Usually don't go out of my way to do these unless i'm either impressed or really not impressed.this time it's the latter. Seems like I'm not the only one that has had a poor experience. I booked online appointment for two inoculations at the shoppers pharmacy. When I got there I was greeted by someone who should not be remotely involved in the customer service industry, based on his demeanour and lack of customer service. From the get go I seemed to bother him! And when I told him I had an appointment he just looked away at this women (pharmacist I guess) and she also asked me if I had appointment. They did not seem to have a clue that they had this appointment scheduled. Then they (the young man that was there) finally started asking me personal information along with my health card. What ensued was just plain dreadful when t comes to customer service. They just seemed bothered that they had to deal with this appointment. So, I took my health card back and left and made a promise to never go back to that location. Nor will my partner who's a very frequent customer. I travel further rather then go there.

For whatever reason, this location has trouble understanding the insurance for prescriptions picked up at the pharmacy. I can’t blame anyone for that because I don’t know if it’s an issue with the system at that particular store, or if staff weren’t trained properly, or anything like that. However, when I go to the shoppers in Bronte, their system automatically calculates the cost that I would have to pay for my prescription to be $0.00 which is correct because I know that my insurance covers it. Whenever I go to the Rebecca location, I consistently have to tell them that the cost should be covered by insurance. Sometimes they’re able sort it out, sometimes they’re not and still make me pay. Honestly, whether intentional or not, I feel like I’m being scammed every time I get a prescription from this location.

Again, I don’t know if maybe their system has some sort of issue or what, but if you want to be sure that you are paying EXACTLY what you are supposed to pay, do not go to this location because your insurance may not be correctly understood, I’d suggest going to Bronte instead (friendlier and more dedicated staff work in Bronte anyway).

I would’ve given this review 3 stars if not for the one person working in the pharmacy with curly blonde hair and glasses who doesn’t know that there’s a certain part of her job that involves interacting with people instead of sitting on a computer doing whatever. A year or so ago, I came in and there were two people working, her and someone else. She said out loud that she was, at that present moment, looking at a Thai restaurant. Meanwhile I had been standing there waiting for someone to help me for at least 2-3 minutes. The other staff member who was ACTUALLY working and doing her job had to stop what she was doing to help me so that the other one could continue to prioritize Thai food. I work in customer service and if I did that, I would’ve been yelled at by the customer and my boss would’ve had to reprimand me. She has not improved since then, always had an attitude, and I rarely see her doing anything other than being on that one computer at the drop off section.

Don't go to this location. Go to the Bronte location instead, they’re only a 3 minute drive from each other anyway and cheaper in the long run: 2297 Lakeshore Rd W

Edit: I’d also just like to say that if the pharmacy owner replies with one of those fake sincere comments that say “this is not up to our standards and we are sorry please call this number” I will lower my rating to 1 star because if it were actually a concern for them, they’d fix the issues they have with staff instead of putting bandaids on each individual issue and letting things continue the way they have been.

How comes they can still keep such a high rate as 3.1. We are really to nice. I just came out from this shop. I stand there a long time but nobody even said hi. They walked around, they absorbed in their desktops. Nobody cared about me standing in front of them that long. And I started to doubt if I had a new superpower Invisibility.

I am extremely disappointed with the way Pharmacy is operated at this Shoppers location.

Had my mom's RX faxed twice on Saturday, when I went there to pick up they said there was no fax. Had to wait over the weekend to contact the physician's office to follow up on Monday. I was told to go there again and check with the pharmacy. I did and they said the fax came late, around 6: 30 PM and we close at 7 PM. Asked for a copy of the prescription and noticed they got it on Saturday!

Anyhow, had to go back again to pick it up on Monday and I complained why they did not contact us on Sunday for an important medication. The Pharmacist answer was "OH". I am not kidding, that was the only response of being so ignorant and lazy to do their important job. You guys play with people's lives and just say OH!

Just learned my lesson today and will never ever walk into this place!

I have been trying to renew my prescriptions and both days I have held on the phone for over 45 mins! Absolutely ridiculous. Hire more staff! Not to mention when you go there they are not the friendliest bunch!

It says it's opened until 9. I went there at 7: 25. It's closed. False advertising.
