I rarely give such a low rating but this location never ceases to disappoint me.

I have a cottage in the area so I've needed to pick up the odd item. Two summers ago, I approached the cosmetic counter and the manager/cashier turned her back to me and took a call from a customer instead. I waited several minutes then left.
I snapped a picture of her as I was appalled. I won't post it but it's my evidence.
I returned last year and couldn't find anyone to help me. This was a common occurrence. It's apparent why everyone goes to the one on the other side of town. Last year, my father needed to transfer some vital medication to this Shoppers as he left his in Toronto. The pharmacist gave him a very hard time and high fees. He has since moved to the area and took his business elsewhere.
And then a week ago, I was making a purchase and had to beg the associate to take my phone number so I don't lose points as he said they were no longer allowed due to internal fraud. That's a YOU problem, Shoppers Lakeshore, not a ME problem. I hate to be the one that has to threaten to call corporate to tell you to do your job, but really, guys?

I don't necessarily blame the part timer that was just following orders, but I do blame your management for not finding better solutions and pitting them against frustrated customers. I'm sure they don't get paid enough for that drama.

And why do the points matter so much to me? It's to make up for the price increases we have all had to absorb from Galen. Enough said!

The cashier Lana should not be working on cash. No social skills at all. Not friendly. No smiles. She needs to work in the back with no customers around. It be a better fit for her.

Went in to shop some products with my sister in the makeup department, she was helped in what she were looking for quickly, service was great! Thanks to Ashley for being very helpful.

Hours used to be longer. We have so little in West Ferris and have always relied on Shoppers. They keep cutting their hours and staff and it really affects us. All for the profit I guess.

I sent the money via moneygram. My wife visited this store for the money. The lady at the counter told her that she doesn't know how to give the cash or cashier's check via money gram but she took all the informations. Later my wife visited other moneygram store for the funds and they told us she already took the funds. We already launched the complaint with moneygram and it will take 90 days to resolve the issue with no compensation or remedy for the customer. Vow, what a service. I request all the people in Northbay not to use moneygram services from this store or its better even not to use any moneygram services in Northbay.

So I decided to use self check-out seeing I only had two items! Unfortunately for me the first item I scan says can only be purchased at counter and put up a light for assistance! After waiting for a few minutes two other female employees walk by and start talking about a display or something!
And the girl at the front cash now has an even longer line!
After waiting several more minutes the two employees turn back towards me I asked for assistance she said that she's working the other checkout and that I would have to wait for the checkout girl at the front and proceeded to walk away I said are you kidding and threw my stuff down at the self check out! She then began to belittle me as I walked out the door!
It's workers like this that make a business lose customers! Not only was she not helpful for me! But also her co-worker
