Shoppers Drug Mart

This pharmacy has a 1 star rating for a reason. I booked a 10am online/phone Covid appointment to get my medication. The meds can only be taken within a window of time. For these meds, you need to be screened by the pharmacist first.

I booked my appointment two days ahead of time. Can't go into the pharmacy for obvious reasons. Well, 10am came and went. Called many times and was put on hold for a very long time. I was forced to find another pharmacy, but now had to wait another day, as all pharmacies were busy. I was painfully ill at this point, and getting worse.

Lived in Milton for 20 years, and I have never experienced a pharmacy like this one. One thing if you are dealing with moldy bread from a store or an over priced auto mechanic, but these are medications for people. People in pain most of the time, or meds needed to actually live.

The generic comments from this business, "Sorry you had a bad experience, " show that they really don't care.

Avoid the pharmacy at this location, my doctor prescribed a Shingrix vaccine in October, when I went to the pharmacy, I was told it is not covered by my insurance, that's why I decided not to take it, but today when I checked my insurance claim history by accident, the pharmacy claimed the vaccine and got paid in Oct, I called them to ask why, the person who answered the call was very rude telling me she had no idea. What a cheating, why they submitted a claim without authorisation.

Nobody's in any kinda hurry nice plaza shoppers is shoppers all the same.
