Who does Loblaws hate more, their customers, or the store employees who work under your pathetic rules?

When I go to your Shoppers stores, I don't appreciate being told I have to perform the duties of a checkout clerk in order to make a purchase using a debit card.

And I don't appreciate corporate bullies who give store owners heck because their employees aren't forcing your "valued customers" to use self checkouts.

Employees shouldn't be getting hell from front of store supervisors because they are serving customers in their preferred method.

And employees should not be told to offer to do the self checkout for customers so you can justify adding more self checkouts by claiming customers prefer them, because we don't.

The fact you don't pay your employees a living wage is deplorable in itself, and now you want to eliminate those jobs by having the customers do the work that an employee should be doing.

This is absolutely horrendous behavior on Loblaws' part, especially when you are ranking in record profits.

I had already made a purchase at your pharmacy till which I had refunded when your cashier refused to provide me with actual customer service.

You do realize I can purchase everything you sell online or from a local competitor that appreciates my business and treats their employees with respect and dignity.

You'll never see another dime of my money if I can help it.

My family goes here to pick up their mail. They are Anishinaabe and suffered considerable levels of racism from the staff here while just trying to get service. When my family member presented his status card as ID to pick up mail, the caucasian male cashier demanded that he also present a welfare stub. My family member is not on welfare but is obviously Anishinaabe with dark skin. This is utterly unacceptable and racist behaviour from staff here. This happened a few days ago.

I am absolutely appalled at the treatment of nice customers in this store. A woman had asked the manager to help her with the electronics as per usual no staff were to be found, she was YELLING at the customer to go wait in the section for an employee. What a DISGUSTING vile attitude. And when I had come back to speak with upper management, I was yet again met with nasty rudeness by the cashier who was doing nothing else so I’m not sure why it was such an inconvenience for her. Whoever owns this store needs to teach the staff how to be friendly. Wow. I’m disgusted, worst attitude ever. If you don’t like your job, quit,

It's very disappointing to see no one at the tills and only self check out. Why not hang a sign outside stating you don't care about employees and would rather replace them with a machine.

The staff follow you around, when one staff was following me … I followed him right back lol! He never followed me again … some of the staff are nice and helpful but others just follow you around! Which I hate racial profiling is it?

The store is great as well as location but the pharmacy has poor quality control. I agree with all previous negative comments regarding pharmacy. It use to be good but things have changed over last year and I am considering moving our family prescriptions to another location.
