I had quite a bad experience with the pharmacy at this shoppers location all throughout the day, talking to multiple different people. First i use the automated phone system to order my refill on my prescription. I had a simple question so i decided to wait on the line to speak to an associate. Whoever i spoke to was incredibly rude, and i was nothing but nice. I then called later in the day to get a prescription transferred to this shoppers location (as i am temporarily living in Orillia). Not only did the Orillia shoppers ask for a transfer for the wrong prescription, but they continued to blame it on me when i went to pick it up. Even when I went in person, the 2 people who helped me out were rude, dismissive, and again i was nothing but nice and accommodating. The 2 associates were respectful and friendly with everyone in the line except for me. Most defiantly do not want to come to this pharmacy again.

Absolutely the worst shoppers drug mart to go to for prescription's!
super dysfunctional and unorganized and some staff are just absolutely careless and rude! Like Linda absolutely trash attitude and so on! ….

They never have anything you need for prescriptions or they can never find them or they have an extended weeks wait period on time sensitive monthly prescription's …
they are never able to get the prescription refill coverage on time from what ever coverage your have.

They guy with the nice curly hair is a absolute Jem and so is Christina Chung 10/10 hands down and they are trying to fix the mess from previous miss haps

“Too busy” for anyone to answer the phone at the pharmacy got hung up on after 15mins of being on hold. Hire some more people don’t be so cheap. Next thing ya know they will be replacing those workers with a self check out lol.

I agree with the other reviews the owner of this location should be investigated! There is some sketchy things going on here (example: lying to people who NEED their medication and saying that they don't have any available when they do) there is many more reasons that is just to name one of them. Will definitely be talking to higher ups about this location.

Lousy store, especially the pharmacy. Won’t use shoppers ever again.
I called the 800 number you gave me, and hung up the phone after waiting 35 minutes on hold. You must have a lot of complaints if someone has to wait so long to get to customer service!

The good:
The staff here are nice and approachable and the store is clean and well stocked and organised. The pharmacy and canada post outlet are also quite good from my experience.

The bad:
All day the storefront entrances at this location are surrounded by people begging for money, buskers, disabled people and drug addicts. It's hard to navigate around them. Normally I wouldn't care but recently I was verbally abused by people blocking the entryway. I'm not mad at them, their lives are hard, I do however blame the owner of this shoppers drug mart who is complacent with operating a homeless drop-in centre and who turns a blind eye to the safety of their customers.

I highly recommend you not come here unless you are drunk and homeless and need a place to panhandle.

Went in with a friend. One of the workers basically demanded we leave self checkout to go to her checkout. Went into my friends bag to check her prescription without permission then accused us of stealing.

Today I was with my friend shopping in store also picking up prescriptions. We were approached in the fragrance beauty section because I had four perfumes I was buying. At first the sales rep. ELNIS long dark and had an accent. We talked about colognes because I was looking fir the one my son liked. Which they did not have. The three I asked about were discontinued. So we talked and the rep was going to give me samples of perfumes. So I had more shopping to do. Picked up my prescriptions. The beauty followed us through the store. Kept telling me to come over and check out at her department. We kept telling her that we are not done shopping yet. So my friend and I were shopping through the store still bei g approached by her a few times fir the same reason of her demanding we go check out now when she at her department. So after my friend and I looked at halloween stuff, took pictures with the masks on. One I was purchasing. We finally were finished after buying candles. We went to self check out. The beauty rep Elnis, was right saying to my friend about after my friend said oh geez it $20. She cane rught up took it out of her hand, said oh you don't want t this give it to me and took it from her. She was rudely demanding me to cancel my checkout after I had already started.she reached into my bag and was taking things out saying I didn't want them after I had already scanned them and pit into the bag. She then was being extremely rude and took my bag and canceled my self check out on me. So we went to beauty to check out because she had my my stuff. After getting over there.she started accusing of stealing. Told me we were being watched and that the police were waiting to get me once I walked outside. For one I was not stealing. For two she had no right to accuse me, three she had no right to take my bag and cancel my checkout. She had no right to follow us around the store and demand each time to check out. No right to help herself to go into my bags. She made me feel awful. You don't treat people like how she did. Very rude to me and my friend. I was even buying a lot of things. I will never deal with her again.probably going to switch to the other Shoppers in town because of her.

This is the most difficult Pharmacy to communicate with. They never answer the phone, you are on hold for over 15 minutes. You go in and wait in line for your prescription, just to find out it isn't ready yet.

The pharmacist on duty Sept 1,8pm was overworked and understaffed but was polite and cheerful. Connor ensured that customers felt cared for, not processed. Kudos!

