Shoppers Drug Mart

I came into the location to see if I could Exchange a perfume that I had already opened. I went to the beauty section, and I believe Marcia was the one who had helped me out. I wasn’t able to make my exchange due to a mistake on my behalf, but Marcia still took her time to help me find the perfume I was looking for. She’s so kind and genuinely cares about her customers. I always appreciate when employees treat their customers more than a customer, and treat them like a person as well. I highly recommend Marcia and the beauty section of this Shoppers location!

I continue to be frustrated with the pharmacy here. Only reason I continue to go is the location convenience. Since the owner change a few years ago the pharmacy efficiency has suffered and customer service is terrible. A few examples, I received an email that my medication was ready. I go to pick it up and am told it is not. I show the email sent and staff scurry around trying to find it. Unable to do so, the pharmacist has to redo the order so instead of a pick up I have to wait for it to be redone. This has happened multiple times. There are specifically two members of staff that are rude. I had made an error in reading a text sent to my phone. I thought it was a pick up message but it was a message telling me I had no renewals. As I waited in line to get what I presumed was a pick up, I watched an employee berate another employee as well as the pharmacist and then it was my turn. She explained my mistake and told me to “read the whole message next time”. Yes, it was my error but rude is rude! It’s gotten to the point where I feel intimidated just picking up my prescriptions. I have to announce my birthdate in line. This is new since the pharmacy changed hands. It used to be name and address now it’s birthdate. There is only one employee there that I find pleasant and I pray for her when I go in for pick ups. Unfortunately, she is not on the pick up or drop off desks very often. Convenience or not I think I have to change pharmacies.
