This is by far one of the worst shoppers drug Mart locations. The staff don't care at all about providing customer service. The worst is if you try and call this location, they never pick up or answer your call. I've actually tested it well in the store. Looking at the customer service rep, I've called and watched them pick up the phone, put it on hold and continue checking their person cell phone or talk to their friends that are visiting them while working.

Nice shoppers. A little hard to find things at time s just because of how the store is laid out. Convenient. No issues with stocked items from my experience.

The pharmacy is either completely understaffed or improperly run.
It's not uncommon for noone to answer the phone and you can wait up to 10 minutes on hold if you need to speak to someone. Same with in store service.
Refills sent by Dr often have to be sent multiple times.

They are always late filling the prescriptions. You have to wait for them even if you drop it off a head. I always call the day before.

Threatened with bodily harm by the security guard here. Slandered-falsely accused of attempted robbery to justify the threats uttered by the guard. Neither the owner nor the company will do anything to make it right. They’re not even apologizing.

There were three potential witnesses to the threats — all employees of shoppers so we know how that’s going to go.

Shoppers has been stonewalling me since this happened (in the summer of 2021). Emails, calls, and letters have all been a waste of time. Called the 1-800 number multiple times. Told “just be patient” but no one has ever contacted me with a resolution. They’ve had a year to respond and they have my email if they cared to respond.

Feels like they’re not even interested in the truth and won’t escalate my complaint higher up. Never thought something like this could happen in a reputable store.

Moved all my business, including pharmacy, to a small, local, independent business where they don’t take customers for granted.

MAJOR communication problems at the pharmacy, bring a book. Nothing but pharmacist walking around looking at each other and looking around aimlessly. The pharmacy needs to tighten up.

They were distracted chatting with colleagues, then refused to accept a return after asking me for the receipt and date of purchase. They told me to go back to the original branch. When I said no problem, the staff adds “ they won’t take either, they never accept returns”. Rude and a waste of time.

I’ve had very un happy experience today,
First I wanted to return a product and the cashier seemed very distracted with his colleagues and was insisting on going to the branch that i bought it from to return, where he didn’t listen to me when i was telling him that never happened and I usually return in different stores, then by mistake he clicked on something and the refund was completed, he didn’t apologize or say anything
Then i went to buy OTC medicine and when i got home I found out it was expired 3 months ago
Minor note: 100,000 points were redeemed from my optimum card 10 days ago and I didn’t even leave my house that day

We called to check in if this location does passport photographs. Customer service representative was unprofessional. She hung up the call without letting me complete my sentence. I called second time and she was very rude on call. And, later she refused to give her name. One of the worst customer services I had ever experienced.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They lost my prescription and I had to call my doctor to fax the prescription they lost. Although it's in a convenient area I rather travel an extra 10 minutes to go to the Metro pharmacy.
Clearly very understaffed as well as I waited 15 minutes just to speak with someone at pickup.

Christine the pharmacy owner and her team are really amazing. They went out of their way to help us get a vaccine booster. And they were extremely kind and helpful along the way.

The pharmacist who sits there is one of the most rude, insolent people I have never met. She needs to go back to school to learn some manners. Upon complaining to the manager, I was told that the pharmacist is the owner of this location. The manager was a polite gentleman. I will never step in here or refer anyone to this location owing to the attitude of the owner: pharmacist. This location brings down the entire experience at Shoppers Drug mart thanks to the owner: pharmacist.

Manizha provided exceptional customer service.showing patience, knowledge and kindness. Her ability to suggest recommendations based on my maturing and ever changing skin tone was very helpful. She even sought me out while I was shopping in the general area of the store as she had noticed me looking in the beauty department when she was attending to another customer. 5 Stars!

Beauty boutique customer service here is amazing. I called for an inventory check and they picked up right away, found the item, and reserved it for me. Was also helpful when I arrived at the store and wanted to get more. It’s a huge beauty boutique and they can carry an expanded range of high end beauty products

Very Rude pharmacy staff. I called this location to inquire about booking an asymptomatic COVID-19 test. The Shoppers Customer Service lady was very nice but she did not know the details of the process so she transferred me to pharmacy.

The man who answered was very rude and was rushing me and not answering my questions. He told me to go to the website. I told him that I wanted him to walk me through the process because I could not find the North Liberty Booking portal, he started asking me personal questions and asking why I needed the test instead of giving me good customer service and guiding me through the process.

I will not be coming to this location for my pharmacy needs.

You should not treat people in such a way during a pandemic and a state of emergency, please provide some sensitivity training to your pharmacy staff.

The pharmacy at this store is the most pleasant I have been to my entire adult life. They are lovely on the phone and in person. They have been so helpful with contacting my doctor to refill prescriptions.

Parkdale is my home location, but I go here to shop. 3 self-serve kiosks. When you scan your optimum card you have to pull the lever above the scanner.

Great store. I don't know why so much negative non-sense.
I have been here 4 times already and every time was a great experience.
Finally a Shoppers that carries a 18 case of coke for 4.99. Convenient place to shop at close to home.

So happy a Shopper's Drug Mart was opened close to my parent's home. Went there today to pick up some "Boost" that I had a raincheck for. Terrible experience, poor customer service at cashier and left without anything. Very disappointing and I won't be back. No consideration for seniors.

The pharmacy assistant was terrible at this location. She not only was rude but she made me wait despite there being no one else in line, also made me empty my basket bc “it was too hard for her to do it” and made me bag all my products myself. Entitled and rude staff here. If you don’t want to have cashier duties or think you are above them, don’t work at a pharmacy in shoppers drug mart

Went to the pharmacy today. The medicine I needed had to be requested to the pharmacist. The first pharmacist I spoke to was knowledgeable and nice. However, she had to ask the other pharmacist about dosages for this particular pill. This pharmacist that took over was rude and made me feel like I should feel guilty for having her do her job. I only needed about 5 pills, but when she saw what I wanted she said I should just buy the whole bottle because she didn’t want to break up the bottle. So she wanted me to buy a 70 dollar bottle of 100 pills because she couldn’t figure out how much to charge me for smaller quantities. She was dismissive and at one point just ignored me, walked away and left to help out another person that had just got to the counter. When I asked her if that was it (meaning was she still assisting me) she again told me to hold on. But her tone was unnecessarily dismissive and rude. At that point i just walked away rather than keep dealing with the attitude. Ended up going to the pharmacy at the nearby Metro. The pharmacist was lovely and had no problem dispensing the quantity, just needed to wait around 10 minutes for her to prepare it.

Nice location, especially for those into cosmetics as it’s most of the store’s footprint. The pharmacy is tucked away at the back, and sadly there is no post office. Self check out kiosks available as well.

It’s clear they work very hard but the stress is always taken out on the customers with rudeness and passive aggressiveness. Once I fill all my prescriptions on file, I will no longer be going here despite the convenience of it being so close to me. I’d rather go to a pharmacy 10 minutes away where I am treated like a human and not a punching bag.

I came here 10 min before closing time unknowingly. The pharmacist told me if I wanted to buy my items I better go up to the cash now.
The items I had, nicotine gum, were on sale but we're not labelled and the sale price was more than the regular price.
The stock clerk reported the wrong price, forcing me to show them the regular price and do the basic arithmetic for them.

I get people don't want to hang out at work but it would have been much quicker if everyone put a little more effort in doing their job properly and pay more attention to what they're doing!
