Will not go back.

The women working in the cosmetic/fragrance section are usually really nice. I went in a few nights ago to find out if they had a go-to moisturizer I always use. The woman working there Jalissa (sorry if the spelling is wrong) asked if I needed help. When I did and asked if they had it she responded “no” with the most amount of attitude in the world and walked away from me to go back and talk to the other woman working in that section. I want to apologize to her for inconveniencing her by asking her a simple question that is part of her job. I suggest working somewhere that isn’t a problem for you when having to deal with the public. Why bother asking to help if you find it such a problem to help? Seriously she’s beyond rude! Do not go to this location for cosmetics and fragrances. I left and purchased my $137 fragrance from a different location. Why give money to a location that I’m an inconvenience too. There wasn’t a single other customer there except for another employee asking questions. Such a shame but even with gas prices I will avoid this store and drive further from my house just so I don’t have to receive attitude.

It's too bad that I put the prescription on a Friday and when I go to get it they tell me they lost it and tell the doctor to send again and tell me they don't have the medicine now my son can't breathe from the severity of the infection in his chest I am very sad for my child because he has not taken the medicine for more than a day I am waiting for them and tomorrow I have to see another pharmacy to contact them to transfer the prescription to the second pharmacy, but I received a call and he told me that they did not receive any prescription.

I don't really understand what's going on, especially since the prescription is for a young child and he needs medicine

The pharmacy at this location is THE WORST. The assistants are rude, don’t say thank you and are clearly hating their jobs. All the girls are sourpusses and The pharmacists aren’t much better. Yikes.
