Shoppers Drug Mart

Update: Staff never actually followed up to contact me, so they just took my personal info and did who knows what with it! Be wary when buying trading cards at this location! I have gotten a few batches of packs from here that have had signs of being tampered with. Store also doesn't carry many of the items found of most Shoppers Drug Mart locations (including major flyer items).

Outdated old review: Staff is extremely helpful and provides the best customer service of any location I have visited. They were out of stock on an item and so the manager took my number to be able to get back to me when the item I need is in stock, which is amazingly considerate! Also one of the better Shoppers locations when it comes to keeping on top of inventory!

If i could rate a negative star i would, horrible experience with the pharmacist, regarding my prescription. She was so rude and condescending i could not believe the way she talked down to me, i can understand policies and what not, but as a pharmacist you should remain professional and not dismiss people especially when it's regarding serious health matters, I've never had any issues with other pharmacists there but this one should be ashamed of herself. Will certainly not be dealing with this pharmacy any longer.

There needs to be an option to review only the pharmcy and not the store since the staff is nice but the pharmcist yazmin is the most disrepectful person in the health care field I have ever come across and it is disgusting to watch her verbal abuse against the patients and the endless false acqusations she makes against her client. She should have a degree in rolling her eyes.

This shoppers has the most disrespectful staff that I have ever seen. I had some issues w the eye liner QUO beauty is called in violet color. So after I had the liner on for few hours I could see that the ink was easily removed but I had pink stain on my eyelid I tried to remove it but I couldn't so I just decided to leave it. The next day my eyes were sore.so I called shoppers first I talked to one staff she couldn't help me then she asked for someone else. Oh my God she was ever so angry at me and very aggressive voice and she kept saying it's final sale cannot be returned. She wouldn't let me talk. Then she just put the phone down on me. I couldn't believe what just happened. Anyways, I know that this shoppers dosen't even care about customer service they provide its a shame and this is not a first time. I had to give one star if there was anything lower I would had been happier to rate them. What a shame.

Just came back from visiting this great location! At the pharmacy, Claudia welcomed us with a great smile! She was kind, caring, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient! We decided to get our medication from there from now on. The place was clean, well stocked and the staff was smiling! A huge contrast from our neighborhood drugstore. I'd rather drive there for the outstanding service!

The worst service, I guess they don’t have a boss.
They should fix the way how they work.
No ethics they don’t follow the schedule/appointment.

Yasmin is the worst pharmacist and is condescending, rude and disrespectful. Too bad because everyone else there is great.

A big pharmacy that offers all the products you can think of. Also Carrie’s a full line of cosmetics.

Sept 11th at around 6: 30 pm- I’ve asked one of the staff at the counter on help for an over the counter medication. She spoke to her colleague (pharmacist) on their language (hindi) and started laughing, continue to spoke to their language and the “pharmacist” said “…so annoying” before finally attending on me. I’m not sure if thinks so highly of herself, however, as a medical professional as well, that’s not how you treat your “patients”. It’s unprofessional, rude and unethical as a pharmacist. Hopefully, the HR would look on this.

If I could rate it 0 I would because the pharmacist Yazmin is the rudest person I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She talks down to me, my spouse and is incredibly spiteful. She has lied about not receiving prescriptions from my Dr (both scripts were on the same fax, my Doctors receptionist was on speaker phone with me telling her it was impossible not to be there since the other medication was) just to call and say it’s miraculous arrived and ready the moment I left the store. I can’t count the number of times she’s made me cry both in person and on the phone, I try so hard to avoid her. I see her be rude to other customers every time I’m there. I was told she had left the store but unfortunately she’s still there as of this date. I don’t drive and this is the closest pharmacy to my house.

Waste of time. Often out of stock and prescriptions not filled by staff on time! Takes days to get what you need.

The pharmacy department is one of the most understaffed in Ottawa! Whenever I try to get a hold of a pharmacist by phone, I am placed on hold for an eternity. It is very frustrating not being able to ask questions I need answered. Hire more pharmacists and technicians!

Be cautious. The price they charge and the price on the label counters are different. Take a picture of item and match it with the bill. I was wrongly charged, after noticing they fixed it. Just for client’s safety please ensure that you are fairly charged.

I didn’t like the staff’s attitude in Beauty section!
Even they started speaking French in front of us! So rude!

Website stated the store was to open at 930, but still waiting almost 15 mins passed with no signs of shoppers opening anytime soon.

I went to the pharmacy as soon as it opened on Monday, Oct 17. I got very poor customer service. The girl with the glasses and black hair was very rude and had no idea how to fix up my refills for a particular medication. She seemed as if she was holding herself back from screaming at me to get lost.