So we look online to get a passport photo done for our new babe. The requirements are the baby to be 1 month old and have their eyes open and only certain places do infants. As anyone with a child would know this is difficult (and we know it's also difficult for the photographer), a passport is required and the reason for that is none of anyone business. Your website says you do infant passport photos. When my wife arrived yesterday, she was instantly given attitude by the short blonde greasy haired rep.at the cash.she had no interest in trying to serve us at all, she picked up the phone to call the "photographer" but never hit any buttons and instantly said they're on break. Okay, no problem, need to get this done so we can wait.seems to us she was responsible for doing this on this particular day, not sure if someone else called in sick or what happened but over 40 mins later she's still giving attitude.saying how she's busy with customers and she will get to it when she's not helping the ghosts because there was no one she was cashing out.finally get the picture after much attitude and next thing we know she tells us the program doesn't work and we have to go elsewhere.asked what she was doing with the 3 photos of our precious baby, she said I guess delete them? We happened to see on the computer a great photo and eyes opened, we made a comment that the picture was great in hopes we would hopefully make her feel good and hopefully get it.her response "ya, oh well, have to delete it"

It's absolutely disgusting, and I see based on recent reviews, there needs to be some changes made at this location.shoppers in general, have really gone downhill.

Trusted this place for years and recently the pharmacy let me down. Always check the instructions on your medication cause it may not be correct. I’m glad no long term harm was done to me. Now I’m switching Pharmacies as I no longer trust them.

Skip ahead to Aug 22 2023. I should never went back. And now I’m done with this pharmacy for ever. Being told I already picked up my prescription and that I was a liar and they would have to check the cameras to see when I picked up my prescription was the last straw.

This pharmacy is horrible! They tell the customers they are out of medication when they literally aren’t. The owner of this store needs to be held accountable for what she’s doing to the public. Why would you become a pharmacist just not to help people I don’t get it. Everyone should contact corporate about this location.

The pharmacist was very helpful in helping me locate an item that they don't carry, at another store. She went beyond just telling me they don't sell the product by looking it up online for me.

I asked an employee name Courtney if I could use the washroom, but was flatly denied on my request and told me to go to metro grocery store and use their bathroom instead. I was informed that shoppers drug mart washroom is not allowed to the public.it was a bad experience and a terrible customer service!

I am switching pharmacies. I will use a small independent pharmacy. I have used this Shoppers as my pharmacy for 15 years. The prices of products are often 30 to 40% more than Walmart. I had my passport picture taken there yesterday and it was $24.95 + tax. I did not ask the price before having it done. A regular chocolate bar is $2.19. At the Dollar Store the same chocolate bars are. 87 cents. Not enough cashiers. Many more issues that I have noticed but not enough room to type.

The pharmacy are beyond rude, i had a manager get upset with me because i tried going out the wrong door.no manners or respect i got screamed at. This place is the worst shoppers in ontario, every single staff member needs to learn some sort of proper

This is a 4 part review. First for the pharmacy (5 stars) and the second for Canada post (5 stars) fourth for the beauty selection and forth for the store (NOT including the beauty selection) 2 (stars).

I give 5 stars for the pharmacy. The staff are very, very kind and helpful. When I had a bladder infection the pharmacist gave me the right medication so it went away in the correct amount of time. She was warm and polite. Whenever I come to pick up my daily meds the staff are polite and make it a priority to treat patients well.

For Canada Post I give 5 stars. The staff are kind and the wait times aren’t bad.

For the beauty selection I give 5 stars. The staff are very polite and very knowledgeable about beauty products.

For the store (NOT including the beauty selection) I give 2 stars. I normally don’t give bad reviews but for this I had to. Two of the cashiers are rude, I kid you not. They’ve been snobbish and rude to me even though I’ve minded my own business while buying goods. The one had a non-working friend near by and seemed more concerned talking to her friend than cashing my order out. When I kindly asked for a receipt she pouted and huffed and rudely said ‘here’. Only to blab and blab to her guy friend. The other staff member looked very miserable and when I got my change she didn’t care about giving me the wrong change. She gave me 5 cents extra because she couldn’t be bothered to get some nickels. I complain about that because I wonder if she makes it a habit to give the customer more change than they should get. Simply because of her unprofessional attitude.

Shout out to the woman in the cosmetics dept.who helped me with a return and then pick the right shade of foundation. It's perfect. Very helpful and attentive. I appreciate that.

Yep, I have to agree with other reviewers. It seems this place has bitten off a little more than they can chew. I like using their app, but absolutely hate going in person. From the parking to the line-ups, to the wait time. I just tried calling and got a busy signal (haven't heard one of those in a while). I just feel like I'm in the way with them.
Update: Thanks for the copy/paste response. It's 8: 30 a.m. And I just took a minute to call and sort out a prescription that is running out before its refill date (again). After being on hold for a couple songs from the 80s playlist, I hung up. It's great that you're busy, but so are the rest of us. Sort yourselves out.get a system.
