Shoppers Drug Mart

Had a very positive experience dealing with the person at the Canada Post counter. We had a complicated request which they took the time to work through and offer suggestions on without making us feel rushed. Being on the larger side this Shoppers offers quite a wide selection of products and is reasonably well stocked and staffed. It's also clean and has a generous-sized dedicated free parking lot so very convenient when you need to make a quick trip.

I have honestly had so many issues with the pharmacy here and now reading the reviews I see I am not the only one. On multiple occasions, my prescriptions have been filled wrong, I have been shorted medication and then given a look as though I am just trying to get more out of them. I have had my prescriptions questioned as though they are the doctors and don’t think I should be on it but it was my doctor who made the decision to put me on those meds. I have also had to have my doctor call back to the pharmacy when they missed 2 prescriptions that were faxed to them and was delayed starting new meds for a week. The staff can be quite rude and not understanding in the slightest. I have never been asked for ID since the first time I grabbed prescriptions there and when I explained that I have Psoriatic Arthritis and can barely walk to go grab my ID from my car, I was still forced because I didn’t look familiar. From the looks of the previous reviews, all we get is a phone number to contact them about complaints but it would be nice if they took the time to actually look at these and maybe see that they need to make some changes to the way they handle stuff in their pharmacy!

Absolutely ridiculous the way they run the pharmacy. The last 6 times in a ROW they have messed up prescriptions, gave wrong amounts, said it would be ready when it wasn’t, missed prescriptions that were faxed not once but twice too them! Will be going elsewhere clearly they don’t care about their customers. Who ever is overseeing the pharmacy is doing a terrible job.

All I will get is a stupid response saying to contact their 1800 number because they already know how poorly ran this business is and by calling you’ll get some low level employee that doesn’t care.

I cannot recommend this pharmacy.
Regular problems when trying to fill prescriptions.
Responses to questions have be inappropriate, rude, and contradict my insurance company.
Was once shorted 10 pills and told I must have taken them by mistake. Not possible. They billed insurance for their mistake.
I have been shorted on pills since then and only discovered after I got home now up to a few times. Had to call and have been treated rudely more than once.
Dispensing fees are very expensive, particularly given the poor service. Read the other reviews, treatment of customer concerns/complaints is rude.
Today I watched a staff person roll their eyes at an elderly man asking questions at the pharmacy help desk. Some of these folks are in the wrong business.
There are better pharmacies in town.
You can report serious problems to the College of Pharmacies in Ontario.

Large store with lots of popular products such as pharmaceutical, beauty, food, electronics. Free parking, friendly staff, points program, convenient to Hwy 7.

Way over priced you can get the same items elsewhere a lot cheaper avoid shoppers at all cost

When the rudeness and lack of customer care comes from the top, it explains the attitude and competency of the pharmacy. The owner/head pharmacist was insolent and talked repeatedly
about how she deserves a break as they are "trying our best". She repeated that three times.

She wanted to hector me and say I was the one in the wrong, I never said a rude word. I just asked legitimate questions about how they handle my medications. They never informed me about the process and she was excessively defensive. Zero management of expectations.

She wanted to silence me by shaming me for asking questions about why the drugs I need are not in house. This has happened repeatedly at the Perth Shoppers.

It was so offensive but predicable from an owner of a pharmacy with such well-deserved low ratings. Trying to shame your customers is not what they teach you, even in Pharmacology. FYI attention to detail is critical when dispensing drugs; attitude, not so much.

Sorry, my prescriptions are not about trying your best. Your consistently incompetent dispensing and non- dispensing of medications is serious with serious consequences.

This is not my first issue with this Shoppers, I have had to address previous issues with the owner.

When you bully your customer, you are in the wrong business. I felt bullied.

Please don't respond with a hackneyed reply that you care, clearly you do not.

I visited this pharmacy from out of town and spoke with pharmacist Sarosh. He was extremely helpful, very friendly and answered all my questions! Highly recommend.

The only good person they have in the Pharmacy is Lisa Bowes. The other staff comes and goes. Lisa actually cares about the customers.
She is an asset to this company.

Tammy at the makeup counter was amazing! She helped my old age mother pick out concealer which helped my mother look so much younger! Tammy is great and knowledgeable with the products they sell. The pharmacist at the back too were also so friendly and helpful! Anyone wanting Travel vaccines go here! Went back in again later in the day because I needed some grapes and I got amazing customer service from Josh and then a quick and kind swipe through cash from Grace. Truly some of the best customer service and shopping experience I’ve had in a while!

Checked with this location before heading over on phone about their passport photo service, they said come anytime (person was very curt). Only to find on reaching the store that they are not providing this service due to a "broken camera". Wasted my lunch break due to their unprofessionalism.

THE PHARMACIST WITH THE INTIALS M. O.needs to be investigated by the pharmacists association. His mass incompetence is going to end up getting someone killed. He is rude, not informative, and while I sat waiting for my prescription (that he had already been incompetent with) I heard him flub simple multiplication on medication. The older lady had to repeat herself multiple times that he was wrong while he argued with her. In the end, thankfully, he admitted his mistake so the lady did not end up with wrong dosages. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IF HAS GIVEN YOU A PERSCRIPTION.

The company is forcing people to use self checkout so I will never spend another cent there. They, and their partner corporations and governments, aim to remove front line workers, paper money and then force the population to use controlled 'central bank digital currencies. ' From that point, they will control people via a social credit score. This is one step on that path. Avoid all multinational corporations, shop at the other privately owned pharmacy, Pharmasave, in Perth!

I’m from out of town and found myself in need of a prescription. Everyone at the pharmacy were lovely to deal with but my man Sarosh really came through. He noted an allergy of mine that the ER doctor missed and basically saved my life. He immediately dealt with the problem and within 15 mins I was out the door with a smile on my face and had a prescription that wouldn’t kill me. Thank you!

Literally incapable of getting prescriptions filled on time always some weird screw up. Have had 5-6 terrible experiences with their pharmacy it's actually infuriating how often my doctor has had to call and explain the prescription or do the refill math for them. Will never return to this pharmacy. Rest of the store is the same as every other. Do not waste your time just go to the Carleton Place one. I'm going to drive an extra 20 mins that's how bad they are
