This location has friendly staff and very helpful, and thoughtful pharmacists.
I suspect many of the one star reviews are mistakenly being put to this location but are actually for another Shopper's location

This particular Shoppers has been absolutely wonderful! The pharmacy staff members are exceptional.helpful, patient, understanding, friendly and knowledgeable. A special thank-you to Pryce, Ritheu, Khaled and Shohdy for their kindness and support.

I'm not one to write reviews, let alone negative ones, but hopefully this can help someone. I went to this pharmacy for a few years and had a somewhat OK experience, but recently, their level of disorganization caused a major disruption in my medications (think unintentionally going cold turkey on 3 medications at once for several weeks at a time) which had SERIOUS ramifications on my health, leading to hospitalizations. I would give 0 stars if I could.

HORRIBLE, TERRIFYING, and WORST pharmacy experience EVER.

If you need urgent medication, NEVER go to this one because, from what I experienced, they will mess up the whole thing, and you will end up not receiving ANY medicine.

Yesterday, I was very unprepared to purchase something through transaction. I returned to them 3 times because of the mistakes I made without having realizing. I felt embarrassed about it but I had to go back to them. I was helped by 2 adult females. I was not expecting to get good help. They were nice to me. I really hope they read this comment. Thank you, you two.

I've been going to Shoppers ever since the new owners took over. The service was great then. Now the service is terrible. It is because they are to cheap to pay for more to help. Yesterday I called to refill a prescription and I'd pick it up today around 2.p. M. I showed up at 4 p.m. And I waited 15 minutes to be told what I need they didn't have any and no shoppers had it, which I find hard to believe. Finally they sold me another brand and because it wasn't exactly what I was to have I had to pay $8.34 because my insurance would not pay for it. Then on my blister pack I was told I owed something like $23.00 or more. I argued with them about it and I got some stupid excuse that my doctor didn't sign what ever because he was late in doing so, I refused to pay it. Also they service again it just terrible and there is one new person and he is extremely rude. This is time to change pharmacies. Never again will I be told my prescription is not ready and no one has the courtesy to phone me in the morning to tell me they ran out I was angry with everything there today and on Monday morning I will be changing pharmacies and not a Shopper's.

There is no selection when it comes to body washes. And when I got my passport pictures done over there, the passport office said that I had to redo my passport pictures since they where not done correctly.

I was shocked and appalled that two pharmacy staff at this location refused to accept my partner's valid birth control prescription provided by our family Doctor. They made several excuses, including that they didn't like the look of the doctor's signature. None of their excuses made any sense. In the end, they just refused to take the prescription. I began thinking that they refused the prescription due to their own personal opinions/beliefs on the use of birth control. We ended up going to the Rexall pharmacy around the corner and had no issue filling the prescription. The pharmacist at Rexall was surprised when I told them that Shopper's Drug Mart refused to fill the prescription - stating it was a very standard prescription. I am still in disbelief that this happened, and will not be returning. I advise others to do the same.

This is my favorite shopper's. The pharmacy staff are amazing. Thank you all for the service you provide. Keep up the good work

I don't have an issue with any product at all, however, I have seen up to a 50% increase on certain items over the last few months. It's very disconcerting when you're on a restricted budget. I can't afford most of the products.

This place is uncomfortable. I am a customer. There is no bathroom to use. The manager says it is only for the staff to use

Arrived at the pharmacy during a severe downpour and was literally wet from head to toe. The kind assistant pharmacist Keeri insisted on getting me paper towels to attempt to dry off. So kind and thoughtful which is another reason why I like this pharmacy. They care.

Pharmacy staff go above and beyond to support their clients here. My doctor has made several mistakes on prescriptions and the pharmacists and pharmacy techs here do everything possible to fix things!

The lady at the cash today with light blue shirt wasnt very friendly and very rude today. She needs to be more friendly especially if ur working alone and u need to get more staff. But she didnt seemed she liked her job and she needs not to work if she doesnt like it. Would never go back sorry

I would give zero stars if I could for customer service - if you have a cut you wanted to clean, with products you might be buying there, they should let you use the washrooms to do it, but they don't and you're on your own. For a place that sells medical stuff, they should have zero stars, they actually told me to try another store! I didn't need to visit another store for the washroom, so I didn't bother. I bought the products I needed there and had to clean a cut in my car with bottled water! I shouldn't have given them any business that day.

