Shoppers Drug Mart

Made an appointment for a vaccine. Multiple confirmation emails and we even called to confirm, but when we got there they didn't have it.

I had a scheduled appointment for a minor illness assessment. When I arrived I checked in and was told to wait till I was called. I chatted with other people waiting and soon realized that people with later appointments were being called ahead of me. After waiting over 30 minutes I approached the counter and explained that I had an appointment. Showed my email confirmation. The male pharmacist there yelled at me that he did not have time to see me. To come back in 6 hours. This appointment was for a suspected UTI. I was in some discomfort. I trusted their advertised services. I didn’t believe that any professional would bully and scream at a 62 year old woman. I was disrespected and embarrassed in front of other customers.
When I spoke to the store manager he agreed. He said the owner would be in touch. But I have received no apology. There has been no regret on their part for leaving a customer in pain when it could have been easily addressed. I was reduced to tears.
There is no excuse for bullying and abusing customers.
I will never recommend this store.

This Pharmacy is very very disorganized. Everytime I get medication sent here they say it will be ready the next day.once the next day comes they say it’s not ready for whatever reason and they do not know why. I Call back and i am told it will be ready in an hour…. Then 3 hours of waiting it’s still not ready and they cannot find it. Or it’s locked and they cannot access the certain medications. You are a pharmacy lol! This place will keep you waiting and waiting. If you are in need of medication right away this is not the place. They will have you doing a run around. Even calling this place will make you wait 20 mins or longer just to speak with someone. Overall rating 0 ️. This isn’t the first time and clearly not the last. Will be changing pharmacies.

I witnessed some thing today at the Embrun Shoppers Drug Mart that I can’t condone.
I was at the “drop off” counter when a senior pharmacist was berating a young employee in front of five other employees and the customers. I was so uncomfortable witnessing this that I have pulled my prescription file and will not support a business where they feel they can treat their employees without respect.

Worst pharmacy I have ever been in. The pharmistist was extremely rude, and even though my prescription should have been ready, he continued to make me wait. I will never spend another dime in that store.

This is the worst pharmacy Ive ever dealt with. A couple of weeks ago. Walk in. After I got the pick up text. They couldnt find my order. Looked for 20 mins. I had to come back. Another time. I show up to pick up and she cant find that my order had been placed. A young clueless clerk had no idea what to do. She said it would be about an hour. So I left and came back next day. Today my doc emails an order at 3 pm. I call at 6. The clueless answers and says I dont see an order. Then she finds it. Says it will be ready in an hour. I show up. She says I dont see that your order is ready. She comes back. It will be another half hour. Im super pissed now. Im done with these guys.
I want to add. Stop sending generic apology responses and fix your level of service.

This location is not actually open until midnight on Sunday. Sent my son there for medication and it was closed. Would have been nice to know in advance.

Called on august 25th at 9: 40am. My package is being held at their post office and their hours are only 10-6. The rude man that answers the phone at 9: 35am at customer service told me too bad that’s their hours and I need to figure it out and come on my lunch hour. Diplorable customer service I will not be doing any business at this shoppers drug mart!

One of the worst pharmacies I've had the pleasure of using for my prescriptions. It takes too long to fill prescriptions, they continuously lie about staffing (I was once told 4 members called in sick and he was alone.show up 15 minutes later and there are 4 people working). There is no effort to help others. Will leave this pharmacy soon. Don't go here.

I was looking to switch from a Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy in Ottawa to one close to home (Embrun Shoppers Drug Mart), but after reading these reviews, I believe that this would be a huge mistake on my part. I am a stickler for Customer Service and based on the reviews stating sub-par Customer Service on too many occasions, this Pharmacies just would not do for my needs and expectations. Yikes.

Insufficient supply of items advertised as “ON SALE”. On a Sat and Sunday 2 day sale, salted butter advertised as ON SALE sold out by 11 am Sat morning. Don’t waste your time and gas going to their sales.

I started using this pharmacy since moving to town and last week I bought a perfume off the reduced rack and a hear over the intercom there is suspected shoplifting in isle what ever and I look up and I'm the only one in the isle.the staff that night seemed to be a bunch of kids.anyways I'm absolutely disgusted as for 1 I buy minimum 1 bottle of perfume a month And second am not a thief.so now unless I absolutely need to, will go to a different shopper's drug mart where I'm not insulted indirectly

Two in a row absolutely terrible pharmacy services. The Pharmacist was questioning what was prescribed to my wife for pain management postpartum. He ended up calling the Dr and the Dr advised him that it is perfectly safe and required for persons after a C section. HE left my wife in pain for several hours waiting for clarification on something he should have known. The associate working was also very rude. Prior to this encounter a few weeks ago I was filling another prescription for post root canal pain management and I was waiting in the pharmacy for 2 hours because the pharmacist was not able to fil the prescription, did not know how to use the computer system and was just at a loss in general. I dont understand how on earth this person is a pharmacist. All other encounters at this location with staff have been fantastic, my complaint is about the pharmacy only.

Purchased a travel adapter and tried to return it one hour later as it was not what I needed. The box had previously been opened. Was told they do not take electronics back. No signage by the electronics to indicate no returns. Was told by the store manager that it was in the store policy I could find online. I guess you should consult policy before buying something. Never going back to a shoppers drug mart again.

I worked at shoppers drug mart for about 7 months before out of the blue they decided to fire me for theft and fraud off of a computer I can not get to. I have been asking a month now for proof and they refuse to speak with me. You think their customer service is bad? How they treat their employees is worse. Everyone there is so full of hate. The managers are extremely neglectful, I spilled something corrosive on my hands and they refused to let me go to a hospital after it’s burned skin off.terrible customer service, terrible training, terrible people. I hope people see how awful this place is.

I had called to see if someone was there to take passport photos. I was told that they had someone there today. I then drove 30 mins to go there and was told they had no one to take pictures till 4 pm (this was 1: 30 and I called at 1) I wouldn't of wasted my time going there if no one was there.

Yes it is unfortunate, the staff at this store is poorly trained and candidly not very well supervised. At the prices being charged you would expect more. I limit m exposure as much as possible. Amazon is my go to, Amazon COMPLETELY understands service!

We got passport photos done for our daughter and it was an unpleasant experience from beginning to end. We drove 45 min into the city to get her passport done at Service Canada. The Photos were rejected because they were blurry. Rather than drive back to have them taken again, we just got them done close by in the city. On our way home, we stopped in to get our refund and the young lady serving us was very kind, however the manager was quite unpleasant and hesitant to give us our refund.

As if I was trying to scam them for free photos.free blurry photos.
Come on now.

My advice to all, is to go somewhere else for passport photos.

Site says you can book a vaccine appointment yet it doesn't have it anymore?
There is never anyone at the cash registers.
