Sarah Yeo is the best pharmacist at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Klondike in my opinion. She is the one I trust with everything for my family. If there is ever a problem with medications or we need advice Sarah is our go to person.
If there is a pharmacists of the week, month, year then Sarah gets our vote hands down. Thank you Sarah.

Many frustrating experiences with unprofessional and unfriendly pharmacists who provided a misleading information.
The pharmacists treated an elderly person in an aggressive way and wanted to charge him for a medication covered by insurance and made an unfair comment about the doctor who prescribed it. When dropping the prescription even that I asked about the price but they had not provided which is a lack of professionalism, knowledge, and transparency. Then, when I showed the pharmacist the insurance coverages she tried to explain in a different way that should be communicated with the patient from the beginning.
Not recommended.

Thank you, our local pharmacy, for not lending their washroom to a 4yo kid. We went there to get antibiotics for my 4yo. She did pee at home before we headed out but needed to pee again when we were in the store. Shoppers said NO and I had to carry her and rush to Freshii across the plaza. Way to go, Shoppers!

I can understand the convenience of shoppers and extended hours but the prices are way too high. Loblaws and superstore are also under the same brand owned by Loblaws and their prices are much lower and even their markups are too high.the other grocery chains are no better, I give the exception to Costco as you do see huge savings even with the cost of the membership. You get that cost back just by pouring gas at their gas stations.

My family and I went to get travel vaccinations at this pharmacy. The experience was terrible.

There was one staff member and one pharmacist there and a line up of three people waiting for their flu shots along with people picking up medication. I later learned that one of the three people had an appointment for 9: 00 and didn't get his vaccination till 10: 15am.

We had booked an appointment was at 10am. At 10: 15, I asked when it was our turn and one of the staff said the 2nd pharmacist was late. At 10: 30, I inquired again as I had to get to work and my kids had to go to school. The pharmacist said the second pharmacist was sick and she would do our vaccines. We waited again and finally got our vaccination at 10: 40. I found it frustrating that it took 40 min to get vaccinations when our appointment was at 10am. I ended up having to take extra time off work and my kids had to miss school because of logistics. Another frustration is that each vaccination costs $20 to administer.

I spoke to the owner of the pharmacy who came in at 10: 45 and got some excuse that the 2nd pharmacist called in sick that morning and instead of cancelling appointments, they were trying to find a replacement. Apparently, the replacement could only come in the afternoon. I would have thought they would have a contingency plan in place, for example the owner could have come in earlier to help.

I will not be using the pharmacy in future for any vaccines and would rather give the $20 to my family doctor where I know I won't have to wait 40min for a vaccination

I changed my review from 5 to 1. The pharmacists never answer the phone or just hang up the call. I live rurally so I cannot just pop in to the pharmacy with a question and I need to know about possible drug interactions But the last time I was able to reach a pharmacist was
Months ago by phone. Wondering about changing pharmacies.

Would not recommend for passport photos. Took my 4-month-old to get hers and was told the employee was on break but would be back in 15 minutes. We ended up waiting 45 minutes and the employee never returned. Very frustrating! Would recommend going elsewhere for passport photos, especially with a baby.

I went into this shoppers today as my 4 year old daughter had to use the washroom. We were going to pick up snacks at the same time. I asked the employees to use the washroom which I’ve done in the past, one was about to let us then the other told us we’re not allowed as it’s a new policy.
My 4 year old daughter ended up soiling herself and I was really disappointed in the store. I completely understand these 2 employees were just following protocol, but it doesn’t sit right to me to not let a 4 year old girl use your washrooms, which I know they have a couple private washrooms in the back…
shoppers is a great place but the experience just put a sick feeling to my stomach, hopefully this policy can be revisited, or stores can have the decency to let children use the washrooms.

Someone left one of their shopping carts outside of the store. The shopping cart then rolled downhill and hit my car in the parking lot. I asked to review the footage to help identify who did it. They told me only the manager has access to security footage and he would contact me in a couple of days. Guess what, it’s been a month lol.

As a nurse, I am honestly extremely disappointed in the lack of quality services with this pharmacy. Since my transfer from another local shoppers I have had nothing but issue after issue filling the prescriptions for my family. I have wasted 2 drives in the last 24 hrs, one spending over a half hour waiting to sort out ONE standard prescription, and continue to be on hold (currently 25 mins and still waiting) to sort things out. If I could rate 0/5 I would. I have never left a bad review anywhere before. I could imagine the ramifications for someone who cannot advocate for themselves.

Just went in to shoppers with 3 of my buddies and when we entered we were browsing for snacks and stuff we passed a ball once then went to the cologne section and within 2 minutes an employee came up to us, accused us of stealing and we offered for her search us, she said no then kicked us out

Me and my 3 friends got kicked out because we were “stealing” we offered to search us but very overweight employee said no and if we didn’t leave she would call the cops. The only thing we did was walk around for about 3 minutes and my friend had the stuff in his hands he wanted to buy. She told us not to be in a group late at night when there was another group of girls our age there. I feel very attacked and the employees are not very cool 1 star

I have only had issues since transferring my prescriptions to this location. The latest is when they overcharged me for my medication because they failed to apply a drug assistance card that has been on my file with Shoppers Drugmart since I began my treatment. Better training, attention to detail is needed. It is clear that you can see it when the medication is rung up that there is a big difference in price between the two bottles of the same brand of medication, so a bit of verifying things like this would save a lot of issues. Now it’s on me, a non-driver, to make sure I get into the city to fix the mistake within 2 days I was told. I get people make mistakes, however it has been one thing after another here where it’s rarely been a seamless process to just go and pick up my medication, even though I am trying to use their pharmacy application and their tools to do so.

If there was an option for less than one star they would get it in a heartbeat. I am still waiting for a call back from head office from Christmas and still wondering what happened to the employee that when I asked her her name goes by go F your self two managers teaming up on one customer. One manager. Making fun of me and the company I work for on my jacket then claiming they had witnesses that only approached the counter after I yelled at them after I wouldn't consider that a witness that missed everything leading up to it

I have been this store this morning to buy something to redeem my point by the store bonus.but when I pay my bill, the casher told me that my shopping item have a limit of 4. I have checked flyer again, but can not find any notion of limit. I have been checking in the store and can not find any limit sign too.there is a Rxmall store opposite of shopper drug. If your store already treat your customer like this, Why we go to your store.every store have the right to make their policy as long as this policy following regulation and law.but you should let customer know the limit before the customer come to your store, otherwise in my knowledge and understand that you cheat customer.

Don't support this place. Online booked for a test a week in advance and they weren't able to do the test when I arrived. It was a test required by work before a flight. Showed them emailed confirmation for their store by Shoppers. Instead of try to help rectify the situation, the pharmacist, Sarah, refused to do anything including, when asked, she wouldn't try to get me in somewhere else or gather the items to do the test (make an exception) or even to just give a written statement saying she was unable to do it. Then she started raising her voice and debating the semantics of can't vs won't. For some reason their business making a bad booking seemed be my fault. You can probably imagine the negative words I'd like to use to describe this pharmacist who left me to find my own last minute solution to their error.

A) bad communication with their online system.
B) poor customer service with no attempts to do what they could or ownership of errors
C) terrible manners and rude, demeaning attitude

If I could give zero stars, I would!

Assistant Manager and Manager are arrogant. It They are not helpful, especially on returning.
If you are not sure on a product do not buy from this location. Customer satisfaction is zero. If a product is broken your are on your own.