Don’t get your passport pictures here, got there and the guy asked me to wait 15 min because he wanted to go on break. Terrible service

Nothing but bad service from the Owner the Pharmacist and his Supervisor,

I can't see how Shoppers Drug Mart give their business to franchise with this Owner,

The Owner is very rude and unprofessional and his Supervisor extremally rude and doesn't know how to treat clients,

Save yourself the Hassle and the Headaches and take your business somewhere else,

As soon as I walked in they made me uncomfortable. I came in to look for a few things and as soon as I pick up a makeup product they told me as soon as I’m done shopping I have to head straight to the tills. They didn’t say anything to anyone around me. Just because I look younger than I am they thought I was going to steal. Instead I put the products down and just walked out because I felt extremely uncomfortable and targeted. Definitely not shopping at this location anymore!

The costumer service at this location became bad. I went today to get candles. There was one pack on the shelf, I took it and went to ask cashier if it is possible to check if they had more. I usually buy 3-5 packs every few days. He said they don’t have it. I asked why he was so sure about that and usually he may call someone to check at the back. So he said they sold out this item few months ago. While saying that he, I guess, realized what stupidity it was and his facial expression truly revealed that realization. I held the package in my hands thus the product is at least available for sale at the store on a general scale.
I politely let him know that he’s wrong to assume that product was sold out few months ago. Honestly last time I bought these candles few days ago.
I didn’t want to start the fight, thanked him for his help, took the pack and paid at the self check out.
But is there anyone managing employees at this location? Like train them to do the job and not just stand behind the counters like models? People working there were so amazing just few month ago. I guess they also sold out alongside with the candles. What is the scale of laziness or disorientation on work task not to able to call somebody to check the product at the back?
Anyway, I use this location for years now particularly to fill my husband’s medication that are about $3000 monthly. Plus my meds, make up and cosmetics amounts to a lot of money every month. I would not hesitate to transfer our prescriptions to somewhere else just not to deal with this level of disrespect and negligence.

I have always had great service at this location. Best pharmacy service I’ve ever had. Helpful, prompt, hard-working. The staff from the Beauty department are helpful and never pushy. The cashiers have always been great. The one area that could use improvement is the Post Office. One employee rushed through explaining my shipping options and I was confused. When I asked for clarification, they rushed through it again. So I just made a choice and hoped I picked the right one.
Another time, I brought several boxes to mail and they flat out told me they couldn’t mail those big boxes there and told me to go to the terminal. The terminal was closed and I needed them mailed so I tried another Shoppers location. I asked if they could mail them there and they said of course. So I don’t know what the problem was.
Two other things would make my shopping experience here even better:
-if they did not assume pronouns for people they don’t know
-and if all staff continued to mask

Staff always questions my prescriptions and even refused to give it to me because of 'their own judgment'.

Thanks to the Pharmacy staff today (Dec. 3rd), so kind and polite while that assisted me. Costco could not fill my prescription in full (they had only 16 of the 40 pills my doctor prescribed and would not have a supply until Dec. 23rd). Costco faxed my prescription and Shoppers had enough pills to fill the prescription. The most rewarding part was they listened to this Senior citizen!

Multiple times my partner or I have went to pick up our prescriptions and we’ve been told someone has already picked them up earlier. After insisting no one else would have picked them up for me, one night they were pulling up security footage and I waited for over 20 mins for them to tell me someone had taken my medication hours before I arrived. I would understand a fluke occurrence once…. But this has happened 3 times. How does someone walk away with another persons meds when security questions are asked upon retrieval?
It also takes forever on hold for someone to pick up the phone with questions concerning medications. I’ve never had problems with any other shoppers pharmacy. Will be happy to switch to another location.

The store is bad and its staff are bad too. They treat customers with racism and bad manners. And the manager also, if a customer complains about one of the employees to the manager. The manager will tell the customer that you are undesirable in the shop. The manager is also racist and has bad manners. It’s so shameful

I have tried to get my medication numerous times from the pharmacy and every time there is some issue. I have to walk quite a distance to get there and there have been times I have walked all the way and then the medication isn’t ready. I had to wait an hour one time and when I came back it still was not ready. I’ve been told completely wrong information by staff at this location. I have waited for an hour on hold, I’ve been passed off to multiple employees and kept on hold each time. I’ve been given one medication and not the other I needed refilled. I’ve been told countless times that my medication is ready through their text system and I even call to check with a human that its ready and when I walk there they say they don’t have it. Do not rely on them whatsoever to fill your prescription, especially if you need it at a certain time or day like I do. I have gone through withdrawal because of them being unable to fill my prescription.
